What if a horror movie did more than scare you—it opened a door? In this deeply personal and chilling episode, a listener shares how watching The Grudge at age 14 triggered a spiral of overwhelming anxiety, shadow figures, and demonic oppression that seemed to attach itself to her and her family. From sleepless nights and terrifying hallucinations to a dark entity crawling toward her on the bedroom floor, this experience grew darker and more intense—until divine intervention showed up in the most unexpected place: a fast-food restaurant. The phrase 'elbows up' is hard to escape these days. But many Americans don't know just how angry some Canadians are. We're joined by an American writer who recently wrote an article about that. What do you think... are your elbows still up?
On this episode, Michael's on hiatus so Anthony and Anna are left to discuss the pressing issues of the day. From Trump's re-targeting of Obama, to some great immigration legislation from Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), to the Epstein files (of course), to a new caucus in Congress that might just help you in an emergency… we've got it all! Plus a new fun concluding section where one of us gets to rant for a minute because who doesn't love to rant in these trying times?
Better grab something to write with before you hit play on this one. In this extra-long episode, we dive into a variety of horror sub-genres and each pick a title that we think defines that category. Not necessarily the best film, but one that captures the essence of the sub-genre in a meaningful way. To help us take on this ridiculously huge (but fun) challenge, we've brought back Aaron Christensen—aka Dr. AC—to join the conversation. If you're new to the genre, this one's especially for you. If you've been around a few years (or decades) we think the conversation is still worth your time, and we hope that you consider giving a few of these a revisit. Time to start that new watchlist! All set? Notes ready? Coffee or energy drink in hand? Then hit play! Titles mentioned in this episode: 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), Abbott & Costello Meet the Mummy (1955), Alien (1979), Army of Darkness (1992), Audition (1999), Bad Taste (1987), Baskin (2015), The Beyond (1981), Black Christmas (1974), Black Sabbath (1963), Blair Witch Project (1999), Braindead aka Dead Alive (1992), Bride of Frankenstein (1934), Bring Her Back (2025), Cannibal Holocaust (1980), Carnival of Souls (1962), Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972), Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), Creepshow (1982), Cruel Jaws (1995), Curse of Frankenstein (1957), The Devil's Wedding Night (1973), Dracula (1931), Evil Dead 2 (1987), The Exorcist (1973), Fight Club (1999), Frankenstein (1931), Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed (1969), The French Connection (1971), Gamera vs. Barugon (1966), The Giant Claw (1957), Godzilla (1954), Godzilla vs. Hedorah aka Godzilla vs the Smog Monster (1971), Ju-on: The Grudge (2002), Guinea Pig 2: Flower of Flesh and Blood (1985), The Haunting (1963), Hellraiser (1987), Hereditary (2018), Horror of Dracula (1958), Horror Rises from the Tomb (1973), The Host (2006), The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies (1964), Island of Lost Souls (1932), It Follows (2014), Jacob's Ladder (1990), Jaws (1975), King Kong (1933), Kwaidan (1964), Lair of the White Worm (1988), Let's Scare Jessica to Death (1971), The Monster (2016), Nekromantik (1988), Nightbreed (1990), Night of the Living Dead (1968), One Missed Call (2003), Onibaba (1964), Paranormal Activity (2007), Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), Paranormal Activity 3 (2011), Phantasm (1979), Pieces (1982), Possession (1981), Psycho (1960), Pumpkinhead (1988), The Raven (1963), Re-Animator (1985), Repulsion (1965), Return of the Living Dead (1985), Ringu (1998), The Ritual (2017), Rosemary's Baby (1968), The Sadness (2021), Satan's Sadists (1969), Saw (2004), Scream 5 (2013), Scream VI (2023), Seeding of a Ghost (1983), The Seventh Curse (1986), Shatter Dead (1994), Shaun of the Dead (2004), The Shining (1980), Suspiria (1977), Terrified (2017), Terrifier (2016), Tetsuo (1989), Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), The Thing (1982), Things (1989), Tombs of the Blind Dead (1972), Toxic Avenger (1984), Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010), The Ugly Stepsister (2025), Uzimaki (2000), Vampyros Lesbos (1971), Viy (1967), What We Do in the Shadows (2014), When Evil Lurks (2023), The Wicker Man (1973), Young Frankenstein (1974)

Firing Jerome Powell, the chair of the Federal Reserve, has long been on President Donald Trump's wish list. Despite nominating Powell to run the country's central bank in his first term, Trump might be gearing up to fire Powell at any moment. Ousting Powell could add to an already precarious economic situation, fueled in part by Trump's large cuts to the federal workforce and threat of tariffs against major trading partners. Today on “Post Reports,” host Colby Itkowitz sits down with reporter Andrew Ackerman, who covers the Federal Reserve, financial regulation and consumer financial protection for The Post. Today's episode was produced by Tadeo Ruiz Sandoval and edited by Reena Flores. It was mixed by Sean Carter. Thanks to Jen Liberto.

Howdy, Void! We've returned to Jurassic Park to prove that people were indeed murdered the first time and will be again. Hammond suddenly becomes Sir David Attenborough after only 4 years and has established a nature preserve! Oh yay. . . he's finally "figured it out" (not). Our team travels to Las Cinco Muertes [Site B (The Five Deaths)]and no matter how many people tell them it's a bad idea, they go 'cause money. We have Eddie (the Hero), Nick (the hippie bad boy), Sarah (the worst big game specialist), Kelly (the only one with sense), and Ian (traumatized). We cackle at the dino descriptions from bad-guy Pete Postlethwaite: Elvis, Friar Tuck, THE POMPADORE!!!! Ultimately, we learn that when it comes to the carnivores of Isla Sorna, they know how to hold a GRUDGE!

Sometimes it's hard to know if Trump is just smack talking or if he really means something. When it comes to retribution and payback, it turns out Trump was absolutely serious about going after those he felt wronged him. Trump's Department of Justice now has criminal investigations open for both former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey. Federal officials say both investigations are in connection with the Trump–Russia probe and include allegedly making false statements to Congress. Trump is talking about a federal takeover of Washington DC and possibly New York City too. He's pointing to increased crime as a reason recently staying, “We have tremendous power at the White House to run places when we have to.” We'll talk about all of it with presidential historian and political analyst John Rothmann.
12 - Trump's DOJ has once again revealed that Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself, but the data isn't exactly lining up. Why is Ghislaine Maxwell still in prison, and why would Jeffrey execute himself if there was little evidence against them? 1210 - What is wrong with this official in Texas going after people for wanting to help the missing girls at Camp Mystic? 1215 - PA Senator Dave McCormick joins us. Why did he ultimately vote yes on the Big Beautiful Bill? What were the parts he liked and disliked? What is the caveat for school choice in Pennsylvania going forward? How much money had we been burning as a country on Medicaid before this bill? How much is wasted in just Pennsylvania? When will the Medicaid changes go into effect? What can Dave tell us about his energy summit coming this month? 1235 - Your calls. Why is Connor Lamb defending Brian Fitzpatrick's vote? Side - All time grudge. 1240 - Ken Burns is making a new documentary. Why is Dom not a fan? 1250 - Tucker Carlson interviewed Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and got to asking him some “tough” questions, according to Dom. We get his reaction. 1 - School districts are paying families for their kids to come back to school? Broad and Liberty columnist Guy Ciarrocchi joins us today. Was Fitzpatrick's “no” vote on the Big Beautiful Bill because of local pressure, say from Bob Harvie? Guy isn't so sure. Is behavior like that something we can come to expect from politicians repping the suburbs? Why did Guy drop everything to write his latest column on the Johnstown School District offering 2000 dollars to families for their child to return to the public schools rather than an online charter? A different school district is offering a bounty? Why should listeners care about what's happening out west in Johnstown? Dave McCormick revealed something about school choice in PA, what does Guy think about it? When will we start calling on Josh Shapiro to start actually doing his job? 120 - The “Parker Piles” are getting bigger on the streets of Philadelphia as the trash strike wages on. What is going to be done about this? Is Mayor Parker wrong with her thinking and plan to handle the negotiations? Is there rooster fighting in Philadelphia? 140 - Why are people insisting on making the Bucks County Sheriff's race a national race? Your calls. 150 - The media has at it with Karoline Leavitt over the inconsistency over the Epstein files messaging from the Trump DOJ. Your calls. 2 - Scott Presler joins us yet again for another weekly installment of voter registration numbers and more. Are Bucks County Democrats smart for trying to nationalize the county's sheriff's race? How close is Chester County to flipping from blue to red? Pollsters have Jack Ciattarelli down 20 points to Mikie Sherrill, is that accurate? What card does Jack have up his sleeve, according to Scott? What does Scott think about Elon Musk's idea to establish his own third party. How much weight is Scott down now? 215 - Dom's Money Melody! 220 - Peter Doocy sparred with Karoline Leavitt over the Department of Justice's lack of consistency with the Jeffrey Epstein case. Will this issue divide the MAGA base? 225 - Were there enough meteorologists working in Texas over the weekend? What are the metrics for deciding who gets Medicaid? 235 - What does the June jobs report say? 250 - The Lightning Round!

Do you hold a grudge? Is there someone from your past orpresent you've struggled to forgive? In today's episode on Philemon 1:5–12,Pastor Mike Massey dives deeper into Paul's plea for grace and forgiveness ashe writes to Philemon about Onesimus—the runaway slave who has now become abrother in Christ. This verse-by-verse Bible study reveals the heart ofChristian love, humility, and how Jesus transforms us into new creations forHis kingdom.daily Bible study, God's love, Christian podcast, God'sWord, Bible teaching, forgiveness, Philemon, study the Bible, Jesus loves me,Christian sermons, grace of God, daily devotion, verse by verse, reconciliation, peace of Christ, Paul and Onesimus, Christian fellowship, spiritual accountability, saints, Christian identity, let go of grudgesIn this heartfelt episode, Pastor Mike Massey invites you toexamine your heart for lingering unforgiveness, while unpacking Paul's loving,Spirit-filled appeal to Philemon. Paul hears of Philemon's faith and love forJesus and the saints, and challenges all of us: Would anyone hear about yourfaith and love for Jesus? Is your walk with Christ contagious enough to be seenand talked about? Would there be enough evidence to convict you of being aChristian?Mike explains the biblical definition of saints—notmiracle-working superhumans, but all believers in Christ. If you're a followerof Jesus, you are a saint. Paul encourages Philemon, telling him that his loveand faith have refreshed the hearts of the saints. This encouragement remindsus that living boldly and lovingly in Christ has ripple effects that refreshand uplift others.Rather than commanding Philemon to do what's right, Paulmodels humility and appeals out of love. Mike reminds us this is a lesson forhow we should relate to others in the body of Christ—holding each otheraccountable not with condemnation, but with love, grace, and truth. Headdresses the false notion that confronting sin is judgmental. On the contrary,Scripture calls Christians to lovingly confront both believers andnon-believers, not to condemn but to point them to the saving grace of Jesus.Paul also shares his spiritual resume—he's aged, experienced, and a prisoner of Christ—and then appeals on behalf of Onesimus, whom he calls “my son.” Onesimus, once unprofitable, is now profitable for bothPaul and Philemon because he's been transformed by Jesus Christ. Mike unpacksthis beautiful truth: through Jesus, people who once failed, hurt us, orwronged us can be redeemed and used by God for His glory. If God has transformed Onesimus, a thief and runaway slave, into a man useful for the kingdom, imagine what He can do with you—or someoneyou've been holding bitterness against. The blood of Jesus makes all thingsnew. This episode challenges listeners to lay down the burdens ofbitterness and grudge-holding, and to pick up the joy of reconciliation. Whenwe walk in God's love, we become spiritually profitable—ready to serve, togive, and to refresh others. Let today be the day you forgive, love, and sharethe grace you've received through Christ.Have an incredible and a blessed day, and join us next timeas we continue in Philemon 1:12.
