This Sunday, guest speaker Milton Jones wraps up our series with part 4 of ‘Your Faith, Their Hope.' He challenges us to make a lasting global impact through faith and service—transforming lives around the world through the work of the Christian Relief Fund.
Christianity is not only about what we believe, but also about how we behave. If we are truly followers of Christ, we should live out our faith in a way that glorifies Him. In the second half of Ephesians, Paul instructs us how to figuratively “walk out our faith.” Five times in Ephesians 4–5, Paul tells us specific ways to walk as followers of Christ. Pastor Gary discusses these five ways in today's teaching entitled, “Putting Feet to Your Faith.”
In this message from Sun City Church, Your Faith is a Seed, we explore how even the smallest step of faith can move the heart of God and unlock miracles in our lives. Discover how planting your faith in God's power leads to a harvest that impacts your life, your city, and the nations.
In this episode, Chad and Robert challenge the modern view of church as a place you attend rather than a mission you live. They unpack what it really means to be the Church, a Spirit-empowered movement of people on mission with Jesus, and how we can step into that mission. This Sunday, Pastor Curtis continues in our new series with Part 3 of Your Faith, Their Hope — “The Common Man.” In this message, we're reminded that as we go through life, our everyday faith has the power to bring hope to the world around us. Even the “common man” is called to shine brightly, make disciples, and reflect Christ in all we do.
Pastor Neil continues the series "Living out Your Faith" with the next message titled: Taming The Tongue, based out of James 3:10.
On This Week at Charlestown Road, Jason and Roger revisit Sunday morning's sermon, “The Fall of Your Faith,” diving deeper into this powerful Old Testament phrase: “Caleb fully followed the LORD.” What about us? What will that look like today?
Faith works by love! This is one of the larger concepts that Pastor Mac talked about in the third message in his series entitled, “The Fight for Your Faith.” Galatians 5:6 tells us that faith works by love, so that means the relationships we cultivate are going to represent channels of ministry through which God can use you to bless others. However, in order for those relationships to work, they must be founded on the love of God. Furthermore, love is not a feeling. It is an act. This is the kind of love that God says will make your faith work. The Uplift app is here! Try it free for 30 days We're in our Health & Wellness Series, and today I've got my dear friend and favorite repeat guest, Lisa Whittle, back on the show. Honestly, at this point, she's basically my co-host—and every time she joins me, the conversation is fire. Lisa just released her new Bible study, Body and Soul, and we're diving into what she calls “whole body theology.” It's powerful, it's eye-opening, and it'll make you rethink everything you thought you knew about faith, health, and how God designed your body. We're talking about how the enemy twists body image into a weapon, how to break free from those lies, and what Scripture really says about honoring your body—not out of vanity, but out of reverence. If you've ever struggled with how you see yourself, this episode is for you. It's truth-packed, grace-filled, and might change the way you walk through the world. Pastor Mac began a new four-part series entitled, “The Fight for Your Faith.” His message was based upon 1st Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…” It's the goal of every believer to “lay hold on eternal life.” Eternal life is the God kind of life. And here's the great news! You don't have to wait until you get into heaven to experience it. You can have it right now on this earth by fighting the good fight of faith. Pastor Mac says, “That means your faith has the capacity to appropriate a quality of life that would otherwise escape you.” So if you're fighting the good fight of faith in order to lay hold on eternal life, you need to know your faith is not valueless. Guest: Karol Ladd, author, speaker, and involved grandparent - check out Karol's latest blog articles on the power of positive grandparenting If you'd like to watch this podcast, check out the PCA YouTube page. The world tells grandparents one of two untruths…first, that because they are older, they are insignificant; and second, now is their time to retire and take care of their own needs and desires. The Bible paints a much different picture for grandparents. Proverbs 16:31 says, “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.” That “crown of glory” is to be respected and honored and the wisdom that comes with age should be considered valuable. This proper perspective or grandparenting is shared in Dr. Josh Mulvihill's outstanding book titled Grand Parenting: Strengthening Your Family and Passing on Your Faith, which is one of the eight books in the Grandparenting Matters series. Last week was Grandparents Day for the PCA North campus, and this Friday, September 19th is Grandparents Day for the Plano campus. We hope that all grandparents are able to attend and we want to get connected with each grandparent who wants to be equipped to be a strong spiritual influence in their family and the community!

This summer, we're taking a short break from our regular podcast format, and instead have selected various installments from past message series given by James Emery White at Mecklenburg Community Church where he serves as the Senior Pastor. While topics related to marriage have been the focus of previous Church & Culture podcast episodes, we've never engaged this particular aspect of marriage before in our discussions. This installment titled "Marrying Outside of Your Faith" was a part of a series called "Don't Do Stupid: Marriage Edition." Because the Bible is incredibly clear about what happens when a couple is unequally yoked. Whoever loves money never has enough. Whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. Those words of wisdom came from Solomon, in Ecclesiastes chapter five verse ten. Today, Ron explains how the love of money can wreak havoc in our relationship with God. It's the final installment of his teaching series, “His Money, Your Faith,” and it comes your way next.
Jesus said, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. In just a few moments, Ron continues his series, “His Money, Your Faith,” by asking a simple, yet profound question, where is your heart. You'll find it by looking at where your treasure is.
Today, Ron takes us to the all-too-familiar problem of consumer debt. Many people struggle to make ends meet, and part of the problem is they've made a bad choice or two along the way. How can you get debt free? What is God's plan for your finances? Find out next, as Ron continues his teaching series, “His Money, Your Faith.”
When you look at your bank account, it may seem like you can't afford to tithe. The truth is, you can't afford not to. Today, Ron continues his series, “His Money, Your Faith” by giving us an in-depth look at God's financial plan, what Ron calls the ten-ten-eighty plan. It's biblical, it's practical, and it's essential for your financial health and your spiritual health.
If you're wondering if God cares about the way we use our money, consider this, the Bible contains more than two thousand verses on the subject. Money can often distract us from doing God's will, and it has the potential to enslave us if we're not careful. Today, Ron shares three keys to managing our finances God's way as he continues his series, “His Money, Your Faith.”
Luke 8:22-25 — When a Christian thinks all things seem against them, and they're blinded by despair, they are called to have faith in Jesus Christ. Often, the storms of life lead to feelings of hopelessness. A person is scared and believes they are lost, not knowing if they can survive this next storm. They may even be afraid that God does not care. In this sermon, "Where is Your Faith?" from Luke 8:22–25, Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones continues to tackle this issue of spiritual depression through an examination of the disciples' own fear. As a storm at sea threatens their lives, Jesus rebukes first the storm, and then the disciples––they lack faith. The lesson is simple: Christians should never live in a state of terror. Yet, too often, they do. Today's Christian's problem is no different than these disciples' as they question Jesus's commitment to them. The call is the same. Christians must not question God's goodness, but trust Him. They must have full confidence in Jesus. Listen as Dr. Lloyd-Jones explains the nature and character of faith. Faith is not an automatic response in the believer, but something one must exercise. Does Jesus care about His people? Yes, He does. He will always receive them, bless them, and give them peace. Trust the God who calms the storm.
