Miruga is man accustomed to remaining in the background like a "Lentigo". He follow's the Underground Deep House Scene like a little shadow maybe because he still believes "DJ must be like a Lentigo." His main policy is a non-musician style. It is true that he have produced music & released some music. But, please bring back to memory of late 70's punk scene. Were there any musician's at that scene? For sure, every punk rockers played their instruments, but It is an entirely different matter than "Was It Music that they played?" This is still no small issue for him. Because an artist must have something to tell someone about something. So he wants to say that there is no importance on skill as compared to "soul & spirit". The importance of expression is still on enthusiasm for expression. He still loves the music made by strong enthusiasm whatever the level of performing technique or skill. He started spinning 11 years ago in Lebowakgomo, then Sunnyside Pretoria, spends most of his free time documenting stories for his podcast (Time4House) established in 2012. His upbringing was musically-influenced by his Father who introduced him to music on cassette and Vinyl and his passion was inspired by a veteran Radio DJ Glen Lewis, Iggy Smallz and international producer Sven Weisemann. He started collecting his own music mostly via cassette back in the year 1998. Having played at most affluent night clubs like House 22, YDE Pub, R55 Chillout, Basement Lounge on Road 82, Viewpoint Shisanyama (Tembisa), Pat's Pub (Rustenburg), RockerFella (Soweto) amongst others, alongside, Vinny Da Vinci, Trev the Japanese, Chymamusique, Piday, Malankane, Sabz, Thabo Phalatse, Bubbles, Julian Gomez, Mlu (Metro FM), Kanunu (House Afrika) and playing at special events mostly hosted by himself via Time4House and promoting his own shows, BlackCart had a lot of time to develop his sound. It's more about dropping knowledge on his tapes and the love for quality music than it is to just make people dance... Playing those mind provoking Deep House tracks that will have you nodding your head without even realizing it, Regardless of its release date. Ah this one is a special track actually… It’s quite slow, 9 minutes long and not something you play in every club. It’s a slightly Detroit inspired moody track with deep chords, and it has a vocal which everybody will recognise. I credit her on the record with Ernestine R, with Ernestine actually being her middle name. I chose this because Fulbert is actually my middle name. That’s all for the anecdote. Anyway, I started to produce the track when I was in Japan and I had it almost ready one year ago, but I spent a lot of time on the finishing touches. It should be released next month on Rawthenticity with 2 other tracks made by 2 producers I really like; Toni Be from France & Miruga from Japan.
