Precision, timing and good mixing skills are the primary elements one thinks of when the name Echo Deep comes up. The Soweto born DJ and Producer Tshepo Molefe is one of the most respected artist, both locally and internationally. Echo Deep is well known for his features, hit singles and album releases under the world renowned house music record label, House Afrika Records. He released his first album House Afrika Mixtape 1 under the record label. Then go on to release his second Album “The Music City” which was also featured in House Afrika Album bumper pack “Mzansi House”. His third Album, The Music City (Unmixed) which was released under Motherland Distribution; home to the highly acclaimed music giants, DJ Christos and Dino Michael. The album featured the likes of Melrdy B, Maya Spector, Robyn Kate Pritchard, Steve Paradise, amongst other various international and local artists. The DJ gained recognition in the dance music scene at the age of 18. He has already featured on the popular Don't Look Down production, Hit Refresh; a DJ TV show on Vuzu TV (consecutively). The DJ has also featured on various radio shows like Kaya FM (The World Show with Nicky B), Metro FM, Goodhope FM, Lesedi FM, Ukhozi FM, Deeplomattik Radio (UK), YFM, Motsweding FM, 5FM, Child of House (Greece) just to name a few. DJ Sanza (Born Sandile Mabaso) is a DJ from Pretoria, Mamelodi. From an early age of 15 years Sandile started collecting Soulful House, Deep House And Broken Beat Vinyls before he could play(DJ) because he loved house music. He started DJing at the early age of 16 years where he displayed his talent for house music at local pubs in Mamelodi and Soweto. Inspired by the late Slim Jan, Paouls and Simon, DJ Sanza who is popular for his unique mixing and track selection skills during his live sets, started becoming more popular in Pretoria and the whole of Gauteng for the mixtapes he releases on a monthly basis. DJ Sanza was signed with Deep n' Soul Touch, a top local DJ group in Mamelodi managed by Tebogo Katz Katz. He built a strong partnership with Thabang TekniQ Ntuli where they frequently toured the country and he released his first single titled "HEY" which had massive tremendous response from Osunlade and Black Motion to name a few, he also mixed TekniQ's compilation album titled TekniQ - Abstract Mood and co-founded Abstract Mood Music with TekniQ after leaving Deep n' Soul Touch. Meet Brian Bongani Msibi well known as Mohamed Dee. Taking the djing industry by storm a young vibrant man hailing from a little township called Ekangala . At the tender age of 14 years 2001 he was inspired by the legendary Glen Lewis and Vinny Da Vinci that`s when he knew he had to perspire in order to make his passion a reality. Mohamed Dee plays a variety of music but vastly specialises in deep and soulful house music. He also looks up to international sensations such as Lars Behrenroth, Kerri Chandler, Charles Webster and Larry Heard. The year 2014 was a stepping stone for him...he met the late Isaac Mthethwa brother of Eugene Mthwethwa of Trompies and from there Mohamed Dee was introduced to other heavy-weights of the music industry such as Picat from Alaska and HHP. he aquired more experience when he used to play opening sets for the above mentioned artists. Of course the road to achieving your dreams is never a walk in the park, and that was proven when in the year 2005, Mohamed Dee fell inlove with vinyls but unfortunately couldn`t afford them, but due his passion he stopped at nothing to have vinyls in his possesion that`s when he searched and left no stone unturned and found other fellow dj`s who already had vinyls Andrea DA DJ, McDope, Lele, Vusi K. The basics were taught to him by an aspiring dj called Flatshuz, after getting the hang of it he practised daily and ultimately mastered the technique bought his very own 2nd hand vinyls. As years went by, he occasinally played at varoius events such as parties and weddings and in the year 2012, a new joint was opened around his hometown Ekangala called EKAY MEWS. He would play every now and then until ultimately due to his talent he won peoples hearts and ended up being a permanent resident dj. He has shared the stage with the likes of Vinny Da VInci, Miggs, Essential-I, Rocco, the list goes on... Bio: Marvin Makhoba is not only a HOUSE hold name in Osizweni (a township in Newcastle), but has come to make his mark all over the club scene in KZN. The irony of Deep Marvin’s childhood is that he did less partying when young. I presume he did not realize that he would one day be the reason of several parties in KZN. He draws his inspiration from his friends and from the passion he has for the music. The beginning of the new millennium aroused Deep Marvin’s curiosity of becoming a dj but the move was held back until 2007 when he took the craft seriously. Deep Marvin didn’t hesitate to mention the Deeper Shades of House renowned dj/producer Lars Behrenroth as someone he would love to share the stage with. In 2012 Deep Marvin started a podcast Pleasures of Intimacy where he shares some of the music he likes and also includes mixtapes from djs all over the globe. Not only is it a deep house podcast but it serves as a foundation of a deep movement he wishes to see succeed one day. With only a year the podcast has hosted some of the great names that includes Jesus Gonsev, Jazzman, DJ Russell, Shelli Diego. Vicmari, a producer and live performer from South Africa. Well known in producing Electronic, Dub, Ambient and also Techno sounds fusing them with a bit of Acoustic music to give you those soothing sounds he is known well for. Currently working with a German recording label Slope Music, Eclipser Chaser. From humble beginnings, VICMARI was born in a small township in Durban, South Africa, KwaDabeka K; his love for music began in a very tender age. As he was most of the time alone, being an introvert, the only close friend was his music. As most house lovers, he started wanting to be a house Dj and managed to get himself a computer from fixing them and helping where he could. His music collections were influenced by Dj's and compilers like Monde, Bubbles, Khabhila, Ndux, Vinny Da Vinci and Christos just to name a few. As years went on, in 2009 a friend introduced him to FL Studio not knowing anything about the program, a friend just told him, "It's a tool to make your own music". But Vicmari didn’t really connect to it at first and the sound he was producing did not live up to the young mans standards In 2011, as technology developed, social media played a major role in the ambitious young man, as it made it easier to connect with people from overseas countries like the UK, USA, Japan and Germany. He came across an overseas radio show "DeepRhythms" hosted by DJ Timo. In that specific show, he came across an exhilarating guest mix by Daniel Paul Behemann Vic connected immediately with Daniel via social media. They became friends and Daniel was now Vic's Mentor whom guided him through the early stages of his music career. The friendship grew stronger and Vicmari became part of the Slope family.

Blackcart is a Pretoria based Dj who hails from Lebowakgomo (Limpopo) and loves playing Deep house, Minimal and left field house music. He started spinning 11 years ago in Lebowakgomo, then Sunnyside Pretoria. He spends most of his free time documenting stories for his Podcast (Time4house) established in 2012. His upbringing was musically-influenced by his Father who introduced him to music on cassette and Vinyl and his passion was inspired by a veteran Radio DJ Glen Lewis, Iggy Smallz and international producer Sven Weisemann. He started collecting his own music mostly via cassette back in the year 1998. Having played at most affluent night clubs like House 22 ,YDE pub, R55chillout, Basement Lounge on Road 82, Viewpoint Shisanyama (Tembisa) Pat's Pub (Rustenburg) , Rockerfella (Soweto) amongst others. Alongside; Vinny Da Vinci, Trev the Japanese, Chymamusique, Piday ,Malankane, Sabz, Thabo Phalatse, Sabz, Bubbles, Jullian Gomes, Mlu (Metro FM), Kanunu (House Afrika) and also playing at special events mostly hosted by himself via Time4House and promoting his own shows. His DJ career began in grade 11 in high school where he was a regular at the popular pubs around the township. After taking a long break in varsity he is back looking forward to spinning beautiful tracks from a variety of genres. His major influences come from pioneer DJs like Iggy Smallz, Ash K Malama, Mbuso, Monde, Fresh, Fistaz Mixwell, Vinny and Christos. A large amount of his inspiration is also drawn from producers like Kerri Chandler, Franck Roger and François K amongst many others.
