Billy Kelly is a great comedian in Lewisburg, Pa., who picked up a Grammy nomination in 2016 for Trees, an album he wrote with Molly Ledford. A musician for most of his life, Kelly started telling jokes formally in 2015 and is one of the central figures in the Lewisburg scene. He runs the C.O.M.I.C. open mic at Civil War Cider with Bill Russum and has released his second comedy album, "This is a Family Show," on Audible. Perhaps more impressive, he became a major character in a joke written by Zack Hammond. Stay tuned after the interview for a two-minute preview of Hammond's upcoming album, "... Because I'm Considerate." Support the show (https://www.facebook.com/OnTheMicWithMikePeters/)
