How could the global Church respond to the needs of vulnerable children in a way that leads to lasting gospel impact? Children are among the most vulnerable members of society, especially those facing poverty, exploitation, and displacement. In this episode, Dr. Susan Greener—an expert in global human development—shares insights on how Christians can approach ministry to children-at-risk with a holistic, gospel-centered perspective. Drawing from decades of experience, she unpacks strategies for transformational community development and cross-cultural engagement that genuinely make a difference.
The God on the Move podcast is back with regular episodes, sharing inspiring God stories from the global church, with the global church. At least, almost. During our break, we've been working on expanding God on the Move to a whole new content category dedicated to sharing testimonies of God's work across the world. Designed for every believer, this new category of content highlights inspirational God stories from the global church through articles, videos, podcasts, as well as non-English content. God on the Move invites you to witness and participate in God's mission across cultures and generations. On top of that, you can now join the God on the Move community on the Lausanne Action Hub to be part of the conversation, see exclusive content and share your own testimony. Join the God on the Move Community here. With this new approach, we will also be switching to a new rhythm of releasing God on the Move podcast episodes only every other week, while the Lausanne Movement podcast episodes will be published in the weeks between. We hope that this new rhythm will allow you to get to enjoy both of the podcasts. And so, with this new Bonus Episode, We're doing something slightly different to what we normally do and bringing you the latest Lausanne Movement Podcast episode before returning to our God on the Move stories next Monday. with Pastor Micheal Oxentenko
For more than a dozen years, North Church has partnered with Pastor Oscar Ynfante and his church, Torrente de Vida, and One Child Matters in the Dominican Republic. Through our Heart for His House initiative, we have been able to help provide education, healthcare and spiritual leadership to hundreds of kids. In today's episode, Pastor Rodney sits down with Pastor Oscar as he shares his testimony of how he came to Christ and some of the most important lessons he's learned over the years in ministry.
We hear from Pastor Josh as we conclude missions week at Greenville First. We also receive a special invitation from Brandon Ramey of One Child Matters to make an impact around the world.

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:13-18 (NKJV) Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22 (NKJV) Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5 (NKJV) And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:45-49 (NKJV)

One Child Matters Weekend / April 30 & May 1 by Plum Creek Church
One Child Matters is a child development organization helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of children in poverty-stricken areas of the world. By connecting ONE sponsor to ONE child, they ensure children receive food, education, medical aid, and hope in Jesus. There is only ONE mission. He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15 (NIV) If we aren't careful… we can compartmentalize the simplicity of what Jesus asked us to do… and treat other gospel strategies as less important than others. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.” Luke 4:18-19 (NIV) “He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.” Luke 4:18-19 (NIV) It is the number ONE priority of the Church. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NLT) “…Upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.” Matthew 16:18 (NLT) The local church is the hope of the world. …if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. Isaiah 58:10-12 (NIV) The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:10-12 (NIV) Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. Isaiah 58:10-12 (NIV) It's about ONE life at a time. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) “…baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) The Great Commission is a RELATIONAL command for a RELATIONAL impact. You're here to defend the defenseless, to make sure that underdogs get a fair break… Psalm 82:3-4 (MSG) Your job is to stand up for the powerless… Psalm 82:3-4 (MSG) That's what I love about this organization… they are making a way for INDIVIDUALS to have an INDIVIDUAL impact… that collectively makes a difference. (ONE child matters… not 40,000) Only ONE name gets the credit. “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NET)
