JAKARTA — Ketua Umum Persatuan Organisasi Petani Sawit Indonesia (POPSI) yang juga Dewan Serikat Petani Kelapa Sawit (SPKS), Mansuetus Darto, mengkritik rencana pemerintah memperketat tata kelola ekspor sumber daya alam (SDA), khususnya sektor sawit. Ia menilai kebijakan tersebut berpotensi memicu ketidakpastian pasar, mengganggu rantai usaha sawit nasional, hingga menekan ekonomi masyarakat di daerah.Dalam wawancara di program Elshinta News and Talk, Kamis (21/5/2026), Darto mengatakan pemerintah terlalu fokus menghitung potensi tambahan penerimaan negara dari pencegahan praktik under invoicing dan transfer pricing, namun belum serius menghitung dampak ekonomi di tingkat akar rumput.“Pertanyaan baliknya adalah apakah pemerintah sudah menghitung dampak ekonomi di akar rumput? Karena ketika kita bicara sawit, ini bukan hanya soal ekspor dan devisa, tetapi menyangkut ekosistem ekonomi jutaan orang,” kata Darto.Menurutnya, industri sawit Indonesia berbeda dengan Malaysia yang kerap dijadikan pembanding pemerintah. Ia menilai struktur industri sawit Indonesia jauh lebih kompleks karena melibatkan petani plasma, petani mandiri, buruh sawit, hingga pelaku usaha kecil di daerah.“Di Indonesia ini sawit sudah menjadi ekosistem ekonomi sejak era transmigrasi tahun 1970-an. Ada sekitar 17 juta orang yang hidup dari sektor ini, mulai dari buruh sawit, petani plasma, sampai petani mandiri,” ujarnya.Darto mengungkapkan kekhawatiran bahwa rencana sentralisasi tata kelola ekspor justru telah memicu ketidakpastian di pasar. Ia menyebut harga tandan buah segar (TBS) sawit di tingkat petani mulai turun sejak wacana kebijakan tersebut disampaikan pemerintah.“Hari ini harga TBS sudah turun sekitar Rp200 per kilogram. Bahkan harga CPO yang sebelumnya sekitar Rp15.800 per kilogram turun Rp800 setelah pengumuman Presiden. Ini dampak dari ketidakpastian pasar,” katanya.Menurut Darto, pelaku usaha kini mulai berhati-hati dalam membeli pasokan sawit dari pihak ketiga karena khawatir terhadap mekanisme baru ekspor yang belum jelas. Situasi itu dikhawatirkan akan memukul pabrik sawit skala kecil yang selama ini menjadi penampung hasil petani mandiri.Ia menjelaskan, jika perusahaan besar hanya menyerap pasokan dari kebun milik sendiri, maka pabrik-pabrik kecil akan kehilangan pasar. Dampaknya, petani kesulitan menjual hasil panen dan ekonomi daerah ikut terpukul.“Kalau serapan pasar berhenti, tanki penyimpanan penuh, pabrik berhenti produksi, akhirnya petani tidak bisa menjual TBS. Ini yang harus dipikirkan pemerintah karena risikonya sangat besar terhadap ekonomi pedesaan,” tegasnya.Darto juga mempertanyakan dasar perhitungan pemerintah terkait potensi kebocoran negara akibat praktik manipulasi ekspor sawit yang disebut mencapai miliaran dolar AS setiap tahun.“Pemerintah boleh menghitung keuntungan negara, tetapi angka kerugian akibat transfer pricing dan under invoicing itu juga harus dibuka metodologinya. Tidak semua pelaku usaha melakukan praktik seperti itu dan tidak bisa digeneralisasi,” ujarnya.Selain itu, ia menilai pemerintah belum melibatkan para pemangku kepentingan sawit secara memadai sebelum menggulirkan kebijakan tersebut.“Sampai sekarang belum ada diskusi serius dengan pelaku sawit dan para pemangku kepentingan. Padahal dampaknya akan sangat besar terhadap sektor sawit nasional,” kata Darto.

Brenda Caster was raised SDA, and even went to an Adventist boarding school. She rebellled a little in her teens, but ended up staying SDA, and eventually married a man who became an SDA elder. When she found a network of ex-SDA people trying to help people out of the church, it opened her eyes to a whole new way of looking at the world. Brenda shopped around Protestant congregations, but was intrigued by the Catholic faith, which seemed both foreign and familiar to her. She discovered The Coming Home Network, and suddenly many of the questions that had been unanswered in her SDA background found fulfillment in the Catholic Church.

They introduce the four core practices articulated by members of the D-SDL: Framing Complexity, Meaningful Formgiving, Building Relationships, and Nurturing Reflexivity; and discuss centering relationality, moving from extracting to reciprocity, and embracing "doing less" in design. ...Hannah Goss is Assistant Professor of Transition Design at the Human-Centered Design department at TU Delft's Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Her research focuses on how designers can stage their expertise to foster societal transitions, developing tools and methods to help designers understand and navigate complex systems change. Her PhD focused specifically on using design to foster the transition of the Dutch food system towards reducing food waste. Hannah is a member of the TU Delft Systemic Design Lab and the Food and Eating Design Lab, contributes to systemic and transition design education, and is part of the production team of Contexts—The Systemic Design Journal.Dr. Sine Celik is an architect and design researcher. Currently, Sine is Assistant Professor of Network-driven Systemic Change at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft. Sine's research is situated at the intersection of systemic design, innovation research and network studies. Her work focuses on the role of social dynamics when designing for and with complex societal challenges. She earned her PhD degree from TU Delft with a thesis on the development of innovation ecosystems from a network perspective. After her PhD, she joined Aalto University Design Factory in Finland for her postdoctoral studies, where she continued exploring ecosystems and design cultures. Sine has been actively engaging with the RSD and SDA community for over a decade and was one of the organisers of RSD10 in Delft.Jotte de Koning is an assistant professor of design for sustainability at Delft University of Technology (TUD). Can the SDA Church ever be wrong? Was Hitler really a Christian? And was that "impression" from God... or just last night's pizza?

In this first of a two part conversation on Sunday School Dropouts, Andrew Kerbs and Laura Anderson sit down with Ashley Buckner, LMFT, to explore her journey growing up in an unorthodox Mormon home in Cedar City, Utah, and the lasting impact of purity culture and childhood sexual abuse. Ashley shares what it was like to grow up in a “less than” Mormon family with a Catholic father prior to his baptism, the pressure to perform worthiness, and the shame of being born to parents who were pregnant before marriage. She reflects on how purity culture shaped her understanding of her body, sexuality, and value, and how secrecy and silence created the conditions for abuse to remain hidden for years.Ashley bravely recounts being sexually abused at age four by an older family member and the way cultural messaging around sex and worthiness reinforced silence and self blame. She opens up about not disclosing the abuse until age twenty, leaving the LDS church after moving to Los Angeles, and how experiences of unconditional love outside Mormonism shifted her perspective. The conversation also explores why talk therapy alone was not enough for trauma recovery and how brainspotting and other nervous system based approaches helped her access healing stored in the body.
