In this episode of “In Stride,” Sinead is joined by international event riders Arthur and Logan Duffort. Arthur and Logan Duffort are international event riders and trainers who run their business, Otis Eventing, from a farm in the Loire Valley, France. They began managing a yard together in 2012, shortly after getting married. Between them, they boast an impressive list of accomplishments. Arthur spent four years riding for Andrew Nicholson and has competed up to the 5* level, earning placings at Burghley and completing both Badminton and Pau. He was selected to represent France in the 7-year-old World Championships and has secured multiple wins and placings at national events, ranging from pre-novice to advanced levels. Logan spent two years riding for William Fox-Pitt, one year with Laura Collett, and also rode part-time for Mark Todd. She was selected to represent the USA in the 7-year-old World Championships and at the London Olympic Test Event. In this episode, Arthur and Logan discuss topics related to training and working as a team, including: • Their backgrounds in horses and the story of how they met. • Developing a training system that blends and enhances their individual styles. • Establishing a camp designed to teach young riders how to build a professional career in the industry. • Exploring the cultural differences between France and the US when it comes to horse training and sales. Join Arthur, Logan, and Sinead in this exciting conversation about bridging their backgrounds and creating a successful business.
Welcome back to Pizza Quest.Mark Todd is a recurring guest here on Pizza Quest because, one, I love cheese (every kind!), and two, he's so interesting and makes cheese interesting too as he demystifies this magical, fermented, "spoiled" solid milk so that we can enjoy it in all it's mighty nuances and permutations. In past episodes with Mark, we've explored stretched cheeses in the "pasta filata" category, cheddar cheeses, and hard, aged cheeses. This time we've taken the big leap and a deep dive into "stinky cheeses," which means Alpine-style washed-rind cheeses that are not for the timid. But, oh, the rewards!! We join Mark from his base in the wilds and woods of Sonoma's rustic "West County," along the Russian River, where Mark is often found hunting for edible mushrooms in the redwood forest when he isn't teaching the world about the joys of cheese. I guarantee that you will learn more than you ever imagined during this lively conversation with our friend, Mark Todd, "The Cheese Dude."

Ockham co founder Mark Todd has been part of the apartment scene in Tamaki Makaurau since 2009. His company has completed more than 1100 apartments at various sites in Auckland including including the blocks, Tuatahi in Mt Albert and Aroha in Avondale. At the recent opening of the high end property Mr Todd took a swipe at developers of sites in Drury - 38 kilometres south of Central Auckland He says urban sprawl contributes to Auckland being a city many can't afford to live in, particularly service workers who are the necessary backbone of the metropolis.

Most of us would regard sailing nearly 30,000 miles around the world via the three great capes and the Southern Ocean, an epic, life-changing achievement. But the 160 adventurers who will embrace the Ocean Globe Race are now acutely aware getting to the start line on September 10th is almost as challenging and as daunting as the race itself!! This race is totally in keeping with the spirit of the 1973 Whitbread, where ‘ordinary' sailors competed with sextants and paper charts, but without the huge budgets, cutting edge hulls and super-high tech computers. In this episode Marine Podcaster Ceri talks to MDL's Tim Mayer about how this amazing event came about. Also featured is the founder of the OGR itself, Don Mcintyre. Then you'll hear from the three charities that the OGR is supporting; Mark Todd the CEO of The Youth Trust (south), The Restoration Science Officer from Blue Marine Foundation, Dr. Luke Helmer, and finally Tracy Edwards MBE, the owner of the much-loved Maiden, who of course skippered the first all-female crew in the 1989 Whitbread.

In this episode, I talk with Senior Colorist, Mark Todd Osborne. Mark is known for coloring feature films like Need for Speed, Silk Road, and It Follows. But, in addition to those movies, Mark has graded a wide range of documentary subjects from Phil Spector to Sesame Street. Documentaries can have specific challenges for a colorist. Recreations and stock footage need to fit into the story, and some docs even use a look to set the time and mood. And there can be a debate over whether to restore footage, versus keeping it as authentic as possible.

Several weeks back, a video from a Mark Todd clinic circulated around the internet - it was a clip taken during a clinic, and it caused a lot of conversation and controversy on social media. This podcast is not about that video in particular, but the video did spark some reflection and larger conversations around what we deem acceptable in horse training, what we don't, and how those standards are set and upheld. In this episode of Equestrian Voices, host Caroline Culbertson sits down with eventer Matt Brown, show jumper Anne Kursinski, and dressage rider Jeremy Steinberg to discuss. They discuss: How they felt when they watched the video or read the community's response Whether or not the rules that govern our sport reflect what we culturally deem acceptable in horse training Defining abuse and delineating between what challenges a horse and what constitutes abuse How things have changed in the past few decades How this very question changed the course of Jeremy and Matt's lives and careers Turning insight into action and what each one of us can do and consider moving forward
Special Guests, Youtubers, FRANK RIVERS, View From The Man Cave and MARK TODD, Black Men & Cigars Podcast drop by to discuss the concept of WHAT WOMEN BRING TO THE TABLE in a relationship. In the past the question was typically directed toward men, since men were expected to be the breadwinners and full time STAY-AT-HOME WIVES were commonplace. Today full time STAY-AT-HOME WIVES only make up 9% of married couples in the U.S. So, are women today expected to bring finances to a relationship? For some men, finances are not a concern, so in that case what do they expect women to bring to table? Does a HIGH-INCOME WOMAN have different expectations for what she should she bring to the table, or does she figuratively reverse the role and ask the man what does he bring to the table? We'll be back with new episodes soon, but until then here's one of our most popular episodes of 2021.From July: Over the last 30 years, a generation of voters and politicians made a decision to stop investing in infrastructure – it's expensive, and it means you can't cut taxes or keep rates low. Now we're seeing the collective catastrophe of this underinvestment landing on our heads in the form of labour shortages and massive housing affordability problems. In this episode, Bernard Hickey reveals an intergenerational wealth transfer worth $1 trillion, and how it could be atoned for and reversed – if only to ensure the culprits can enjoy watching their grandchildren grow up healthy, warm and in person. Over the last 30 years, a generation of voters and politicians made a decision to stop investing in infrastructure – it's expensive, and it means you can't cut taxes or keep rates low. Guests: Ockham Residential founder Mark Todd and Stephen Sutorius, owner of Thames Pacific. When the Facts Change is brought to you by The Spinoff Podcast Network together with Kiwibank. From Fitness Instructor to Financial Advisor to Marketing Director to Doula to Home School Founder to E-Commerce Entrepreneur to Youth Coach. We shared our unique definitions of Community. We discussed the challenges in our Communities. We concluded with how we can better uplift, direct and get others involved in Community. Thank you to my amazing panelists. For our 30th episode Jimmy managed to persuade Mark Todd from Todd's Reviews to join us as our special guest. It only cost Jimmy £400! There are handchecks, news and lots of inane questions for Mr Todd to answer. I had to make my questions up on the spot, as Jimmy wouldn't tell me who our special guest was until we started recording. Jimmy made his questions up on the spot because he's a c*nt. There's no Flavour of the Week because Jimmy was so chuffed about getting Mark as our guest, he completely forgot about it! We also have an exclusive, as Mark may be starting an office chair review section on his YouTube channel. He uses this podcast to decide if he prefers his office chairs with or without arm rests ...
