'Cinema Degeneration Presents' is a podcast that aims to be an all-encompassing show that doesn't limit itself to one topic or genre. We'll be covering all sorts of movies, books, music and more. There will be solo reviews and group chats with multiple different guest hosts and interviews. Sometimes there will be themed segments such as "How The F*#k Did That Get Made", "The Good, The Bad, The Independent", "Why Is That Not Eric Roberts?" and iterations of past shows like Old Not Obsolete and This Is Your Brain On Film. For our 3rd episode we are bringing you a celebration of the truly weird and utterly independent with a double feature of reviews. Starting off the festivities our hosts Cameron Scott and Marcus Koch review the 2016 slippery killer classick "THE GREASY STRANGLER" directed by Jim Hosking. This weird slice of fried gold horror comedy is such a wild ride that we highly recommend wearing your seatbelts. {You have been warned!} This review is followed by a "The Good, The Bad, The Independent" segment recorded back in 2020 with hosts and filmmakers Rebecca Rinehart and Cameron Scott during the height of the pandemic lockdown once thought lost to the hard drive overlords reviewing the 2018 anthology flick "Hi-Death" directed by such indie sensations as Brad Sykes, Tim Ritter, Amanda Payton, Todd Sheets and Anthony Catanese. Join us in celebration the truly mad and definitely weird.

We here at Cinema Degeneration thought it was time for another Appreciation Month topic! We bring to you a celebration of the life and career of the late great filmmaker Mr. Albert Pyun. Pyun was a maverick director with over 50 directing credits to his resume before he passed away unfortunately in late 2022. Often operating well outside the studio system Pyun delivered films the only way he knew how...his way. We are continuing the adventures and our 5th episode with a true obscurity in Pyun's filmography with the 1986 science fiction rock opera "VICIOUS LIPS", starring Dru-Anne Perry, Gina Calabrese, Linda Kerridge, Shayne Ferris, Anthony Kentz, and Christian Andrews as Milo the Venusian Beast! This odd sci-fi tale set sometime in the distant future, a punk rock band gets the gig of a lifetime on a faraway planet if they can only make it to the club in one piece. Join our hosts Rebecca Rinehart and Cameron Scott as they discuss this rockin' chapter of Pyun's epic film history that is filled with junk space ships, desolate planets, seedy nightblubs, desert sirens, a manaical killer, and a wild ending that must be seen to be believed! Join us for an intense celebration of the expansive Pyuniverse! "The communicator's destructo babe".

On this show, our specialty is sequels, sequels, and more sequels. From the good ones, to the bad ones, to the really ugly ones, we'll be covering them all! We've got homicidal maniacs that won't stay in the grave, sci-fi epics whose stories cannot be told in a single tale, and much much more. For our 14th episode, we have chosen one of the funniest slasher sequels ever with the 1988 "SLEEPAWAY CAMP 2" directed by Michael A. Simpson. This follow up to the 1983 original slasher about one of the most decorated movie killers Angela Baker first played by Felissa Rose but played here by the hilarious Pamela Springsteen. Join hosts Cameron Scott and filmmaker/podcaster Rebecca Rinehart on a trip back to the 80's where everything was bloodier, better, and larger than life. Join us and don't be an Unhappy Camper.

We here at Cinema Degeneration have declared January 2022 "Vincent Price Appreciation Month!" Three times this week for the final week we'll be releasing a show diving into a different film from Mr. Price's catalog of over 200 film and television roles all throughout the month of January. Vincent Price was a consummate professional thespian, art connoisseur, cook, amongst many other things. He graced the silver screen in many shockers and brilliant horror films and his amazing talents truly knew no bounds. We're still going full steam ahead and continuing the festivities with Episode Ten and the incomparable masterpiece from 1974 "MADHOUSE." This tale about legendary horror movie actor Paul Toombes being terrorized into believing that his Doctor Death character may just be manifesting in the flesh was the last of the American International Pictures and Vincent Price collaborative efforts that spanned decades. Madhouse is a very meta tale that manages to bring back horror stalwarts Basil Rathbone and Boris Karloff back from the grave to join their compadres Price, Peter Cushing and Robert Quarry for one last silver screen romp. Join our hosts which include Cameron Scott and fellow podcaster/filmmaker Rebecca Rinehart as they discuss spiders, bloodless decapitations, deceptions, and lights...camera...murder!!!

'Killer Wheels Appreciation Month' was technically over with our previous episode on "CHRISTINE" but we here at Cinema Degeneration felt we owed you just one more! We have devoted weeks of time to demonic cars, psychopathic bulldozers, murderous motorcycles, and now for something a little different! These Killer Wheels all have something in common: they all seem to have a mind of their own! For Episode #8 which we are naming 'The Redemption Episode' to make up for the horrible start of things with the boring and banal "THE HEARSE", we are dissecting a real cult classic that continues to divide fans even a decade after it's release with the infamous "RUBBER" from 2010. This flick is all about a killer car tire named Robert that has the power to blow things up with their mind. Yes, you read that right. This one has to be seen to be believed. Cameron Scott and his frequent film co-collaborator and returning guest host Rebecca Rinehart dive into this obscure tale of that centers around the ideal of 'No Reason.' Are you tired of the unexpected, because you'll never see this one coming!
