His 11 plays have been produced all around the world. He was a writer on the acclaimed TV series LOVE MY WAY, in which he starred. Brendan is based between New Zealand, Sydney and London, and yet remains a loyal Cronulla Sharks fan. I met Peter over 10 years ago when I was training as an actor and he was working at the acting school. Peter Blackburn is a Melbourne-based theatre and film maker with roughly 30 productions to his name after returning to the industry just 10 years ago, who has recently opened his own actor-training studio having taught at many of the leading training institutions in Australia including the VCA, NIDA, 16th Street and the National Theatre Drama School. He has a wealth of experience when it comes to the industry and also a very generous and open heart. He shared a lot about his own personal experiences and his journey of self discovery as an artist.
