God's love for His children is deeper than we can fully comprehend. In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef reminds believers that God not only redeemed us for eternity, but He also walks with us through every season of life—comforting, protecting, delivering, and sustaining us. Before the foundation of the world, God knew His people by name. He orchestrated every detail of our lives, opened our eyes to His great salvation, and gave us the Holy Spirit to teach us, guide us, and remind us of Christ's words. Yet when trouble comes, many pray as though God must be persuaded to care, failing to remember the depth of His love already displayed at the cross. Dr. Youssef warns that too many believers live beneath their spiritual privileges. Instead of standing on God's promises, they surrender to fear, anxiety, and discouragement. But the child of God has access to the limitless resources of heaven. We are not powerless, and we are never alone. When trials come, the Holy Spirit strengthens us, the Word of God guides us, and the presence of Christ surrounds us. Our hope is not rooted in human ability or favorable circumstances, but in the unchanging character of our faithful Savior, who has already won the victory through His death and resurrection. As Christians, we can turn to God with confidence, knowing we are His beloved children, and pray: Lord, we both know that I'm in trouble, but I know Your Word says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled” (John 14:1). I am confident that You have already blessed me with every spiritual blessing. You have given me all the strength I need to face these problems. I know that You are walking with me and that You promised never to leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5). I thank You for hearing my concerns and for providing a solution. Help me to discern Your will and to obey You faithfully. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. The voice you hear on the MY Devotional podcast is digitally generated with Dr. Youssef's permission. If today's devotional stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don't have to walk through it alone.

On this episode of Day by Day our Journey Through Romans, Dr. Clif emphasizes that having spiritual privileges increases our responsibility to live out our faith, warning that simply being close to spiritual truth without genuine repentance and action can actually become a spiritual liability. In this message from 1 Corinthians 10:1-5, Dr Richie Allen preached a sermon entitled “Spiritual Privileges that Should Promote Winning”. Just as the Lord led the Israelites by a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day to where He desires us to go, the Lord leads His people today. What privileges we have as He continues to make us into the image of His Son, Jesus!

What is a first, right response to our covenant status and instruction- Romans 2-17-24 looks forward to the this week's midweek sermon. In these eight verses of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit teaches us that when we have been associated with God and instructed by God, one of our chief uses of that instruction is to follow it in such a way as to bring honor to Him.

Spiritual Privileges do not Guarantee Spiritual Success | 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 | Dr. Harry Fletcher by Osterville Baptist Church
1 Pet 2-5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.----We continue to search out the meaning of this amazing text so often glossed over in personal reading and public teaching. In this message we discover just what it means to be a N.T. -Holy Priesthood.-----We tend to use these words and phrases as Christians with very little understanding of the gravity they hold. Hence they bring very little grip and growth to our lives. Let's find out what this means and grow because of it-
From the moment we come to Christ there is a radical transformation in our lives.--We immediately begin the process of becoming like Him. This the where the life of God in the soul of man becomes marvelously evident.
1 Pet 2-4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,----In this message we do more spade work in simply coming to understand what this verse means. Specifically -Coming to Him as a living stone...-----If you do not understand this. You cannot understand the richness of 1 Peter 2-4-10. And what a great understanding it is. With great application for our everyday lives.
It will take several messages to mine the gold of 1 Peter 2-4-10. Here is the outline for this and the upcoming messages.----I. THE BELIEVER'S CHRIST--II. THE BELIEVERS COMMUNION--III. THE BELIEVER'S CAPACITY--IV. THE BELIEVER'S CONFIDENCE--V. THE BELIEVER'S CONTRAST----1 Pet 2-4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,----1 Pet 2-5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.----1 Pet 2-6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, -Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.-----1 Pet 2-7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious- but to those who are disobedient, -The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,-----1 Pet 2-8 and -A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.- They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.----1 Pet 2-9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light-----1 Pet 2-10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
