Sharon Harvey Davis is the VP of Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer for Ameren. In her role, she is responsible for leading all DEI strategic efforts, including diversity training, employee resource groups, diversity communications, and the executive diversity council. Under Sharon's leadership Amarin has been ranked as one of the nation's top utilities by diversity, Inc for 12 consecutive years. Throughout her 19 years of experience with Ameren, Sharon has seen many changes within the diversity space. She shares some of the developments and progressions that have taken place, both within Ameren and with diversity work overall. Sharon Chamberlain has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Northern Nevada HOPES since August 2011. Under Sharon's leadership, HOPES has undergone a tremendous expansion, from a small HIV service organization serving 600 patients, to a growing community health center that serves over 10,000 men, women, and children in Northern Nevada. Sharon oversaw the construction and opening of HOPES' new 38,000 sq. ft. integrated care facility – The Stacie Mathewson Community Wellness Center – which opened in 2016. Since then, HOPES has expanded its services to include pediatric primary care, x-ray and diagnostics, legal services, financial empowerment coaching, as well as having greatly expanded behavioral health, adult primary care, transportation, and medication delivery services. Prior to serving as CEO of HOPES, Sharon spent the past 20 years serving the HIV/AIDS community. In Santa Monica, California, she spent five years as Executive Director of Common Ground, during which time she was appointed County Commissioner on HIV by the L.A. Board of Supervisors. Before her time in Southern California, Sharon served as Assistant Executive Director for over five years at the HIV Alliance in Eugene, Oregon. Her professional focus on HIV prevention and care services in Oregon resulted in the establishment of the largest needle exchange in the state, the creation of a dental clinic for low income HIV-positive people, and the implementation of rapid testing in non-clinical settings. About HOPES Northern Nevada HOPES is a nonprofit community health center located in downtown Reno, Nevada. HOPES provides integrated medical and wellness services, with a focus on lowering barriers to care for underserved communities. Services offered include adult and pediatric primary care, chronic disease management, behavioral health counseling, substance use counseling, case management, nutrition, pharmacy, transportation, and community outreach and education. HOPES' welcoming and innovative one-stop-shop healthcare model improves access to care for thousands of individuals and families in in northern Nevada.
Sharon Gregory has been striving to make a difference in her community through revitalisation of Noongar language for the last 16 years. Noongar is the local First Language in the south west region of Western Australia, including Perth and Fremantle. She is a Department of Education-trained Indigenous Language teacher. She started her Noongar teaching career at local Primary Schools. Since leaving the Department of Education, Sharon has developed a solid career in Noongar community services, utilising Noongar language and cultural knowledge as a tool for healing. In her spare time, she has also led a Fremantle-based language learning group Waalyalap Waangkaniny for the last eight years. Under Sharon’s guidance, the group aims to share Noongar language and advocate for wider recognition of Indigenous languages. Sharon also runs weekly Noongar classes at the Meeting Place in Freo and has taught at the Fremantle Noongar Cultural Centre and for the City of Cockburn, as well as authoring a Noongar Language dictionary, overseeing Noongar songwriting and undertaking translation for community projects. Sharon Content is the Founder and President of Children of Promise NYC, a community-based organization in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, with a mission to embrace the children of incarcerated parents and empower them to break the cycle of intergenerational involvement in the criminal justice system. Sharon successfully developed a unique and innovative program - the only one of its kind in New York City that now serves 350 children and families per year. Under Sharon’s leadership, Children of Promise NYC has evolved from a small community-based organization to a growing sustainable non-profit that has served more than 1,000 children and families impacted by incarceration. She and the organization have been publicly recognized and honored for its exemplary work. Sharon was the recipient of the prestigious Hidden Heroes Award from the Andrew Goodman Foundation, a New York Post Liberty Medal for Leadership, and the Brooklyn Foundation’s Do Gooder Award. Sharon has been responsible for all aspects of the office since 1992. Under Sharon’s leadership, the GPFO has been responsible for $4 billion of economic impact to the southeastern Pennsylvania region, as it attracts film and TV productions to the region.
