Welcome back Creeps! In this episode of the Creepy Tales Podcast, first up we reached the climax of the story we've been narrating for the last four episodes, A Shadow In The Dark from the Book Ghosts Of The Silent Hills. It was so entertaining to read this story and we had our fair share of scares and laughs. And then we have a weird tale of a Venka Girl, the title doesn't give away a bit of the story and we love it! We end the episode by narrating an awkward scary situation story where a happy news isn't necessarily happy.. Thank you so much for tuning in! We love you ❤ Quick Links: Our Instagram: https://instagram.com/_creepytales_?igshid=ktw11yw1eryz Aditi's vlog channel: https://youtu.be/2lyZxujRWwI
Tired of doom and gloom? Mark delivers happy results! It's the Age of the Pandemic, so we are all Social Distancing! Including podcasts. We may have guests on Skype as soon as next week. This week Mark goes into how he re-tooled Heroteer to help creatives impacted by the pandemic (including Venka). Mark reads a few of his latest Medium articles. Lt. Frank hijacks the interview wrap pod teaser. Drinking at home? Tip your bartender! It's a The90028.com thing - time to understand #apocaTIPS! #NoFearHeroteer Recorded at the Raymond Chandler Memorial Water Closet Sound Booth, Hollywood, CA. Recorded by Mark Roman. Mixed & mastered by Ollie Holliday. UPDATE: Actual title is "Fear & Social Distancing in ... Everywhere" but apparently it was too easy for me to type "Fear & Loathing...". So if you happened to screen grab it, maybe you can sell it for 3 cents on eBay (like that upside down airplane stamp) to financially survive the pandemic. Stay at home! Stay safe!
ElfQuest is a back with an all-new, eight-part series called Stargazer's Hunt! In this episode, David and guest host Tanya Scott-Thomas react to the premiere issue, discussing the art collaboration between Wendy Pini and series artist Sonny Strait, the first glimpse of life on the Starhome, Strongbow's grief, Jink as a child, Venka's parenting choices, and Skywise's loss and fear. Also included is a recap of major events of The Final Quest, news updates on the latest new ElfQuest releases, and a summary of all the ways to purchase and read ElfQuest comics and graphic novels.
Issue #22 of the Final Quest is a pivotal issue not only in the Final Quest series but in the entire 40-year-old ElfQuest saga--so much so that it took us two episodes to discuss it. This is part one. We talk Yun's character development, the importance of High Winds Holt, the WaveDancers' newfound purpose, Old Maggoty's choice, the birth of Venka's child, Leetah's new role and more.

In this episode, we discuss issue #18 of the Final Quest. Lots of big developments in this issue! Cutter completes his latest quest in the Frozen Mountains and we muse on the implications of his powerful apology for both elves and trolls. We also talk about the evolution of Strongbow and Moonshade's troubled relationship, the growing powers of the Palace Dwellers, the poor treatment Two-Edge has received in his long life, Skywise's foibles and Venka's big surprise.
We finally got to see a bit more of the "Scary Ones" in issue #14 of the Final Quest and in this episode of the podcast, we let our imaginations run wild trying to guess what these creatures actually are, and what they mean to do with Cutter. We also chat about Venka's smack-down of Two-Edge, the manifestation of Conehead spirits in the Palace, how Redlance will react to the Scary Ones, what Cutter's dream of the Ten Chiefs could mean, Filcher's death and more!
Well, we finally did it. We recorded an episode of this podcast that is LESS than two hours long! That's not because issue #13 of the Final Quest didn't have a lot going on. We talk about Rayek and Winnowill's mutual manipulation, Venka's wound, Reef's reaction to Winnowill, Cutter's madness, Nightfall's hug, Oddbit's facelift, Sunstream and Korafay's discussion about leaving the World of Two Moons, some interesting thoughts about Dreamtime, and much, much more.
It's our review of The Final Quest #9! Is this the end of the Go-Back tribe as we know it? Venka and company make their way through the troll tunnels with Two-Edge leading the way - what will they discover in the Holt? Moonshade and Strongbow finally separate - but who gets the tree den and custody of the kids? Meanwhile Sunstream might just be the WoTM version of Bill Gates, and Cutter and Skywise literally become 'high' ones as they partake of the delights of dreamberries!
