Also: Willkommen in der Church of Blues. Dass dein Weg, dein Blues, dein Gebet zählt.„It's what the Church of Blues is about.“Darum geht es:Um die Liebe, die wir laut leben.Um den Glauben, der tanzt.Um die Freiheit, die singt.Lasst uns unser Gebet nicht flüstern. Lasst uns unser Gebet schreien.

Bryan Kohberger Case: FBI Veteran Reacts to Bethany Funke's Trauma Breaking updates in the Bryan Kohberger case continue to surface nearly three years after the horrific Idaho Four murders. Newly released footage of surviving roommate Bethany Funke's FBI interview offers an emotional and revealing look inside one of the case's most critical witness statements. Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer, host of Break the Case, gives a powerful analysis of the interview style, Bethany's demeanor, and what this testimony means for the larger investigation. Bethany Funke, who lived at 1122 King Road on the night her roommates were brutally murdered, is seen crying throughout the interview—her voice trembling, her body language withdrawn, her trauma unmistakable. Coffindaffer notes how essential first impressions are in an interview: Bethany appeared terrified yet truthful, showing the hallmarks of someone recounting trauma, not deception. She emphasizes that while Bethany has faced online shaming and baseless blame, the reality is that it is a miracle she survived that night at all. Coffindaffer critiques the FBI process, pointing out the absence of a female agent in the room, the lack of a second interviewer, and the failure to obtain written consent before reviewing Bethany's phone. Yet she praises the interviewer's calm, empathetic approach, describing him as organized, compassionate, and effective in drawing out crucial details without intimidation. The interview's focus on Bethany's phone, social media, and timeline was intentional: investigators needed her cooperation and her sequence of events to determine who could be cleared. Bethany's account ultimately provided her with a strong alibi and solidified investigators' belief that she was not involved in the crime. This newly surfaced material is a stark reminder of the human toll left behind in the wake of Bryan Kohberger's alleged crimes. It also underscores the importance of careful, trauma-informed interviewing in high-profile true crime cases. Recent court documents have unveiled text messages exchanged between the two surviving roommates, Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, during the tragic events of November 13, 2022, in Moscow, Idaho. These messages provide a harrowing glimpse into their experiences that night. At approximately 4:22 a.m., Mortensen texted Funke, expressing confusion over the lack of response from their roommates, stating, "No one is answering." Funke replied with concern, noting that Xana Kernodle had been dressed in all black that evening. Mortensen then described encountering a man wearing a ski mask inside their home, to which Funke urgently responded, advising her to "run."Despite their immediate alarm, the roommates did not contact emergency services until later that morning. Mortensen continued her attempts to reach their roommates, sending a text to Kaylee Goncalves at 10:23 a.m., asking, "Ru up??" When there was no reply, a 911 call was placed over an hour later. The transcript of this call reveals a scene of chaos and confusion, with Mortensen and Funke, along with an unidentified friend, initially reporting Kernodle as unconscious, mentioning her alcohol consumption the previous night. They struggled to provide their address, and the dispatcher concluded the call upon the arrival of emergency responders, without obtaining a complete account of the night's events.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Bryan Kohberger case: Idaho court releases surviving housemates' text messages | Fox NewsBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

Our Belgian connection runs deep, built on shared moments, mutual admiration, and a steady stream of talent that never seems to dry up. The latest to surface is Ben Kamal: Brussels-based DJ, promoter, and soon-to-be label boss. In recent years, Ben has been a staple in clubs like C12, Fuse, and Funke, as well as festivals like Paradise City and Horst. He's carved out a sound that's both precise and personal, equal parts deep, minimal, and melancholic. As a resident of Lola Haro's Small Steps series and curator of nights at bis.club, he's been steadily shaping a mood, a narrative, a space. And with the first release on his new label ov guidance about to drop, featuring a.brehme and signall kommt (aka z@p), that space is about to get even more defined. Listening to the mix Ben made for us feels like watching dusk fold into night in slow motion. The arc is patient, but the details are razor-sharp: fluttering hats, muted basslines, strange shadows between the kick and the silence. There's movement, but it's not linear. It loops, it lingers, it pulls you inward. It's not about big moments, it's about micro-decisions that add up to something more enduring. Call it dusk-lake energy. While some industry voices claim it's all computers now, Turbo Recordings maintain that everything in life can be understood as a "funhouse mirror" Sascha Funke's "MZ" was a massive record for both Funke, Turbo and us come to think of it, all the way back in 2017. A classic, you might call it!  So much so that it's been given the re-rub treatment from a veritable smorgasbord of left-of-centre royalty including  "We have paid access to the halls of European power, where you get to make backroom deals with Emmanuel Macron and British Seinfeld as Opus' “Live is Life” blares over a gigantic bluetooth speaker. And, yeah, you'll probably run into the most celebrated European producers of our time. Pional, Axel Boman, Mano Le Tough, and Roman Flügel — these are the kinds of names you only see once you've reached the highest levels of success, be it in dance music production or purchasing the hottest tickets in town on your favorite mobile device." says Turbo We're premiering the mighty Flügel remix.
