This will be a very unpopular episode. No script, no talking points, just what came to mind when the mic was in front of my face. I know there are loads of other issues, talking points, directions I could've gone in, some things you may want me to say but I didn't. Believe me, I get it. It is a small fragment of what is in my head at the time I hit record, nothing more, nothing less. After all my personal motto for the last 3 years has been: It is what it is... This is it... Here we discuss Daniel Craig's final appearance as Bond James Bond. We recorded this last sunday night, and have been a bit too busy to get to the edit. I just wanted to express how much we enjoy this film and we're happy to be back. For this recording we decided to watch it home so we could take our usual approach to the reviews. We also didn't listen to any other reviews or podcasts on this film. Since recording this episode I have listened to other podcasts and we share similar views on things. I'd like to stress that these are coincidences but I realize there is some over lap. We come by our content honestly but we are a little late to the game. Anywho, bit of a laugh at the very end for those of you who can stick with it till the end. Enjoy! We're Back! And what a great way to return to the podcast, with none other than Mr. Blair Ballard of the Bond Vivant. It was truly truly an honor to sit down and chat with Blair about his channel and also adopting 007 as a role model. We had a lot of fun and it really felt like two friends talking about one of their favorite subjects. I really think that comes through here. I hope you enjoy! We are back this week with our discussion of Spectre. Seems like ages ago since it came out, oh wait.... it was! This film has some really great 007 moments in it that are fantastic. Mexico, some light humor, some cool cars and a pretty stellar train fight. Where does it fall on your list for the Craig films? This is the last of our official 007 films. Hey all. This thing is finally done and only one more film to go! Sorry this is so late getting out but it has been a bananas week for sure. Sadly life and work has to come first. This is a fun one. We talk bad techno, wisdom teeth removal a slew of a bunch of random stuff oh and we also talk Bond and Skyfall! Enjoy! Love this movie!

We are back this week for our discussion of Quantum of Solace. One of the most negatively reviewed films in the series. This one plays into my theory of when Bond films stray too far from what Bond films usually are. Look at Moonraker, or Die Another Day for example. This one is accused of being too "Bourne". We are back this week for our discussion on 2006's Casino Royale. This is the film that brought me to Bond permanently. Daniel Craig was just a powerhouse. He brought a little bit of Sir Sean with him for the ride. You can feel 007's heritage in his performance, while making the role seemingly entirely his own as well. He is a wrecking ball in this film, while still bringing on the charm and sophistication to the role, something every Bond needs. And alongside him, Vesper, one of the best Bond Women we've ever seen. Intelligent, witty, and with a side of deception. One of the more in-depth Bond Women characters we've ever seen. We meet playful and mischievous Rene Mathis, who is right up there with Kerim Bey as far as sidekicks go. Equally as charming and humorous. We are introduced to Le Chiffre, who is menacing in his coolness. And of course, we are also introduced to the coolest Felix Leiter of all the Felixes in Jeffery Wright. This is in my mind the best of the best when it comes to 007. 

Well here we are. The last of the Pierce's. The man did a great job in all his 4 films as 007. I think he was let down by the material. Sad to see him go out on this one. I honestly don't think he got the scripts and directors he deserved. Ah well, we still had a lot of fun on this one and it shows. Here you are folks, our discussion of DAD

Well... we are back. This week we bring you our discussion on The World Is Not Enough. We really weren't sure about how this one would go down. I think between the two of us it is the least watched of the Broso Bond films. Not that there is anything wrong with it. Goldeneye being one of the best and DAD being one of the worst. I guess TND and TWINE just don't get enough attention. Well be that is it may... Enjoy!

Happy New Year everyone. Just taking a minute to say thank you to everyone and talk about how this past year went for us in this new podcasting adventure.

So we've kept you waiting a little while, again, and again. We BOTH work retail and it has been (as usual) a pretty long slog for the both of us leading up to Christmas. So we're sorry for the wait, but we've been just a little busy. That aside, we're back! We watched and conversed over Tomorrow Never Dies! We had a blast working on this one and are happy to say we are back to our normal format on this one. Plot points, ludicrous back and fourths and audio bits snuck in. All the usual stuff. Hope you have fun on this one, we sure did!

Well this one ended up being a bit tricky. My brother kindly came on to discuss GoldenEye with us and the audio was a bust. Sadly we couldn't use it. We tried to re-read our points and then try to splice in the good bits from our initial conversation but it felt too scripted and not genuine enough. So we just had a conversation about it and that is what is here. We will revisit the film maybe at the end of the film reviews once we've had a break from it. That said, sorry for the delay and we hope you enjoy!

We had a technical issue this week and have to put off our review of License to Kill until our next episode. But we did do a review of Casino Royale that was originally broadcasted in 1954. This is just a short one and so is the film. Hope you enjoy! what do you think of our new theme song?

Well we were pleasantly surprised with The Living Daylights, having only seen it once and not at all, were looking forward to it but with nervous trepidation. Also we have a new theme song that is pretty fitting for the podcast. It has almost a 007 theme element but a similar beat to the OHMSS theme. Hope you like it, and our new episode! This may be a little known fact but Korey has an older brother. And for whatever reason he is under the impression that Never Say Never Again is one of the best 007 films. So we gave him an opportunity to state his case and also do an interrogation room episode with us, its not as long as our usual episodes but a slightly longer interrogation room. There are all kinds of controversial topics here; Like the 007's being different men, and Halle Berry being good in Die Another Day. haha not our opinions...don't worry. This was a fun one for us, hope you enjoy it

We're back! we're excited to bring Joe Darlington of Being James Bond along for the ride in this weeks episode: Octopussy or Octo-Joe as I like to call it.Sorry for the delay, its been a pretty rough few weeks. We had a death in our little family. Trixie has passed on 2 weeks ago today. he was 19 years old but died as a result of a complication from feline diabetes. I got him when I was 23, imagine that! He was our best friend and part of our family. We appreciate all the kind messages we've received, it really means a lot. All that aside we hope you enjoy our octopussy episode, it was a total blast to record with Joe, we had a great time. enjoy!

This week's episode features my friend, climbing coach and professional climber Heather Reynolds. Not quite the song you're expecting from Shirley Bassey in the intro... Here is our discussion on Moonraker. We are all over the place on this one, perhaps due to the all over nature of this film... perhaps! Moonraker is essentially 2 films. It is awkward, cool, dark, horrific, stunning and beautiful. It is a crazy one. See what we think. Oh and keep eyes and ears out for one of the most loved soundtracks and possibly some of Ken Adams' set work. enjoy!

So, this is a pretty small episode for some pretty big news! Big news for us, that will likely have no impact on our listeners what so ever. BUT please have a listen and maybe have a drink for us on your behalf. 

Hi everyone! hope you're all hunkered down still and staying healthy. We're introducing a new installment on our show called The Interrogation Room where we Interrogate our guest hosts and withdraw precious intel from the vaults of their minds aka we politely ask them stuff about their lives and lives with Bond. Thank You David once again for coming on. can't thank you enough my friend. 

Well, he is back Ladies and Gentleman. David asked if we would be interested in doing another episode together and of course we agreed. Laughs are many, historical notes are many, drinks were many. Oh man drinks were many, and messy. This one was a lot of fun to do for sure. This one also becomes a Baron Samedi appreciation episode. Geoffrey Holder is so captivating on screen, the man moves like liquid wonderment. Incredible performance. Our first view into Roger's portrayal of Bond, seems like a natural for a first outing. And Jane Seymour as the beautiful Solitaire. Great cast, great film and is that Casey Kasem I see?

This was recorded in the wake of the largest mass shooting in Canadian history. Honestly I wasn't feeling it at first. But it served to be a nice distraction from the headlines. You can tell we're a little distracted at first but then it is business as usual. Trixie makes his first appearance on this episode as well. Hope you're all coping well enough with this Covid mess. Also if you're living here in Nova Scotia, we will get through this together

Well here we have your OHMSS episode and we have our second guest. This one was a lot of fun and huge thrill as we are both VERY big fans of James' comedy. We've seen him perform on stage we laughed til our heads hurt. So good. Join us while we discuss quite possibly the best 007 film with quite possibly the funniest comic in Canada.

We start off belly aching quite a bit but once we get going its all our normal approach. Hope you like this more than we liked Diamonds. :)

SOoOoo this week we are back to our regular scheduled programming. We are discussing You Only Live Twice. This one was fun, there are piranhas, romulans, ninjas, spacecrafts, and like 2 or 3 different styles of monorails! Hope you enjoy it!   

So continues our saga of slightly flawed audio. Still learning, sorry about that. Regardless we had a lot of fun with this one. We asked our slightly newish friend David Zaritsky of The Bond Experience to come tag along on this recording. We know David is a big fan of this one so it seemed like a perfect fit. He fits in almost as well as Sean Connery's pink booty shorts. I mean come on, nothing or no one fits quite as well as Sean's shorts do. We ran a little longer than normal but regardless, we hope you enjoy!
