I once heard someone put it so succinctly that “all sin is judged; either in hell…or on the cross.” That statement is profound when you think about it. The wrath of God is poured out on the unjust and ungodly… sinners! Hell, which was made for Satan and his angels, unfortunately will be unnecessarily shared by those who choose to reject the freely-given life of Christ and align themselves with Satan through unbelief and the rejection of his purchased salvation. Those however, who have received the life of Christ and been made alive by His finished work on the cross of Calvary are not appointed unto wrath…because Jesus has paid it all for them! Hallelujah! Where then is judgement? On today's episode of WHICH ONE, we discuss how the unbeliever's judgement is based on their own work and is unto damnation. Sadly.But the believer's judgement is founded on the finished work of Jesus and our judgement is unto reward for how we co-labor with Christ after being brought into his family. We don't work to be saved…but we work BECAUSE we are saved. May the eyes of our understanding be enlightened and more of Christ be revealed to us in Jesus name!
