Hi friends, welcome back to the BuildShipRepeat podcast with Yulin and her friends. Today, we had an amazing discussion with our lovely friend Sneha about her story of becoming a software engineer even when it was never her plan to start with! Then, we discussed a little bit more about women in tech, and how to work in a tech environment.I would like to highlight one part of the conversation where she mentioned that "it is a really good sign when you see women in upper management as they are truly role models for you to understand that we, as women can succeed. Also, it shows that the company does care about female progression."The reason I particularly concur with this statement is that in my "not so long" journey in the tech space, I have rarely encountered female "upper-management" product managers, and when you do see that they exist, it does make a difference.
