The first thing I said to Nellie Scott, Executive Director of the Corita Art Center in downtown Los Angeles that preserves and promotes Corita Kent's art, teaching, and passion for social justice, was that I wish we didn't need to do this. I wish Corita Kent's work had already done its work, that the world was free of oppression, racism, inequality, chaos and fear. Maybe Nellie and I could just talk about love and a butterfly, the upcoming showing of Kent's work at Andrew Kreps and kaufmann repetto in NYC this month. But the times they are a'changing and oh how they stay the same. The new Corita Art Center opened in March and since, Pope Francis has passed, the structure of democracy in America has been bent to a near breaking point and art has an act of protest and social awareness is struggling to find its footing. So, it's time for Corita Kent once again. In this conversation on the Radio Juxtapoz podcast produced by the Unibrow, Nellie Scott speaks of the founding of the Center in 1997 and its association with the Immaculate Heart Community, how Corita Kent went from entering the religious order Immaculate Heart of Mary at age 18, to championing civil rights, anti-war activism, and peace, through her unique aesthetic of printmaking. She left the order in 1968 and moved to Boston, where she continued to make work. Her art, and her life, was devoted to finding a deep understanding of the human experience, through teaching and creating. Corita left behind a great legacy that continues to reverberate - at the time of her death in 1986, Corita had created almost 800 serigraph editions and thousands of watercolours, alongside public and private commissions. From Boston to Los Angeles, Corita's life is a truly inspired story. The Unibrow's Radio Juxtapoz podcast is hosted by Juxtapoz editor, Evan Pricco. Episode 163 was recorded at the Corita Art Center in Los Angeles in late April 2025. Original music by Aesop Rock for Radio Juxtapoz

New York Times Bestselling author Allison Pataki joins me on the show today to talk about her latest release, Finding Margaret Fuller. We discussed Margaret's place in history, the many famous transcendentalist writers she was connected to, and her influence on the U.S. feminist movement. We also talked about Allison's research process, including her visit to Concord and Walden Pond and how real historical figures morph into a characters in her novels. Here's a description of the novel: Massachusetts, 1836. Young, brazen, beautiful, and unapologetically brilliant, Margaret Fuller accepts an invitation from Ralph Waldo Emerson, the celebrated “Sage of Concord,” to meet his coterie of enlightened friends shaping a nation in the throes of its own self-discovery. By the end of her stay, she will become “the radiant genius and fiery heart” of the Transcendentalists, a role model to young Louisa May Alcott, an inspiration to Nathaniel Hawthorne's character of Hester Prynne and the scandalous Scarlet Letter, a friend to Henry David Thoreau as he ventures into the woods of Walden Pond . . . and a muse to Emerson himself. But Margaret craves more than poetry and interpersonal drama, and she finds her restless soul in need of new challenges and adventure. And so she charts a singular course against a backdrop of dizzying historical drama: From Boston, where she hosts a women-only literary salon for students like Elizabeth Cady Stanton; to the editorial meetings of The Dial magazine, where she hones her pen as its co-founder; to Harvard's library, where she is the first woman to study within its walls; to the gritty New York streets where she spars with Edgar Allan Poe and reports on the writings of Frederick Douglass. Margaret defies conventions time and again as an activist for women and an advocate for humanity, earning admirers and scathing critics alike. When the legendary Horace Greeley offers an assignment in Europe, Margaret again makes history as the first female foreign news correspondent, mingling with luminaries like Frederic Chopin, Walt Whitman, George Sand, and more. But it is in Rome where she finds a world of passion, romance, and revolution, taking a Roman count as a lover—and sparking an international scandal. Evolving yet again into the roles of mother and countess, Margaret enters a new fight for Italy's unification. With a star-studded cast and epic sweep of historical events, this is a story of an inspiring trailblazer, a woman who loved big and lived even bigger—a fierce adventurer who transcended the rigid roles ascribed to women, and changed history for millions, all on her own terms. And, on today's episode, we share an interview from our Writing Club with Jaime Jamgochian. Sitting down to talk with Jaime, you quickly realize she is a woman of faith who God is using in many different ways through her music and message. It's immediately evident she has a passion to see people know how much God loves them and a desire to see that reality change their lives—because it has changed hers. Jaime came to know the Lord at 21 while studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. God completely changed her life and it is her greatest desire to see people encounter Jesus in a real way. From Boston, Jaime ended up in Seattle where she was a worship leader for several years and began writing her own worship songs. It was during that time in Seattle that Jaime signed with Centricity Records and went on to record 3 albums with them. She then moved to Nashville, TN which she still calls home, and continues to travel throughout the US and internationally leading people in worship, singing songs of hope, and sharing a message of finding your value and purpose in Christ.Take the Songwriter Personality TestThis simple 10-minute test created by our founder, Krissy Nordhoff, will help you know your strengths as a songwriter and it will also help you better identify where you fit in the co-writing room. From Boston to Oregon and back: we're talking about Ben Affleck's directorial efforts. Do we classify Ben as an auteur? Are we suckers for capitalist propaganda? Why isn't Casey in more of these movies? Plus: YA THINK YA BETTER THAN ME?
From Boston mobster to FBI informant. This might be one of our most interesting guys who had a tragic ending.

When we enquire by what means this wonder is effected, we shall find, that, as Force is always on the side of the governed, the governors have nothing to support them but opinion. It is therefore, on opinion only that government is founded; and this maxim extends to the most despotic and most military governments, as well as to the most free and most popular. The soldan of Egypt, or the emperor of Rome, might drive his harmless subjects, like brute beasts, against their sentiments and inclination: But he must, at least, have led his mamalukes, or prætorian bands, like men, by their opinion.DOUGLAS QUOTE: But a change has now come over the affairs of mankind. Walled cities and empires have become unfashionable. The arm of commerce has borne away the gates of the strong city. Intelligence is penetrating the darkest corners of the globe. It makes its pathway over and under the sea, as well as on the earth. Wind, steam, and lightning are its chartered agents. Oceans no longer divide, but link nations together. From Boston to London is now a holiday excursion. Space is comparatively annihilated. -- Thoughts expressed on one side of the Atlantic are distinctly heard on the other. The far off and almost fabulous Pacific rolls in grandeur at our feet. The Celestial Empire, the mystery of ages, is being solved. The fiat of the Almighty, "Let there be Light," has not yet spent its force. No abuse, no outrage whether in taste, sport or avarice, can now hide itself from the all-pervading light.SELECTED WIMBERLY QUOTES: - Most individuals are quick to note that they are no dupes and harbor many suspicious and critical thoughts about propaganda. But, in trying to evaluate the impact of propaganda, it has to be remembered that propagandists have almost no interest in the individual. Propagandists focused on mass subjectivities—human beings in their collective social relationships and actions. It is perfectly possible that an individual might feel as an individual that she is critical and little impacted by propaganda: after all, does not she know that it is all smoke and mirrors? However, what we are judging is not what the individual thinks but what the public does. An individual may think whatever she wants, but if in her collective actions (e.g., as an 18- to 34-year-old television watcher, an automobile consumer, or a corporate or university worker) she acts in the collective fashion the propagandists create (e.g., watches the television, buys a nice midsized SUV, or completes the university administration–mandated course assessment work), then what do the rebellious thoughts of the individual matter to the propagandist who is measuring TV viewership, automobile sales, or how well a university serves its core customer base? Put otherwise, the propagandist seeks to forge mass subjectivities, which it calls the publics, to carry out the conduct their clients want, not to focus on the beliefs of individuals: “Very frequently propaganda is described as a manipulation for the purpose of changing ideas or opinions… . This is completely wrong… . The aim of modern propagandist is no longer to modify ideas, but to provoke action.”If the terms of mass subjectivities, large groupings of psychologically bonded individuals, give no room for those individual rebellions to crystallize into collective social action but instead reliably lead to the conduct corporations want, then one can perfectly well feel as an individual untouched, critical, or even radicalized but nonetheless still remain massively governed. In fact, isn't it all the better that individuals believe themselves ungoverned, critical, and unaffected if that results in complacency and a lack of motivation for action? The point is that the thoughts of the individual and the conduct of the publics have to be distinguished: though one might feel critical as an individual, the question is how social and public relationships of subjects are constituted and conduct themselves. If a radical still buys the dress, movie ticket, or 12-piece dinner set, what does it matter that it is a radical who buys it when there is no room for that radicalism to manifest itself in the public? Propagandists would tell us that the appropriateness of the language of subjectification versus modification has to be judged at the level of the conduct of the public, not at the level of the thoughts of the individual.- Certainly, authors like Stanley (epistemological interpretation) and Marcuse (ideological interpretation) are both correct insofar as propaganda does lie and repress. However, I will argue that these functions are subsidiaries of a much more threatening function of propaganda: its ability to shape human beings' “body and soul and spirit” in the quest to produce the relationships that would sustain corporate growth.1The stakes in misinterpreting propaganda are high. If you take propaganda to present a problem of belief, then the solution is to replace false belief with true. If you take propaganda to be ideological, covering over true human desire with false and destructive desires, then the solution is to recover true desire and banish the chimera of the false. Both of these ways of interpreting propaganda place true belief or true desire as the untouched savoir of contemporary life; the true remains present and unaltered whatever the deceptions propagandists foment and it is the critic's job to recover them. But if the aim of propaganda is to produce new subjects who will cooperatively and spontaneously adopt the wanted relationships with corporations, then there is no going back: the subject is not deceived but transformed, and the task of combatting propaganda will not be best conceived as a project of enlightenment but of subjectivation. The future will have to be created by producing new subjects and not through recovering what has been supposedly hidden but is better described as lost. Without grasping the impact of propaganda, attempts to counter it are unlikely to be effective.- For instance, when Bernays wanted to get women to smoke Lucky Strikes, he had to change not only the image of cigarettes but also the self-image of the women who would smoke them. Bernays and psychoanalyst A. A. Brill determined that women would smoke if cigarettes if women viewed themselves as crusaders for liberation and the cigarette was positioned as a symbol of equality, freedom, and pleasure. To get women to smoke, Bernays guided women into thinking of smoking as an act of defiance and empowerment that would make them revolutionaries. Every woman could conceive of herself as contributing to women's liberation, just by smoking a Lucky Strike. Bernays kicked off this campaign on Easter Sunday in 1929, when he recruited women to break the law against public smoking by women in New York by smoking Lucky Strikes in the Easter Day Parade. He used this symbolic gesture to link smoking to the liberation of choice, pleasure, and voice and as an act of resistance against patriarchy. Feminist Ruth Hale encouraged women to join in, saying, “Women! Light another torch of freedom! Fight another sex taboo!”72 The aim was to get women to regard themselves and cigarettes differently such that women would form the relationship to cigarettes that Lucky Strike wanted (e.g. as avid and fierce consumers)...Bernays wanted to redirect drives—the true drives—to point at new ends; he did not falsify desires but rechanneled them from their source. He created objects of desire as true as any by working with their unconscious sources. Thanks to our monthly supporters Michael de Nijs ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
My guest today is the first guest invited back to the podcast. Why is that, you ask? Well, he was the first guest ever on My First Season just over two years ago, but back then, I stuck to the script. Meaning, we only talked about his first season and none of the other 10 seasons or more that he did. He was kind enough to be a test subject of sorts for my podcast, and like all things, My First Season has only evolved from that very first interview with him. He has agreed to come back to the podcast and talk about his other seasons and make you laugh your butts off! From Boston, Massachusetts, now living in Montreal, please help me welcome back to My First Season, James “Joker” Cradle!! I have known Joker for 23 years now and counting and we met on the dock in beautiful Lindeman Island, Australia in 2000 for the very first time. Joker worked for Club Med from 1997 to 2005. He worked in villages such as Cancun, Huatulco, Cefalu, Moorea, Foca, Paradise Island, Punta Cana, and Ixtapa. You want funny stories?! Joker has them!! From getting a nasty head injury during a show in Moorea to the famous “Singles Mingles” cruise in Lindeman Island (The CDV sent me on the cruise to control Joker's enthusiasm). How did that turn out? Like you'd expect! From the Kusadasi (Greg) versus Foca (Joker) G.O. volleyball game during the summer of 2001 to a Razor scooter wipe-out at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island to an interesting choice of dress (or lack thereof) for the Christmas party at Hendel's place in Cancun in December 2004, it's all here!! Joker mentions a lot of people from the past that he enjoyed working with, his three favorite Crazy Signs of all time (Tiffany?!), and the three things he misses most about working at Club Med. Hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane with Joker!! **My First Season podcast has always been ad-free and free to listen to and is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Samsung Podcasts, Podbean App, Spotify, Amazon Music/Audible, TuneIn + Alexa, iHeartRadio, PlayerFM, Pandora and Listen Notes. And if you like what you hear, please leave a review at Apple podcasts. This is the video (part 1) where France's Woman's Olympic Beach Volleyball team handed our butts to me and Joker in Lindeman Island, Australia on September 3, 2000: CM Lindeman Island-Sept 3 2000-Beach VB Part 1 - YouTube And, if you want to listen to the first ever "My First Season" interview with Joker, see below: My First Season-Joker | My First Season
GUEST OVERVIEW: Gina Castiello is a grandmother who went from making meatballs to a boots-on-the-ground grassroots political activist fighting for freedom. Once she started going to community meetings, God handed this warrior her instructions. Realizing that her grandchildren's futures were being systematically destroyed by the very people who were supposed to be making them better, she started digging deeper and didn't like what she found. From Boston's Orwellian Human Rights Council to the Boston City Council, she learned who was behind things like flying the Communist China flag on City Hall Plaza (but not a Christian flag) to a sculpture of Baal on Revere Beach, and Gina joined with others to oppose them.
In S2Ep21 of the PRP, Adam is enlightened by thriving long distance runner, passionate golfer, engineering extraordinaire, forthright beer enthusiast and proud father, Hayato Shimizu who has been preparing for the New York City Marathon on November 6th, 2022. The lads waste no time and jump straight in to an in depth review of what has been an insanely impressive year for Hayato and his running career. With a broken PR in nearly every possible distance, the PRP listenership is schooled by Hayato's composed and uninhibited outlook on the sport. His secret? Work hard, but don't overthink it, it's that simple. The more pressure you put on yourself, the less enjoyment you will ultimately obtain. Committing yourself to the process and sharing your experiences with others are where the actual awards and benefits from running can be found. The time your watch reads at the finish line is actually quite trivial. Paul Livingstone, seasoned runner, local running gear merchant, aspiring brewer and one of Hayato's oldest running pals joins the show to offer his take on what the PRP has deemed, The Year of Hayato. From Boston, to Bayshore and now onto New York these two gentlemen have shared a lot of time out on the course in 2022 together and one thing is for certain... Hayato is absolutely on fire at the moment! Hayato sheds light on his journey to and through running over the past decade and shares his unique approach to how he builds his fitness blocks. For him, running is a pursuit of exploring the best version of yourself and is a journey of one. Before episode close, Hayato and Paul gossip all things Boston vs. New York. Because each of them have raced these events multiple times, they share a distinct credibility to offer opinions on all things from portapotty sitch, starting line logistics, time of year/temperature to overall vibe. New York or Boston, who do ya got? What on earth is Ekiden?! What the hell happened in Boston in 2017? Is Hayato throwing down impromptu 100m dashes to defend his honor? What exactly is Kendo?! Wait wait wait, CAN HAYATO DUNK?! Does Hayato just want to be just like Eduardo when he grows up? What are the Abbott World Majors?? Ummm, creamy peanut butter on an everything bagel? All of this and loads more to chew on in this educational and inspiring episode of the PRP! My guest today and I met in Club Med Cancun in 2004 where I was working and she was a G.M. Her first season, as an au pair, was in Club Med Paradise Island in February of 1986 as a Snorkeling G.O. From Boston, and now living in Arizona, please help me welcome to MFS, Dee “Keri” Nicholson! Keri has a rather unique story as she started working for Club Med straight out of high school. She received a trip to Club Med St. Lucia in December of 1985 as a graduation gift from her mother, the week it opened no less. But after a few minor setbacks from the opening week, the guests were offered a free stay at another CM resort. That is how Keri found herself as an au pair in Paradise Island. Keri's Club Med stories sound like they are straight out of 80's disaster movies as well: A huge tropical storm hit Paradise Island in 1986 flooding the theater pit with fish! Another storm hit Club Med Playa Blanca the Summer of 1986, sinking all the boats, and the 1987 5.9 magnitude Whittier Narrows earthquake aftershocks were felt all the way in Club Med Sonora Bay where Keri was a Snorkeling/Silk Screen Arts G.O. Keri also had the fortune of working for the greatest Chief of Sports ever (and one of my most favorite people in the world), Hansel Moss! In February of 2002, Keri also worked in the Club Med Sales office in Scottsdale, Arizona. After Club Med, Keri pulled a Van Wilder and attended both Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University for several years, with a double B.A. in Art & History with five (count ‘em five) minors! She later then obtained a Master's degree in English history. **My First Season podcast has always been free to listen to (and add-free)and is available on: Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Podbean App, Spotify, Amazon Music/Audible, TuneIn + Alexa, iHeartRadio, PlayerFM, Pandora and Listen Notes. . Title: A Penny Saved, A Penny Earned and the Last Bet of Benjamin FranklinDescription: Today we are joined by Michael Meyer, author of Benjamin Franklin's Last Bet. Benjamin Franklin died in 1790, but his legacy lives on to this day. One particularly important part of his legacy is a trust he left to the people of Boston and Philadelphia. This trust grew financially, but like much of Benjamin Franklin's history, it is not well known.Original Publication Date: Learn More About our Guest:Michael Meyer, Author of Benjamin Franklin's Last Bethttps://inmanchuria.com/You can learn more about Beyond the Big Screen and subscribe at all these great places:www.atozhistorypage.comwww.beyondthebigscreen.comClick here to support Beyond the Big Screen!https://www.subscribestar.com/beyondthebigscreenhttps://www.patreon.com/beyondthebigscreenClick to Subscribe:https://www.spreaker.com/show/4926576/episodes/feedemail: steve@atozhistorypage.comwww.beyondthebigscreen.comhttps://www.patreon.com/historyofthepapacyParthenon Podcast Network Home:parthenonpodcast.comOn Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/groups/atozhistorypagehttps://www.facebook.com/HistoryOfThePapacyPodcasthttps://twitter.com/atozhistoryMusic Provided by:"Crossing the Chasm" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Image Credits:Begin Transcript:Thank you again for listening to Beyond the Big Screen podcast. I thank you for joining me again, Beyond the big Screen.Benjamin Franklin[00:00:00] I am very excited to have Michael Meyer on the show today to talk about, uh, one of the largest and most charismatic characters in American history. Benjamin Franklin, Michael Meyer is author of Benjamin Franklins. Last bet. The favorite founding fathers, divisive death, and during afterlife and blueprint for American prosperity.Michael is the author of numerous books and articles. He was a Fulbright scholar and a professor. And is a professor of nonfiction writing at the university of Pittsburgh. Thank you, Michael so much for joining me to talk about the amazing life and afterlife of Benjamin Franklin. It's an honor to be here. Thanks for having me. I have a, kind of a personal story about some of the things you've talked about. I lived in Philadelphia for a while and I would walk by Benjamin Franklin's grave almost [00:01:00] every day to meet my. For a work and it just almost became like a normal thing. I think a good place to start is what's maybe the standard telling if you had to tell somebody who's maybe not from the U S and give them a broad overview of who is Benjamin Franklin. That's a great question. He was large and contain multitudes. Um, you know, you can divide his, like he lived quite a long time, you know, he's, he, he straddled the 18th century, so he was 84 years old and the first 42 years of his life are devoted to business and he's, you know, he would never call himself self-made he was an autodidact for sure.Uh, you know, apprentice in a print shop and in his father's candle making shop in Boston fled his brother. Got down to Philadelphia on a boat. Um, and then, you know, became the legendary Benjamin Franklin worked as a printer, um, benefited greatly from his wife's, uh, assistance and her [00:02:00] family. Um, and as he was being an entrepreneur in Philadelphia with his print shop and starting the Pennsylvania Gazette newspaper, which became the.The newspaper and the colonies and poor Richard's Almanac. Um, he's also tinkering, he's an inveterate tinkerer. He's always looking to improve things around his house. Um, he invents things as you know, various as, uh, the lightning rod, the catheter. Swim fins. Um, he invents a musical instrument called the harmonium. He perfects the odometer. And I think one thing really interesting about him is that he refused, there was no patent office at that time, but he could have applied for a exclusive commercial license for his inventions, but he felt very strongly that as we benefit from the technology, others. Others should benefit from our own technology. And so I think we could credit him as a forerunner of the open source movement as well. So at age 42, he retires from business [00:03:00] and he decides to devote himself almost wholly to philanthropy and starts a great number of charitable causes that you walking around Philadelphia could still see. Uh, the Pennsylvania hospital is still there. The Philadelphia academy, which became the university of Pennsylvania is still there. The American philosophical society is still there. The great library next to independence hall, and then find the last act of Franklin's life is he becomes a diplomat. Um, he spent nearly 30 years of his life as she is his older years overseas living in either London or in Paris.Uh, the latter time, you know, lobbying on behalf to try to attract French support for. Uh, the war, um, and then, you know, his last dying act, he had two great. Penn strokes to end his life. The first was he presented the first petition for the abolishment of slavery to the Senate. Franklin was a slave owner. His family held up to seven slaves, uh, that worked in his print shop and around the house, um, uniquely among founders. Old people in [00:04:00] general, he became more progressive as he aged, um, and realized that that, that his slave owning was, uh, a mark on his, on his legacy. And he wanted to repudiate that. And of course, after fighting for Liberty, it was hypocritical to say, well, we should still have the slave trade in the liberated United States. That was one thing he did. The second thing he did, which we're going to talk about today is he added a final codicil to his will. Um, uh, a dying bet as. On the survival of working class trades people for the next 200 years, it's really interesting that he was born in Boston in the early 17 hundreds. And then he moved to Philadelphia and those are two areas that had really stark different, uh, cultures and just everything. It's almost like a moving to a foreign country in a lot of ways for him. One made Franklin move from. From Boston [00:05:00] to Philadelphia, he was in denture to his older brother and he hated the work he wanted to get out of it so badly. And so a couple of years into his indenture dump in dentures, um, he fled, he ran away.It was illegal at time, but he still broke, uh, the bond. Uh, he hoped to go to New York city. That was the thought in New York was smaller than Philadelphia at the time. Um, Broadway was still a cattle trail if, if, if it even existed at that time, but he ended up continuing onward to Philadelphia, which you're right. These are polar opposites. These towns, you know, Boston known for its academies, um, for its genteel society, very old England sort of sore, you know, Puritan driven. Whereas Philadelphia was a bustling. And became the largest city in the United States and the colonial America as well while Franklin was living there. And then in the United States, much more diverse, uh, much more entrepreneurial in spirit, you know, in the book, I talk about how you can [00:06:00] trace a lot of the men who knew Franklin's father, you know, a hundred years ago, those descendants were the new mayors of Boston. You know, the Quincy's Quincy, the fourth and Quincy.Whereas in Philadelphia, you know, the person they elected to serve as mayor 16 times was a person who, uh, professed hated learning and had apprentice as a Hatter. It was just a very, very different, um, a very, very different backdrop. You're right. And I think had, had Franklin stayed in Boston. He couldn't have become the entrepreneur inventor.Um, and diplomat, you know, sort of statesman that he became, he also spent some time in London. What did, uh, what was he doing in London? How did he get to London? And what did that maybe add to his character? I think, you know, how did they get to London the first time around? It was really carelessness when he was a young man that had, had landed in Philadelphia.

Mike and Jolene Varney have been together since they were kids in rural Iowa. Jolene's dad was Mike's Little League baseball coach. From the time they were 16, through both attending the University of Iowa, and both having careers in the corporate world - Mike in operations, Jolene in finance - they grew accustomed to moving about every 2 years. From Boston to London to DFW, they've "been everywhere, man." (cue the Johnny Cash song) During their stint in Massachusetts, they began to invest in real estate, residential and commercial. To the tune of 38 properties. Then a move to DFW presented new challenges of managing properties miles away. Prior to 2020 (and the Pandemic), the couple decided it was time to liquidate their holdings in Massachusetts for someplace new - perhaps a place where they'd like to spend more time. Enter serendipity where Mike finds out about a place he'd never heard of, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Armed with capital from the sale of their NE properties, the couple made a trip to Hot Springs Village to check it out. Within 2 days they had bought their first house inside the Village, a house where they hope to spend more time. It's a spectacular home.
