Mini - Sode #1 The Disappearance of Kiera Bergman In the early afternoon of August 4th, 2018, Kiera Bergman disappeared. Kiera's family doesn't know what to believe of the twisted stories by those close to Kiera in Glendale, AZ, where she had only been living for several months.  Kiera Bergman is 19 years old, Kiera is biracial, she is 5’3” tall, she weighs about 145 lbs, she had black hair and brown eyes, and in most of her pictures, she is wearing glasses. We don’t know if she had them on when she went missing. Episode 33 The Search for the Kansas College Rapist One person is responsible for at least 15 attacks which resulted in over a dozen brutal rapes since 2000 in two Kansas college towns. After almost ten years, police decided the rapist must have "moved on" or gotten sick but they were wrong. The assailant turned up again in 2015, just as desperate to attack but now he knows the police have his DNA, so what's a rapist to do in this day and age with tools like the MVAC and high definition real-time surveillance cameras? Apparently, for the time being, his pattern is changing. Is he cognizant of the high probability that it's only a matter of time before police come knocking, just as they did for other violent pervs who never thought they'd get caught?  Police are not relying on forensics. Episode 32 The Disappearance of Fisheries Observer Keith Davis Keith Davis was an observer, a biologist who took on the duty of observing fisheries around the world to report on compliance, safety, and more. It is a dangerous job, not only because work at sea is inherently treacherous, but also because observers are often considered a threat to the livelihood of many crew and captains. Despite his professional demeanor and long history of working well with crews on these vessels, something went terribly wrong on a voyage off the coast of Peru in 2015. Keith Davis disappeared. No formal investigation has ever produced answers, so an effort is being made to undertake a private investigation, with possible political implications. The international fisheries business is behind major environmental threats but still, illegal fishing continues unchecked, endangering not only our ecosystem, but the socioeconomic stability of entire continents, not to mention the daily safety concerns to workers involved in this industry. Episode 28 The Murders of Cheryl Baker, Nadja Medley, and Payton Medley Mike Bullinger is wanted for the murders of Cheryl Baker, Nadja Medley, and Nadja's young daughter, Payton Medley in early June of 2017, He had a two week long head start before the authorities began searching for him. Bullinger is 61 years old, and when he went on the run, he had gray hair, brown eyes, was six ft one, and about 240 lbs. He likes motorcycles, planes, hunting, guns, horses, and the outdoors. He also likes to lie and cheat. He is a master manipulator, and somewhat of a chameleon, so check out his picture and keep an eye out for him. Episode 23 MISSING Donald Cavanaugh and David Neily In the mid-2000s, two men suspiciously disappeared right after a local ranch owner becamed angered at each of them. The first, Donald Cavanaugh, disappeared in March of 2005. He was the uncle of the temperamental James Denoyer, on whose 20 acre Californai ranch several horses were languishing, and after securing 14 of Donald's horses, James decided he no longer had a need for the 63 year old heart patient. The second man, artist and metal worker David Neily, was introduced to Denoyer by his son, Ryan, who was employed by Denoyer's construction business. David disappeared in April of 2006 during an investigation of Denoyer for animal cruelty. David's family reported that Denoyer had threatened Ryan Neily, and had accused 69 year old David of alterting Animal Services to the squalid conditions under which the horses lived and died on Denoyer's ranch. The men disappeared after each had told someone they were on their way to the ranch to retreive their items from Denoyer's property, and there has never been a trace of them seen or heard from since. Episode 21   The Murder of Paitin Fields   April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month!   Early in the morning of November 13th, 2017, a child was brought into the Emergency Room at the small Pender County Hospital. It was five year old Paitin Fields, and the Emergency room staff was told that she had been found unresponsive.   It didn’t take long for staff to deduce they were not equipped to handle Paitin’s injuries, so after stabilizing her as best as they could, they sent her to nearby New Hanover Regional Medical Center, which is located in the historic city of Wilmington NC, and is about a 35 minute drive. After sending little Paitin on her way, a nurse called the Pender County Sheriff’s Office. The time was 5:43 AM. “I have a five year old that was brought in who is now intubated and headed to New Hanover, with what strongly appears to be strangulation marks on her neck.” Little Paitin never regained consciousness, and she died on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017. Attention! Another candle light vigil for Paitin is scheduled for 7 PM April the 28th , 2018  Pender County Courthouse If you live in NC and are sick and tired of the corruption and secrecy, come to this event. If you are a witness to any sort of child abuse, or if a child confides in you that they are being abused... or if you yourself are being abused, please don’t be afraid to report it. Authorities can’t do anything about it if they don’t know about it. You can call 911 if it’s an emergency, and if it isn’t, call the police. They can create a preliminary report and notify the appropriate agency. If you’d like someone to talk to about any issues related to child abuse, there is help at the National Child Abuse Hotline. 1-800 422-4453. If you are being abused, you have options. First make sure you are not being monitored. If you can safely call, dial the National domestic violence hotline at 800-799-7233. To chat, online, go to www.thehotline.org. Please don’t forget, the National Domestic Violence hotline is not just for women. It’s for anyone facing issues associated with domestic violence! If you are looking for resources, that phone number and website can also help you, even by providing information on what services are available in your locality. Also, we have a couple of BOLOs this week:   Michael A Cornish. He had an open warrant out on him for child abuse with serious bodily injury on a child under the age of 12. He’s on the run, and authorities think he may be in New Hanover County, NC. He was last known to have been driving a green 1994 Saturn SL2 with the license place number EBD7861. Anyone with information should call Goldsboro police at 919-705-6572 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.   William “bill” Roegner and his lady friend, Penny Holt, out of Putnam County WV. Penny Holt is only wanted for questioning in Roegner’s case.  Now he is facing a LOT of charges related to the sexual abuse of three children over the course of several years. Now the cops are saying this guy is armed and dangerous, and he has already made threats to law enforcement. As a matter of fact, he should know how dangerous that is since he is a former law enforcement officer himself. Episode 19 The Murder of Wendy Madden Wendy Madden was 23 years old when she was murdered and left behind a now-demolished little neighborhood bar. Can you help cold case investigators bring her killer to justice? Why would anyone want to hurt this beautiful young woman? Join us as we head North on I-95, up to Pawtucket, Rhode Island. We're going to pull off on Exit 30. On March 11th, 1991, Wendy set out to walk to the store on a cold Monday night. She said she was going to get cigarettes from a place called Store 24, which is now called ABC Liquors. She was last seen near the intersection of Rail Road Street and Cross Street. Wendy's body was found on March 13th behind Jan's Place, a bar which has now been torn down and is just a grassy lot, dedicated to storing somebody's covered RV. Wendy has not had justice for 27 years. She would be old enough to have grandkids right now. She has missed out on so many of life's joys.  Detective Cormier has come so far in her search, from digging out old undeveloped negatives to getting samples tested for DNA. Episode 17 The murders of Emily Quijano and Gabriel Almiron September 8th, 2015 was a normal day in Orem, Utah except for one thing. That was last anyone ever saw or heard from Emily Quijano or her young son, Gabriel Almiron. Emily's boyfriend, Christopher Poulson told police and anyone else who would listen that he had to kick Emily out because he couldn't tolerate her use of drugs in their shared apartment.  That might have been the end of this missing persons story if it had only been Emily who was missing, but cops had a three year old child to find. Welcome to the fourth episode of our series on the I-95 corridor in North Carolina. Someone spent years preying on the vulnerable women of East Rocky Mount, NC. After several women were found murdered, and one still missing, authorities finally prosecuted a suspect for one of the murders, that of Tara Nicholson. The rest of the cases are still open and up to $20,000 in reward money continues to be offered for information leading to the ultimate conviction of the killer of the women of Edgecombe County, many of which were dumped off Seven Bridges Road. This is the first episode in a series about mysterious disappearances, murder, and other crimes, along the 1-95 corridor communities of North Carolina.  Today, we talk first about Rhonda Jones, Kristin Bennett, and Meagan Oxendine. The FBI is offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to the killer/s of these women.   Then we bring you the stories of Cynthia Jacobs, Eric Montreal Evans, and Abby Patterson. There is also reward money available if you know what happened to any of these persons. Lumberton is a small town. Why are there so many mysterious disappearances and deaths? Why can't police seem to solve these cases?  Some say it's police corruption, and they are covering for someone. Some say a serial killer is and has been on the loose in Lumberton for decades. Some blame the victims themselves. Others say each case is different. Could there be several killers in Lumberton?   Hopefully the FBI can sort this out. Let us know what you think. It is now a homicide investigation. We will continue providing updates as more news comes in.  Our condolences to the family of Kimberlee Graves. Khalil White has been charged with Kimberlee's murder. We will keep you updated as justice is administered.
