In this 4-part series we will take a closer look at the temptations Jesus faced in order to identify the driving forces behind the temptations we face every day. Once we realize what is behind temptation, and what is at stake every time we're tempted, we can find the confidence to respond as Jesus did.

One of the most famous quotes in history is, “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” What if we approached life & the Church this way? What if we didn’t just ask what can the Church do for me, but began to ask what can I do for the Church? We all have needs that we want met and times we need to be ministered to, but what if life isn’t about just getting our needs met? We cannot be the Church God has called us to be without you doing your part, so in this series we are simply going to ask you the question, “WILL YOU ________?” *This message ask Will You Share The Gospel?

Everyone dreams of being a hero—to act courageously and decisively in the most difficult of situations. God’s Word is filled with the stories of heroic men and women of history whose stories have been recorded in Scripture for us to learn from. In these stories we constantly see were God takes ordinary people and does extraordinary things through them. While it may seem unrealistic and far-fetched to think we could ever be like one of these heroes, the truth is that we all will face defining moments throughout our life when opportunities to act heroically arrive at our doorstep. The only question is when the moment arises, how will we respond?

The worst kind of idol is a "snake idol", which is when something good or a blessing in our life replaces God in our life. In this message we will help to identify those idols, but it will be up to us to decide if we are going to allow them to remain in our lives.

SOMETHING PERSONAL: Are questions, concerns, or doubts preventing you from making a personal connection with God? This series is directed to men and women who desire a personal relationship with God, but who have questions they want answered first. The fact is that adults don't become followers of Christ by getting all their questions answered. In most instances, something happens that shrinks those questions. And that something is always personal. You don't have to understand everything to believe in something.

Not everyone believes that Jesus rose from the dead. Matter of fact no body believed that Jesus was alive that first Easter morning. But the one thing the resurrection of Jesus creates is a very distinct line when it comes to what we believe about Jesus. All of us are on one side or the other of that line! Which side are you on?

"W: IT’S WHAT WE DO" If you stop and think about it, everyone worships. It's what we do! All day long we give our time, energy and affection to something or someone. Day by day, we declare our allegiance. In other words, we worship. Worship is about what we value most. Not just for the religious within church walls, worship is the activity of the human soul. What is essential is that we choose wisely, worshiping what is ultimately worthy of our lives both now and forever.
