Get ready for a juicy, truth-telling conversation. In this episode of The Emily the Mystic Show, Emily sits down with Madelyn Freya, a dark feminine guide and identity alchemist who's helped hundreds of women reclaim their power through shadow work, trauma healing, nervous system regulation, priestess work, and spiritual strategy. Madelyn shares her origin story, including how an abortion in her late 20s sparked a spiritual awakening, how manifestation and business success led to an identity crisis, and how healing chronic fatigue became the portal that deepened her work into true embodiment. Together, Emily and Madelyn unpack what dark feminine energy really means, why surrender is often the fastest path to your desires, and how pleasure and presence unlock the kind of quantum leaps you can't force. ✨ In this episode, we explore: Madelyn's astrology + human design(Capricorn Sun, Aquarius Moon, Libra Rising, Manifesting Generator) Moving back to Denmark and finding spiritual community abroad Her spiritual turning point: abortion, burnout, and reclaiming her life Healing chronic fatigue as a “shamanic illness” portal and initiation What dark feminine energy actually is (and what it isn't) Why light feminine practices work… until they don't How trauma stored in the body blocks pleasure, expansion, and manifestation Who her work is for: successful women hitting a glass ceiling, plus seekers at every level Priestess work + goddess connection (Isis, Freya, Hekate, Lilith) and how to avoid spiritual appropriation How to connect with a goddess archetype in a grounded way The Year of the Snake: deconstruction, tower moments, and nervous system survival tools Emotional release practices that actually work (dance, movement, sauna, embodiment) Why regulating your nervous system isn't about “getting somewhere” The surrender moment that changed everything: job, apartment, love arriving fast The Venusian Codes: using astrology to align your attraction, branding, and business energy The truth about manifesting: certainty without urgency

In Nehemiah six and seven, the evidence starts stacking up in plain sight. The wall is finished, and nobody can explain it away. The nations around Jerusalem see the outcome and realize this work wasn't powered by human grit alone, it was accomplished with the help of our God. But the story doesn't end at “completed,” because victory still needs guarding as Nehemiah sets leaders in place and secures the gates. Now, let's join Pastor Brian for this week's sermon, titled “Undeniable Evidence,” as he traces the moment opposition loses confidence, holy awe takes its place, and God's people learn to protect what He has built.
When the Transit Agency of Central Kentucky (TACK) renovated its headquarters, it wanted to make sure people noticed. Instead of a subtle sign or announcement, it installed a massive, nearly twenty-two feet tall thumbtack at its entrance. The thumbtack, a world record, is an undeniable marker that no passersby can miss. In Daniel 6, God used something undeniable to get people’s attention: He miraculously rescued Daniel after he’d been placed in a lion’s den for choosing to defy King Darius’ decree and continuing to pray to God (vv. 10-23). The prophet survived because he’d “trusted in . . . God” (v. 23). Darius then declared that—unlike the dead idols of the Medes and Persians—Daniel’s God was “the living God [who] endures forever” (v.26). He alone “rescues and . . . saves [and] performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth” (v. 27). It’s remarkable that even a pagan king acknowledged God’s power and sovereignty. Like a giant, divine “thumbtack,” God’s act of power couldn’t be overlooked. Sometimes God gets our attention as He does something significant and undeniable (v. 27)—supernatural rescues, right-on-time provisions, and heart transformations. Other times, He works quietly as we watch and wait. Let’s stand in awe of what He’s doing in and around us today—trusting in Him and His great power (v. 23).

Click/tap here to view the Sermon Reflection Guide. Jesus' parable of the mustard seed in Matthew 13:31–33 reveals that the kingdom of God often begins in ways that seem small, hidden, and insignificant but ultimately become transformative and far-reaching. Just as a seed absorbs water, soil, and light to become something new, Jesus' ministry began in the obscure village of Nazareth within the vast Roman Empire. What started small grew into a movement that outlasted empires and changed the world. Jesus understood that his Father's kingdom is ever-expanding, and he continues this seed-like work in human hearts today—absorbing pain, shame, addiction, and sorrow and transforming them into hope, forgiveness, healing, and love. The central message is that the world changes one human heart at a time. Though individual lives may feel small and insignificant in the face of seemingly overwhelming global problems, God works through quiet, faithful transformation, turning surrendered hearts into catalysts for change in families, communities, and beyond.

You've been meditating. You've been clearing your mind. And nothing's happening. What if the problem isn't that you're doing it wrong, it's that you're doing exactly what prevents connection from occurring? A former Navy Commander turned evidence-based medium and spiritual leader explains why emptiness isn't always the goal, and what one simple reframe could change about your entire spiritual practice.Episode Overview Suzanne Giesemann doesn't fit the spiritual teacher mold, and that's precisely why her work matters. As a former US Navy Commander who served as aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, she brought military-grade discipline to a grief-fueled quest for connection after losing her stepdaughter to a lightning strike. The result? Undeniable evidence of consciousness beyond death, and a grounded, replicable approach to mediumship that anyone can learn. This conversation isn't about belief. It's about what happens when you stop trying so hard to quiet your mind and start getting curious about what wants to fill the space. What You'll DiscoverThe counterintuitive meditation instruction that shifts you from "trying to be empty" to "inviting connection", and why this distinction changes everything for frustrated meditatorsWhy discipline beats mysticism when it comes to developing intuition, and how Suzanne's military training accidentally prepared her for mediumshipThe "Hara test" for knowing whether you're receiving guidance or just making things up (hint: it's not in your head or your heart)What actually happens when you ask for proof and the universe delivers, including a story about coffee creamer that'll make you rethink coincidenceThe real reason people don't connect with their loved ones across the veil (it's not lack of ability, it's a misunderstanding about what meditation is for)How to handle fear when opening yourself spiritually, including Suzanne's encounter with "creatures with talons" and the one response that dissolved them instantlyA 3-minute daily practice (the "Sip of the Divine") that requires zero spiritual background and works even if you "can't meditate"Why This Conversation Is Different Most spiritual teachers will tell you to sit, breathe, and wait. Suzanne tells you to sit, breathe, and invite. She doesn't peddle certainty or demand faith, she offers systems, evidence, and the kind of pragmatic wisdom that comes from spending 20 years in uniform before spending 15+ years bridging worlds. If you've been spinning your wheels trying to "get it right," this episode offers permission to stop performing emptiness and start experiencing connection. You're Not Gullible...You're Curious There's no woo-woo bypass here. Suzanne's path began with skepticism, required proof at every turn, and continues to demand evidence. If you're the kind of person who wants spiritual awakening without abandoning logic, this conversation will feel like relief. Questioning isn't a problem. It's how you know you're paying attention.Listen Now Ready to stop clearing the room when someone's about to knock? This episode offers a different instruction manual, one that trusts your capacity for connection and respects your need for proof.Guest: For more from Suzanne Giesemann, visit suzannegiesemann.com and explore her YouTube channel for practical guidance, evidence-based teaching, and tools like her virtual librarian "Grace."The Skeptic Metaphysicians is a pragmatic spirituality podcast for curious minds exploring the unknown without abandoning critical thinking. Each episode breaks down metaphysics explained through grounded conversation, examining hidden truths behind spiritual awakening, consciousness expansion, and expanded consciousness. We explore intuition, mediumship, spirit guides, and the mechanics of healing and personal transformation—bridging skeptical inquiry with meaningful spiritual experience. If you're navigating your own awakening or questioning reality while staying intellectually honest, this podcast is for seekers and skeptics alike.Subscribe, Rate & Review! If you found this episode enlightening, mind-expanding, or even just thought-provoking (see what we did there?), please take a moment to rate and review us. So… we skipped a week and didn't tell anyone. Sorry about that, folks. Life got in the way in a big way, but we're back with stories to tell. Kris and Tara share COVID stories. Kris dives into her experience at ReadOUT. And of course, we've got those tasty, tasty recommendations. Official Recommendations From Kris: Best in Show (2000) Kris's official recommendation this week is the film Best in Show, in honour of the late, great, and very much missed Catherine O'Hara. It's a mockumentary set in the wild and wacky world of competitive dog shows and the people who devote their lives to it. And, it turns out that the film aged fairly well. If you haven't seen it before, check it out. From Tara: When She Flies by Lee Winter Tara's official recommendation this week is When She Flies by Lee Winter. Despite a humiliating first encounter that only one of them remembers, Jasmine and Sienna reconnect later in life by chance and their relationship churns up a lot of things that need changing in their personal lives. Tara thinks this book would make an awesome mini-series. I've been married 4 times, and divorced 3. Each time, I never thought I would find love again. The kind of love that is easy, peaceful, and supportive. As I was entering into my relationship with Amy, I had already created an 8-page document detailing exactly who she is. I know it sounds crazy, and a bit woo-woo, but I got tired of being in failed relationships. Most of them were because I was involved. All jokes aside, when Amy and I got married, we agreed to enter into a submitted marriage. No, it's not being a cuck.......it's more about finding the right flow and lanes we can each exist in. What is a submitted marriage? It's where two people decide where they are going to solve any disagreements by going to the default of finding resolution. In my marriage, if we have any disagreements around kids, Amy always has the last word. At work, I'm the bread winner, but she has to default to what I want as it pertains to work. It's that simple. Find your lanes. Establish them. Take the arguments out of making your way through disagreements that blow up most marriages. I don't think this is all gonna go the way these billionaires believe it will. And that's good for us. We have entered an ascension era - where the frequency is too high for evil to thrive, at least not at these levels. We need to be delivered from evil, and we are just the people to do it.

THE INAUGURATION RELEASE AND A PATTERN OF TREASON Colleague Craig Unger. Unger highlights the suspicious timing of the hostage release minutes after Reagan's inauguration, arguing a secret deal was undeniable. He connects this to a pattern of Republican interference in foreign policy for electoral gain, linking the "October Surprise" to Nixon's Vietnam sabotage and recent allegations involving Trump and Russia. Per holiday tradition, Your Stupid Minds returns with another Hallmark Christmas movie, one that is so insulting not even Hallmark Christmas movie fans like it. It's 2022's Christmas Bedtime Stories, starring Erin Cahill, Steve Lund, and Charlie Weber. Danielle (Cahill) is a war widow mother whose perfect Marine husband was killed in combat three years prior. Christmas is coming up and, since all major events in her life revolve around Christmas, she's feeling the loss especially hard. These feelings are exacerbated when her chaste Ken doll boyfriend Pierce (Lund) proposes. She says yes, but then starts to see some undeniable signs of her dead husband: lights flickering, a man in a military town wearing a Marine Corps jacket, snow in Virginia in late December. Undeniable. The movie putters along with 50 different conversations of people coming up to people and asking "heeeyyyy, are you okay?" Danielle talks to her sister and friend (or are these the same person?) who materialize in her living room with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc whenever she needs to talk. Meanwhile, her daughter Audrey (Alice Comer) has some consternation over the upcoming father-daughter dance, which takes place at school smack dab in the middle of winter break and seems like a particularly cruel event to host in a military town, where presumably half of the fathers are currently on deployment. A classmate is bullying Audrey for having a dead dad, but since this is a Hallmark movie this confrontation occurs off screen to avoid any unnecessary intrigue or drama. Who will take her to the father-daughter dance? Does she even really care that much? After this relatively rote romp through familiar Hallmark tropes, the movie completely nukes all of the difficult themes it was attempting to address with an ending so stupid it actually made me like the movie a lot more. To find out what it is you'll just have to listen (or watch the movie, I guess). Also Nancy Grace co-wrote this. What's up with that?
