James 1:19-21.
James 1:13-18.
Malachi 4:1-6.
Malachi 3:13-18.
Malachi 3:6-12. We consider a passage that has been misused by the prosperity gospel, but has very relevant teaching for the church today. It speaks to us of the Unchangeable, All-Sufficient, and Benevolent God whom we must return to in repentance, trust in, and obey.
Malachi 2:17-3:5.
Malachi 2:10-12.
Malachi 1:6-14.
Psalm 16. *Disclaimer* In speaking about verse 9, "Therefore my heart is glad and my whole being rejoices," I said that if our heart's joy is gone, it's because we've drifted from close devotion to God. I should not have made such an unqualified statement. A lack of devotion to God can be at the root of a lack of deep joy, but there are obviously other causes of a lack of joy/depression. My apologies. If I caused any hurting Christian distress by this statement, please forgive me. -Pastor Rory
