What a moment in American's history. Just weeks ago a crazy undertaking happened on American soil. Far right and conservatives raided the US Capitol in an attempt to protest the election. It's only fitting that for the milestone they got a distinguished and highly intelligent guest in Kamille Harris who is seeking her doctorate in Psychology. Episode 19 takes Crews & Clout in a direction they've never been. The show's first full time feature guest stops by in the form of Nikki Chavez, LA Based lingerie and sleepwear designer who loves Birds of Prey which she discussed with the boys while also giving her analysis and support of Bernie Sander. She shares her experiences as a business owner and the ins, outs and origins of her line of products as well as what's it like living in LA.
Episode 18 returns Farshad Sarrafi(Previously on in Episode 5), life coach, personal trainer, entrepreneur and a plethora of other hats to the podcast discuss growing a brand, building successful habits and mindsets to continue to be successful independently and uses his own success and failures to do so. Always incredibly vulnerable yet outspoken, he meticulously navigates tips on how to be successful using social media and the merits and its downfalls. The boys put a wrap on the year 2019 and simultaneously wrap up the 2010 decade as a whole. The guys list their favorite comic run of the decade, favorite music artist of the decade and their favorite 5 movies of the decade. The usual year end top 10 list for movies is also discussed. On top of that Clout and crews got introspective and discussed their accomplishments and failures from 2010 while looking forward with their goals for the 2020's. Episode 12 sees the show flex it’s versatility. Instead of the normal format, episode 12 is a straight interview almost exactly akin to that of Beats 1. Crews does his best Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden or or Julie Adenuga impression while he introduces musician Daniel Ratliff into the fold. Ratliff ponders his music motivations, desires, his former success on the now dead app Vine, his experiences with Blake Griffin, Chris Brown’s body count and where music streaming can go next in this candid interview.
Episode 11. The Return of Clout brings these back to their roots for our favorite hosts. No guests, just our favorite guys. Clout discusses his review of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. The duo get into a lengthy analysis of the Spider Sony/Disney TUG OF WAR, media monopolies and why Disnety can't keep getting away with it. The great Chicken Wars of 2019 get some airtime as well as a look at the democratic party as we near one year til the next presidential election. Episode 10, a momentous episode for Crews & Clout. Finally have double digit episodes. For the 10th episode, they rallied help from familiar guests such as Troy, Jon and Church and bringing on the help of their first woman guest in Emma! Among things discussed were, DC and Marvel's respective presence' at San Diego Comic Con, a deep look at the future of DC Comicss, House Of X among others. In the second half they focused on movies and TV breaking down DC's no show at SDCC. Episode 8 has been a long time in the works. After various individual guest appearances from buddies Jon and Troy, the two join the pod with Crews and Clout to discuss the major episode of Season 8 episode 3 of Game of Thrones and also to discuss the major film of the year to this point Avengers:Endgame. They go on to discuss Detective Pikachu and other movies as well. the pod sees the guys offer their honest reviews of Endgame and they break down the plot and discuss casting choices among other things.
Episode 7 is all about Thrones. Crews & Clout bring back the awesome Jon Young to discuss episode 1 of the final season of Game of Thrones. The guys recap the episode and preview different plots, look at possible outcomes and endings for the series among other things.
Episode 6 features a guest appearance by Church and: a discussion about Jordan Peele's "Us", reviews of Detective Comics 1000, A look at the gang's best memories of Batman over the years as Batman celebrates 80 years. Clout, Crews and Church discuss subtle bits of fashion and discuss sexual assault allegations surrounding Kristaps Porzingis.
Episode 5 sees the return of the podcast. After an extended hiatus Crews and Clout return with a recap of life since the last full episode, a look at the DC world, a break down of game of thrones as the final season looms, a review of Captain Marvel from Crews and a discussion about the importance of closure. Joining the crew was Farshad Sarrafi, a friend of Crews' and his trainer. Farshad spoke about fitness, mindset, the psychology in desiring more and even the Lakers with Crews.
