As a Trainer/Coach/Chiro/Therapist/etc, what is our role in the lives of our clients/athletes? Typcailly, we only spend a few hours with them a week, at best. With all the hours in a day, all the activities in a week, it's tough to really make a difference in the lives of others. One of the things @brandoncrobb admired right away was the fact that Taylor Evernden, founder of ORKA Performance, works very hard to increase the levels of communication for ALL professionals working with their athletes/clients. This increased level of collaboartion is not common within the industry, but it sure shows the kind of results that can happen working with a team.Taylor and Brandon spoke a lot about training youth athletes, from performance to rehab to return to sport. If you want to follow Taylor, you can email him at Taylor@orkaperformance.com, or find him on instagram @YYCstrengthCoach or @orkaperformance. #EvolveRadio #EvolveStrength

How do you stand out in a crowded industry? Many of us are flooded with ads for fitness professionals, all claiming to fix this or offer that - whether its to get in the best shape of our lives OR whether its to help us grow and scale our business. Then there are professionals like @guedo.power, who show us that if you simply work hard and focus on the things you are good at/like to do, success can follow.Dean is the epitome of a self starter. And while not all of us have the ability to build a brand like Dean, I gather from our conversation is that no one should. Focusing on doing the things you enjoy, are passionate about and feel you can add value to others will often result in success. One of the biggest reasons for Deans success is the fact that he is always learning. Seeking out mentors and seeking to grow his own personal brand. If you want to find Dean and all his projects, you can find all his links on his instagram bio link - @guedo.power.Till next week!#EvolveRadio #EvolveStrength

Graham was fully aware of these prior to going in, something that unfortunately not all gym owners are aware of.Ultimately, there is no one clear path to building a career in the fitness industry, but rather connecting your passion for helping others with the lifestyle you want to live. This week we spoke all about what its like to build a career in the fitness industry.Enjoy ✌️ #EvolveRadio #EvolveStrength

If you have taken any sort of group fitness class in Edmonton, AB - you've likely heard of Becky Robinson. Becky is a down to earth, no BS person and has ZERO issues showing that in her professional life. While she would be the first to admit that this has gotten her into trouble in the past, it is also a major reason she has built such a following in group fitness.Today, business and relationships seem to be overly polished, produced, to the point where they almost feel fake. This, in part, is why Becky is such a breath of fresh air. She is unapologetically herself, and backs that up with a very well educated teaching philosophy that makes so successful. Becky is the perfect example of someone who cares about quality and personal education and development, but also builds a brand that is entirely her own.Definitely give this week a listen, and follow Becky @beckybojanglesrobinson if you want some quality advice with LOT's of entertainment. FYI - her instagram feed is sometimes NSFW...#EvolveStrength #EvolveRadio
