It's time for yet another big debate, and this time it's a battle between the OG members of James and Ces! As with previous debates, the contestants must swap sides and defend the opposing point of view. This means that the obsessive Arsenal fan in James must defend Bayer Leverkusen's Invincible season, and the lover of all things German in Ces must defend Arsenal's Invincibles. It is a period of civil war! Where once Ces was the last Jedi to advocate for VAR, has he finally been tempted by the dark side? A serious topic like this needs serious people to really dig into the issue and find a solution... but as they're not doing anything, it's up to Ces and James to do it instead. Yet the toxicity in our beautiful game is still causing many issues, from bad behaviour to downright inexcusable death threats! The boys find new ways to tackle this issue, and this time it will be fixed... alright?!

James looks into the finances within the league that are ruining the very soul of English football, Ces looks at German football to see what can be learned, and Dan makes the ultimate sacrifice to save us all. We all know at least one football friend with entitled views from a privileged position. They're the ones looking down from their ivory towers, whether due to their recent success, the club's history or simply due to their rose-tinted view of the world. The boys discuss how to tackle this topic, both from a top-down view of James's perspective, and a bottom-up view of Ces. It may seem too much for them, but it's fixable... alright?!

There are many teams in the English league, and two in particular have been owned by people with little or no interest in caring for these titans of English football - Everton and Manchester United. Ces and Dan have the difficult task to debate which of these clubs are the worst run by their owners, and to crown which team is the true car crash of the Premierleague. Does anyone else get the feeling that an arm and a leg might not cover the cost to watch your favourite football team anymore? Matchday and season tickets are at an all-time high, merchandise prices are ridiculous, and we are now expected to fork out too much each month for TV subscriptions, all while the cost of living already tightened our purse strings. Time for a big FIF,A?! debate! This will be a regular feature where titans will meet titans in the squared ring of the 57th largest football-related podcast in Australia. The contestants are put to the test to see if they are able to use the methods from this great podcast in order to put aside bias and skewed statistics. It's fair to say that, for all British football fans, knowing that this is the last Match of the Day season with the great Gary Lineker is emotional. He has been an ever-present in many of our lives, and it's such a shame to see him leave. We're not saying that he felt threatened by our podcast and incredible knowledge of the game - we are simply pointing out the mere coincidence that Lineker chooses to retire in the same year that we began this podcast. Nevertheless, we will stand in for him... alright?!

This week, the boys tackle a big issue that every generation faces - recency bias! It's probably our best episode yet, but then again there may be a little recency bias involved in that evaluation. Tackling now seems to be more tactical, and if you go anywhere near the attacker's aura, the ref will likely call it a foul.
