Last year, the award was claimed by former Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, who scored 29 goals to aid the Reds in clinching the Premier League title. The winners will be celebrated on Tuesday, 25 August, during the 53rd annual PFA Awards Ceremony in Manchester.

Bryce Paup's toughness comes from his years of being looked over, played at the wrong position and then BAM! everything clicked. But don't think he just fell into the right situation. His toughness comes from the right attitude, work ethic and doing the right thing over and over again. He'd call himself "old school" if old school means "you reap what you sew." Sure, he has a great sense of humor, and is a proud, protective Dad. And he sure loves to talk about golf, even if his game is a work in progress.
