We live in a world where we spend a great deal of time determining what's true from fake. Oftentimes, we come to this conclusion based on what sounds right to us personally. However, this is a very dangerous thought process, as we must consider God at all times and what He says! After all, we have been persuaded many times and have been wrong! Why? There are many things that happen in our lives that cause us to think the worst. It's natural because many of these situations appear very scary and life-altering, and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. However, in Christ, we have assurance of better things to come. In life, there are things we simply have to do. Who determines this? God alone is responsible for setting the rules! It is our job as His children to follow them. God has told us time and time again that His Word is true! The Scripture must be fulfilled. There are two sides: those who are obedient to the Word and those who are not. There are some things we all go through! Our problems tend to become magnified, and the problems of others become small in our eyes. Furthermore, we start to believe that we have things much worse than others, comparing our lives with theirs based on what we can see. The Scripture provides comfort to let us know we're not alone—others have faced problems, have struggled, and have also overcome whatever was thrown their way. We live in a world where some have more and others have less. Some can paint, sing, multiply, speak, or excel in school! The list goes on and on, as we see everyone has their own abilities and gifts from the Lord. If we would examine ourselves, we would declare that we are people who make many mistakes... and sadly, oftentimes, the mistakes we make are the same ones we've made in the past. Throughout time, God has chosen to separate His people. He does this according to His purpose and His will through the things He commands us to do. Now, the Scripture tells us His commandments are not grievous. He does not ask us to do things we are not able to do, as He will equip us and give us the power and strength to do them!
