We are presented with choices every day. In simplest terms, the choice is to do right or wrong in God's eyes. Many of these choices seem to present an upside with no downside at all! Our brother Paul wrote many messages to the New Testament church. An Apostle sent to the Gentiles continued to encourage us not only to get saved but to remain saved! In our time, this type of message seems foreign because we feel that we are automatically saved after we first get saved. But as we continue to study the word of God through the writings of Paul as well as the entire Bible, this is not the case. Before Jesus was crucified, He warned His disciples of what was to come. We find ourselves in the same situation tonight, being warned by God of the danger ahead, while also being assured that we can trust Him. When faced with trouble, how could we not be troubled?! As we look around us, many things will distract us from God. We can see the division all around us from race to politics to your favorite sports team! Have you been baptized before? If yes, I will ask you to examine how it was performed closely. Many are baptized today, sprinkled, oftentimes as a baby. Is this accepted by God?
