What if the very beliefs driving your success are also the ones quietly burning you out? In this episode of The Greatness Machine, host Darius Mirshahzadeh sits down with neuroscientist and founder of Dr. Rewire, Dr. Alok Trivedi, for a powerful conversation on how the brain, beliefs, and nervous system truly shape success and fulfillment. Dr. Alok shares his origin story, the breakdown that sparked his breakthrough, and how decoding the “anatomy of belief” allowed him to rewire his life and business. Together, they explore why traditional mindset work often falls short, why the brain is wired for protection rather than happiness, and why integration, not hustle, is the real path to sustainable performance. The conversation dives into Dr. Alok's Four Brains framework, the dopamine-driven highs and lows of achievement, and how entrepreneurs can align with their true design to reduce burnout, anxiety, and self-sabotage. In this episode, Darius and Dr. Alok will discuss: (00:00) Introduction to Dr. Alok Trivedi (02:12) Dr. Alok's Origin Story and Mission (05:20) The Shift from Personal Development to Neuroscience (07:25) Understanding the Connection Between Mind and Body (12:26) The Role of Beliefs in Shaping Reality (16:26) The Importance of Why and Why Not (19:42) Aligning Ego and Soul for Success (24:24) The Four Brains Model of Leadership (29:41) Bridging the Gap to Ideal Profiles (33:18) Integrating Life for Authenticity (38:52) The Cycle of Highs and Lows in Achievement (43:36) Final Thoughts and Greatness Question Dr. Alok Trivedi, widely known as Dr. Rewire, is a neuroscientist and human performance expert dedicated to transforming lives through brain-based optimization. He has built one of the world's largest healthcare clinics, impacting over 500,000 people across 73 countries, and is the founder of Dr. Rewire, an Inc. 5000–recognized company. With more than 27 years of research in the mind-body connection, Dr. Alok blends neuroscience with practical application to help individuals rewire their beliefs for lasting success and well-being. Welcome to episode 322 of Grow Your Law Firm, hosted by Ken Hardison. In this episode, Ken is joined by Michael Ponce, founder of Ponce Law in Nashville and a highly accomplished personal injury trial lawyer. The conversation centers on how law firm owners can dramatically increase revenue without increasing marketing spend. Michael breaks down the concepts of "lead leak" and "valuation leak," explains how his firm nearly doubled its average case fee, and shares the systems he uses to rank cases, assign attorneys strategically, and implement a valuation committee before settlement. He also discusses the importance of trying cases, training young lawyers, and preparing for the temporary cash-flow dip that comes with raising minimum settlement standards. What you'll learn in this episode: How to Increase Revenue Without Increasing Marketing Spend - Why focusing only on lead generation overlooks hidden profit opportunities - How improving intake and case valuation can significantly raise average fees What "Lead Leak" and "Valuation Leak" Really Mean - How firms unknowingly lose qualified cases during intake - Why many firms leave money on the table by undervaluing existing cases The 80/20 Rule and Case Ranking Systems - Why 20% of your cases generate 80% of your revenue - How ranking cases and attorneys ensures your best lawyers handle your highest-value matters Using a Case Valuation Committee - How setting a Minimum Settlement Value (MSV) strengthens negotiation leverage - Why committee-based valuation removes emotional bias and prevents premature settlements Building a Trial-Ready Culture - Why trying smaller cases is essential for training young attorneys - How litigation credibility increases settlement values across the board     Resources: Website: poncelaw.comLinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/michael-ponce-60a2602a9/ Facebook: facebook.com/PonceLawFirm YouTube: youtube.com/user/PonceLaw   Additional Resources:    https://www.pilmma.org/the-mastermind-effect https://www.pilmma.org/resources https://www.pilmma.org/mastermind

Charlene Ignacio of Fornix Marketing spoke with Doug Green, Publisher of Technology Reseller News, during the Enterprise Connect conference about how technology vendors can better plan, execute, and measure the success of their trade show participation. Ignacio explained that many companies invest heavily in conferences but often fail to fully capitalize on the opportunity because they lack a clear strategy before, during, and after the event. Effective trade show marketing begins well before the event itself, she noted, with outreach campaigns, meeting scheduling, and clear messaging designed to attract the right audience to a booth or presentation. Another key factor is having a structured approach to engagement during the show. Vendors should focus not only on product demonstrations but also on meaningful conversations that identify potential customer needs and partnership opportunities. “Trade shows are about building relationships and starting conversations that continue long after the event ends,” Ignacio said. Post-event follow-up is equally important. Companies that quickly organize and act on leads—while continuing conversations through email, social media, and content marketing—are far more likely to convert trade show interactions into real business opportunities. As industry professionals gathered at Enterprise Connect to explore the future of enterprise communications and collaboration, Ignacio emphasized that a thoughtful event strategy can transform conferences from simple brand exposure into powerful drivers of sales pipeline and long-term industry relationships. Scholarship Search and Application Strategies Megan and Erin agree that local scholarships, school counselors, and local organizations, places of worship, and employers are often overlooked sources worth exploring. Megan highlighted that many students stop applying for scholarships after their freshman year of college, despite the availability of scholarships for current students. The 5 Minute Basketball Coaching Podcast

https://teachhoops.com/ The secret to an efficient practice isn't working faster; it's eliminating "dead time." Most practices lose 15–20 minutes to "coach-speak," long lines, and slow transitions between drills. To combat this, adopt the "Whistle-to-Whistle" mentality. Every segment should have a pre-determined start time and a countdown clock. Use "Transition Sprints"—where players have 7 seconds to get to their next station—to keep the heart rate elevated. By scripting your practice in 6- to 8-minute blocks, you force yourself to be concise with instruction and your players to stay mentally sharp. Remember, the goal is "Rep Density": the number of game-like touches an athlete gets per minute of practice. The second pillar of efficiency is the "Station-Based" approach to fundamentals. Instead of having 12 players standing in one line for a layup drill, break them into three groups of four at different baskets. This triples the number of repetitions each player receives in the same amount of time. During these stations, utilize "Multi-Skill Drills"—exercises that combine two or more skills, such as a close-out into a box-out, or a ball-handling move into a finishing move. When you "stack" skills, you aren't just practicing ball-handling; you are building the "functional athleticism" required to execute that handle under defensive pressure. Finally, utilize "Visual Learning" and "Pre-Practice Briefings" to save time on the court. Send your practice plan or a short 2-minute film clip of a new play to your players via group chat before they arrive at the gym. This allows you to spend your precious hardwood time "refining" rather than "installing." When players step on the floor already knowing the "what" and the "where," you can immediately jump into the "how" at game-speed. In the mid-season grind, this proactive communication is what separates the programs that plateau from the programs that peak. For decades, climate alarmists have used fear to convince and coerce people into submission regarding business operations and lifestyle choices. Years ago, we were bombarded with messages on global freezing and fear propaganda filled the media – until data showed otherwise. Then messaging switched to proclaim the threat of global warming. Repeated threats of worldwide deaths convinced the public to abide by choice-limiting regulations that altered lifestyles until once again - data showed otherwise. Now it is all just referred to as "climate change" – which somehow gives excuse to limit freedom, geoengineer weather, and regulate every aspect of life under global control. In this episode, Linda interviews Marc Morano, veteran journalist from ClimateDepot.com. They discuss climate treaties, energy production, presidential executive orders, and logical outcomes of various climate related policies. homestead where you are Stuck Where You Are? Homestead Anyway. | Episode 597 Good morning, this is James from SurvivalPunk.com. Today we're talking about something a lot of you are feeling right now. You want land. You want a homestead. You want chickens, a garden, maybe 40 acres and a creek. But you're in an apartment.Or suburbia.Or stuck in a house you overpaid for. Housing is ridiculous. Rent is ridiculous. Land is ridiculous. So what do you do when you're stuck where you are? You homestead anyway. Stop Wishing You Bought in 2012 There's always that “if only” moment. If only you bought that house in 2012.If only you bought Bitcoin at $8.If only you locked in that 3% mortgage. Here's the truth. Even if you had bought Bitcoin at $8, you probably would've sold it at $100 and felt like a genius. Hindsight makes everything look easy. But it doesn't help you today. What helps you today is controlling spending, increasing income, and stacking cash so you're ready when opportunity shows up. Because deals still happen — but only for people who are ready. Apartment Prepping Is Real Prepping When I first started prepping, I was in an apartment. No balcony. No land. Just walls and limited square footage. You can still do a lot. If you have a balcony, grow something with high return. Don't waste space on novelty crops. Herbs and lettuce mixes are powerful. Sprinkle a lettuce mix in a planter box, cover lightly with soil, water it, and cut what you need for salads. It regrows. High ROI. Easy. Cilantro, if you like it, grows fast and heavy. Zucchini? Great yield. Tomatoes? Honestly… sometimes just buy them. (I've had the worst tomato luck in history.) The point isn't perfection. It's production. Micro-Livestock (Yes, It's a Thing) You're not putting a cow on your balcony. Chickens in an apartment? Probably not realistic. But there are small-scale options. Quail are doable in tight spaces. Eggs and meat from a compact footprint. Rabbits? Possible if managed well. Just don't let the kids name the meat rabbits. Some survivalists even raise meat hamsters. That's not for everyone. I'm not trying to explain that to my daughter anytime soon. But the lesson is this: Constraints don't eliminate options. They force creativity. Suburbia Is Not a Prison If you have even a small yard, you're ahead. You can grow a surprising amount of food on tiny acreage. Look at what micro-homesteaders have done on 1/10th of an acre. Chickens. Vegetables everywhere. Selling surplus. If you're stuck in an HOA? Learn the rules. Push right up to the line. If they push back, remember — there are creative ways to negotiate. Sometimes all it takes is showing that you're willing to be more stubborn than they are. Doug Fifer of Fifer Family Farms joins Jeff, Mary, and Eric for a second episode to discuss how Doug manages change, inputs, and tighter margins with his farming and cover cropping systems. Doug acknowledges that we are all creatures of habit and have our comfort zones.  Doug began experimenting and stretching his comfort zone with no-till farming and cover crops in 2010. As Doug built his cropping system and expanded his focus on cover crops as an integral input for soil biology and building organic matter, Doug's only regret is that he did not start when he was 25 rather than 50 years old. Doug reiterates that farmers are facing higher input costs and tighter margins; therefore, farmers need to be mindful of their actual return on investment (ROI) rather than solely focusing on yields. Return on investment is the bottom line. Cereal rye and vetch are two of Doug's go-to cover crops. However, he planted an 11-species cover crop mix last fall and will be doing a side-by-side comparison of the effects of the two systems on corn production. Big moments rarely happen by accident. What looks like an overnight opportunity is usually built on years of saying yes, showing up, and doing the work when no one is watching. Long before doors open and attention follows, there are days of preparation that do not get noticed. There are small decisions to stay with the work even when results are not clear. It is easy to focus on the moment when things finally come together, but the real story is often in the steady work that made that moment possible. Many people think success is about who you know or being in the right place at the right time. Those things matter, but they are not the whole story. Opportunity often meets people who are already moving, already serving, and already building something with purpose. They are not waiting for a chance to appear. They are getting ready for it. Growth does not come from chasing attention. It comes from choosing work that matters, building real relationships, and staying committed to the process. Over time, those choices shape both the work and the person doing it. And when new doors open, it is not because of luck, but because the groundwork has already been laid. In this episode, I'm taking you behind the scenes of three unforgettable days in San Francisco with HBCU Endzone and sharing the lessons that stayed with me long after the trip ended. This Super Bowl postgame reflection goes beyond the game and into meaningful conversations with students, a powerful sit-down with NAMI CEO Daniel Gillison Jr., and a moving talk with Hall of Famer Harry Carson about men's health and prostate cancer. Along the way, I share why purpose will always matter more than hype and how real impact is built through follow-through, collaboration, and genuine connection. If you've ever wondered how a single conversation can open the door to something bigger, this episode is for you. The team explains how these FDA Class I medical devices provide active-assistive, game-based training at home to help patients achieve the high repetition doses (500–600 reps per day) needed for neuroplastic change, without replacing traditional therapy. Built on pneumatic "artificial muscle" technology, the devices adapt in real time to the user's movement, address tone and spasticity, and can be customized for a wide range of neurologic conditions, from stroke and MS to Parkinson's disease and Guillain-Barré. The conversation covers who is appropriate for the devices, how they integrate with inpatient and outpatient care, real-world success stories—including improved gait, grip strength, and mental health—and the practical steps for clinicians to refer patients, arrange demos, and navigate the 13‑month rental-to-own DME model now supported by a dedicated Medicare code, which means patients can get the device through their insurance and it does not impact their ability to get other durable medical equipment (DME). From sandblasting pipe yards at 17 to advising on $10-200M M&A transactions, Dr. Greg Waller shares proven strategies for maximizing business exit value, managing buyer expectations, and why the best time to prepare for sale is 3 years before you're ready. In this episode of the DealQuest Podcast, host Corey Kupfer sits down with Dr. Greg Waller, who advises clients on complex business valuation and buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions. Greg is the managing partner of Cornerstone Valuation and a partner and managing director of Transact Capital, leading a 20-person team focused on the lower middle to middle market. Given his academic and entrepreneurial background, he jokingly refers to himself as the Blue Collar Scholar. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: In this episode, you'll discover why professional buyers and owner-operators require completely different M&A processes, how to set realistic expectations about the gap between business value and market price, and why starting exit preparation 3 years in advance dramatically impacts final sale outcomes. Greg explains how private equity-backed platforms are blurring the traditional lines between financial and strategic buyers, what makes labor-intensive businesses particularly attractive in the current market, and the cultural complexities that emerge in international transactions. You'll also learn why the most successful exits often begin as casual conversations years before any actual sale decision. GREG'S JOURNEY: Greg's path to M&A advisory started in Youngstown, Ohio at age 17. He walked into a pipe yard with a 4-inch piece of pipe, half sandblasted and coated, half rusty. He showed the crew his before-and-after demo and landed a contract to blast the entire yard over 18 months. That first deal led to years painting elevated structural steel, bridges, water tanks, and radio transmission towers. The industry changed when EPA regulations around lead-based paint removal came in. Working on a bridge one day, a coworker with cracked hands from years of painting looked at Greg and said, "Look at my hands, look at my face. What are you doing? You're a smart boy, why don't you go back to school?" That conversation took the rest of the season to sink in, but Greg eventually left the painting business and pursued his MBA at Ohio University. Faculty members encouraged him to pursue a PhD. His initial reaction was "Are you crazy? Why would I ever want to do a PhD?" But they convinced him, and he earned his PhD in finance at Purdue University. During his 20 years in academics at Ohio University and Virginia Commonwealth University (until May 2025), Greg maintained entrepreneurial ventures including valuation work as an expert witness, real estate development, buying his father's distribution company, and building a restaurant operating group. THE BLUE COLLAR SCHOLAR: Greg's unique combination of blue-collar operations experience and academic expertise gives him a perspective most M&A advisors lack. As he puts it, "I'm as comfortable talking to the janitor as I am to a board of directors, and just being able to put yourself in those shoes and having done it really gives you a different perspective." Having been under the hood of companies across virtually every industry through ownership and valuation work, he can get into the head of sellers in ways that matter when emotions run high and expectations need managing. KEY INSIGHTS: The M&A market divides into two buyer pools requiring vastly different processes. Professional buyers (private equity and strategics) respond to structured competitive auction processes with rigorous due diligence. Owner-operators typically engage through market-making platforms where price leads the conversation. Understanding which buyer type you're targeting shapes everything about your approach. Value and price represent fundamentally different concepts. Greg uses GameStop as his example: price went through the roof despite no fundamental change to the company, then crashed. Setting realistic expectations upfront with clients about valuation ranges prevents painful surprises when market realities emerge. The critical question: "If this thing ends up pricing at the lower end of the range, are we still good to go?" The consultative approach produces the best outcomes. Greg's most successful deals were "3 or 5 years in the making" where he identified value drivers early, helped clients clean up their operations, and positioned them properly before market entry. The best time to start thinking about hitting the market is 3 years ago. Private equity-backed platforms now dominate middle-market transactions, acting like strategics by bolting on competitors but bringing institutional capital discipline. This hybrid model has made the traditional financial versus strategic buyer distinction increasingly blurry. Labor-intensive businesses with skilled workforces are commanding premium multiples as immigration policies create labor challenges. Service providers to infrastructure industries and staffing companies are particularly hot. With massive private equity dry powder and 2024's weak M&A activity, the ingredients point toward a robust 2026 market. Perfect for business owners planning exits in the next 3-5 years, entrepreneurs considering M&A advisory relationships, and anyone interested in understanding how blue-collar operations experience combined with academic expertise creates differentiated advisory value. A very serious threat to freedom is rising in our nation. Many people have not heard of, nor do they understand how adherents to Sharia Law want to change our culture, legal system, and ultimately our entire system of government. They have openly admitted such desires and are working diligently throughout the country to accomplish their goals. In this episode, Linda interviews policy expert, Frank Gaffney, to discuss the need for all citizens to be aware and informed on this matter. Frank also provides time-sensitive information for people in Texas who have an opportunity to express opposition to Sharia Law and show support for our Constitution through voting in a special election on March 3, 2026. (Early voting has already started.) Proposition 10 is a simple ballot proposal stating opposition to Sharia Law, and if passed it will send a message to Texas and the nation that we want our Constitution to remain the law of the land. This issue affects every community and every citizen, not just those in Texas. If you care about freedom, you do not want to miss this episode.  ©Copyright 2026, Prosperity 101, LLC For more information on Sharia Law and the Texas ballot proposal, please visit www.BanSharia.com. __________________________________________________________ For information about our online course and other resources visit: https://prosperity101.com To order a copy of Prosperity 101 – Job Security Through Business Prosperity® by Linda J.
