God always listens to our prayers. Whoever we are, whatever we're reaching out to him for, he's listening. But we all probably know “that person” whose prayers seem to get answered on a regular basis. This week in our series The Way, James guides us in how to become the kind of people who seem to have our prayers answered more frequently. And just to be clear: it has nothing to do with being more holy or a “better Christian” than others. But it does have something to do with our posture in his presence.

Acts 10 is one of the most significant chapters in the entire book of Acts, not simply because of what happens, but because of what God reveals. If there is ever a chapter where heaven leans over the balcony of eternity and shouts to earth, "There is more!" this is it. Peter has become a veteran of revival. Cornelius, from the outside, looks like he has everything: influence, wealth, respect, morality, religion. But God looks at both men and says the same thing. There is more. Never believe you've exhausted everything God wants to do in your life.
