Integrity is defined as, a “firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values,” and the dictionary points readers to see the entry for INCORRUPTIBILITY. Or, another definition states that integrity is “the quality or state of being complete or undivided.” I like that. When you or I act one way here, and another way there, that is divided. The Priests of Malachi were divided, claiming to be descendants of the likes of the Levites who cleansed Israel with Moses, or Phinehas, but acting in the present, less than that.

In this message, we reflected on the importance of faith, grace, and wholehearted trust in God. We explored the dangers of relying on rationalization and human reasoning, instead encouraging full submission to God's will. Through conversations on justification, reconciliation, and the transformative power of divine love, we were reminded of the unchanging nature of God's love. The message concluded with gratitude and encouragement to walk in faith, overcome fear and self-doubt, and pursue a clear conscience in our spiritual journey.

The Rebbe offers assistance in acquiring tefillin and emphasizes verifying their status. He addresses a claim that modern fire-lighting should be permitted on Shabbat, refuting it logically and historically. He explains that mitzvot are divine commands, not based on human logic, and Torah is eternal and unchanging. He encourages spreading Chassidus with joy and clarity and blesses the recipient with a kosher and joyous Pesach. https://www.torahrecordings.com/rebbe/igroskodesh/015/008/5363
We are always becoming and in motion. We are constantly unconstant, and to slow down is to die. But God never changes. His stability does not stagnate. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Is God emotionless and unchanging? Many systematic theologians have long argued that God is completely impassible—meaning He cannot feel, suffer, or be influenced by creation. But is this truly what the Bible teaches? In this episode, Dr. R.T. Mullins joins The Biblical Mind Podcast to challenge traditional ideas about God's nature, emotions, and engagement with the world. He explains how philosophy has often shaped theology more than scripture, why systematic theologians ignore biblical descriptions of God's emotions, and what it actually means to call God all-powerful and all-knowing. Dru and R.T. explore the hidden assumptions behind classical theism, why ancient theologians rejected the idea that God could suffer, and whether modern theology needs a reset. Mullins also discusses how our view of God shapes how we pray, worship, and think about suffering. If you've ever wondered why theology sometimes feels disconnected from the Bible, or why certain doctrines sound more like philosophy than scripture, this episode will challenge you to rethink how we describe God. Through His names, He has made Himself known, providing His people with assurance and security. Summary This episode of "Coping" covers what a calling is, and debunks three major misconceptions about it. Kathy and Kevin discuss that calling isn't just for certain people but is universal, and it doesn't always manifest as a clear, dramatic moment. They discuss the difference between jobs (which pay bills), careers (climbing the ladder), and callings (which provide meaning and purpose). The conversation concludes with a reading of John Donahue's poem 'For the Traveler.' Highlights Introduction to Calling and Its Evolution The speakers begin by introducing the topic of calling and its importance. They establish that calling isn't static but evolves over time. Statistical evidence is presented showing the evolution of job changes: from 1-2 jobs in 1950, 4-6 in 1980, to a projected 12 jobs by 2025. Yale professor Amy Rosinski's framework is discussed, distinguishing between jobs (for paying bills), careers (ladder climbing), and callings (meaningful purpose). Myth 1: Calling is Unchanging and Linear The first myth addressed is that calling remains unchanged throughout life. Kevin emphasizes that people are called, not jobs, and that calling evolves as individuals grow. Kathy uses the metaphor of Russian stacking dolls to illustrate how calling evolves into larger versions while maintaining core identity. Parker Palmer's quote about listening to one's life is referenced to emphasize the connection between calling and identity. Myth 2: Calling is Only for Other People The second myth discusses the misconception that calling is only for special individuals. Both speakers share personal experiences: Kathy initially resisted following her family's educational legacy, while Kevin, as a chaplain, notes how people often associate calling only with religious vocations. They emphasize that everyone has a unique purpose to fulfill. Myth 3: Calling is Always Clear and Obvious The final myth addresses the misconception that calling appears as a dramatic moment of revelation. The speakers reference Bill Burnett's work on Design Your Life Thinking and discuss how calling often emerges through small moments rather than dramatic 'burning bush' experiences. They emphasize that calling develops through exploration and reflection, with Kevin introducing the concept of 'lowercase c' calling moments versus 'capital C' moments.
Unchangeable: Finding Peace Amidst Life's Storms #RTTBROS #Nightlight "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." — Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)I've been overwhelmed lately with changes coming at me from all directions. My brother's serious health crisis weighs heavily on my heart, especially knowing he's the sole provider for his family. At the same time, I'm facing my own career transition in my tent-making trade. Last night, I found myself tossing and turning, unable to sleep as these concerns swirled in my mind. That old song "Que Sera, Sera" keeps coming back to me—"whatever will be, will be." As a child, I found comfort in its simple philosophy, but now I see that without God at its center, it's just empty resignation. There's a profound difference between saying "whatever happens, happens" and truly trusting my uncertain future to a certain God.For me as a believer, I don't just passively accept what comes my way. Instead, I place my changing circumstances in the hands of my unchanging Lord. As Scripture reminds me, "For I am the LORD, I change not" (Malachi 3:6). This unchangeable nature of God gives me the firm foundation I need when everything around me seems to be shifting. When fear threatens to overtake me, I try to follow David's example: "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee" (Psalm 56:3). My peace doesn't come from knowing what tomorrow holds, but from knowing Who holds my tomorrow.I keep reminding myself: "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). This verse doesn't promise I won't have burdens—clearly I do—but it assures me of God's sustaining presence through them.As I face these significant changes in my life, I take comfort knowing I'm not facing them alone or without purpose. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).In these sleepless nights and worried days, I'm learning to rest in God's unchanging nature as I navigate these changing circumstances. My situation may change, but His faithfulness never will.

Many believers know that “God is love.” But whether through cultural lies, false beliefs, or years of mulling over the tragedies of the world, it may be difficult to see the true, steadfast, and unchanging love of the Father. We are so back and we are diving into a verse that has the power to change everything for us: Ephesians 3:20. The Apostle Paul reminds us that God is "able to do immeasurably MORE than all we ask or imagine." But what does that really mean for us, especially in our day-to-day lives as we navigate our years? Life can be a whirlwind. Between careers, relationships, and all the ups and downs, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. So, let's unpack this together! We'll explore how Paul's heartfelt prayer for the Ephesian church teaches us about faith, unity, and the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit living within us. Imagine how our lives could change if we really embraced the idea that God can do more than we can even dream up! It can shift the way we pray, fill us with hope, and inspire us to think bigger about our relationship with Him.We'll also reflect on a beautiful truth from 1 Peter 1:25—"the word of the Lord remains forever." It's easy to think of the Bible as just an old book, but let me tell you, these are living words meant to guide us through life's challenges. In a world that feels like it's constantly changing, anchoring ourselves in the eternal truth of God's Word can provide us with the stability we crave.Whether you're facing challenges, feeling a bit lost, or simply looking to deepen your faith journey, this episode is all about reminding you to trust in God's limitless power and the everlasting nature of His Word. Here's to 2025. Jesus is our unchanging Lord in a world where change is the norm. Even the godliest leaders pass away but Jesus remains 'the same yesterday, today and forever'. In this message from Hebrews 13:5-9, David presents Jesus as the ONLY answer to all our problems; specifically, loneliness, turbulent times, the assault on truth and unbelief. Listen in and be encouraged that Jesus Christ is the same as He always was and can still do today what we see Him do in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John - and He is the hope of our future! It's a call to appreciate your spouse's efforts and reciprocate with love and understanding, recognizing this as a vital practice akin to discipline in other life areas.Join us as we confront the challenges of upholding faith and moral standards, using personal anecdotes from my time in the Marine Corps to highlight these struggles. Reflecting on America's Christian foundation, we discuss historical figures like Benjamin Franklin and Woodrow Wilson, along with pivotal events, such as President Truman's support for the creation of Israel. So Much More: Creating Space for God (Lectio Divina and Scripture Meditation)
God’s grace is a gift—freely given and completely undeserved. In this guided meditation from Ephesians 2, we reflect on God’s unearned kindness, favor, and forgiveness that flows abundantly into our lives. God is grace. Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-10 (NLT), reminds us that: God, rich in mercy, loved us even when we were dead in our sins. We are saved by His grace, not by anything we’ve done. We are God’s masterpiece, created for the good works He prepared for us. This meditation invites you to pause and reflect on how you’ve experienced God’s grace in your life. How has His unearned kindness, favor, and forgiveness shaped your story? And what does it mean that you are His masterpiece? Take a moment to rest in this truth: Because of God’s grace, you are loved, you are redeemed, and you are created with purpose. The entire meditation text is as follows: Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-10, NLT 4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. A Partner's Stand: Defending God's Unchanging Word "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book" - Revelation 22:18 (KJV) As I record this message from beautiful southeast Missouri in January 2025, I'm deeply troubled by a growing trend in Christian publishing. A new Bible translation has emerged, one that attempts to revise God's holy Word to align with current cultural views on sexuality and other moral issues. This isn't just another modern translation - it represents something far more concerning. Let me be clear to those attempting these revisions: you don't get to change traditional Christianity and the clear teachings of Scripture simply because you don't like them. The arrogance of such attempts is staggering. Consider how you would feel if someone misrepresented your family's values or your company's mission - you would be rightfully incensed. Yet somehow, people feel entitled to tamper with God's eternal Word. But before we point fingers at the world, we in the church must examine ourselves. Why has our voice against such revisions become so weak? The uncomfortable truth is that we've often compromised on biblical truth ourselves. Take, for example, our lax attitude toward sexuality and marriage. When we compromise on clear biblical teachings, we lose our authority to speak against other compromises. This isn't about claiming personal perfection - God knows we're all sinners saved by grace. He specializes in using broken people for His glory. The Bible is filled with examples of God choosing the world's worst sinners to demonstrate His grace. But there's a crucial difference between acknowledging our failures while upholding God's standard, and lowering the standard to match our failures. We must support the clear teachings of Scripture, humbly admitting we often fall short, but never compromising the truth itself. Without Christ in our lives, we can do nothing good. If we've done anything right, it's only because Christ has enabled us. This humility, combined with unwavering commitment to biblical truth, must characterize our response to these revisionist attempts. Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant us the courage to stand firm on Your Word while maintaining humility about our own shortcomings. Help us to be bold witnesses for Your truth in a compromising age. In Jesus' name, Amen. Challenge for Today: Take time to read a passage of Scripture that challenges you personally. Instead of trying to explain it away, ask God to help you align your life with His unchanging truth. Norman Kissinger Redeeming the Time Brothers Ministries
