Let's Grab a Drink

It's funny how Ben and I met. I reached out to get him to help with a video for Three Square food bank. He was very eager to help out. We spoke to each other for months over social media but I did see him perform on the Terry Fator show on the Las Vegas Strip. He is amazing at what he does. I asked him to be on the podcast and he invited me to his home. It was almost like we had been friends for years although we were just meeting face to face for the first time. I am excited about this interview. Well, here he is; it's Ben Harris! 

I met Cheaza many moons ago. At the time she was the main singer in Peep Show at Planet Hollywood and she was killing it nightly on that show. When the producers of The Will Edwards Show saw Cheaza in action, we had to have her on the show. From that point forward we have been friends. She is a very talented young lady and she just keeps getting better and better. I'm proud to call her friend. I give you the one and only Cheaza Figueroa.

Alyx and I met at Three Square Food Bank. She is the Senior Hunger Programs Manager and is very good at what she does. I would have to say that she is one of the most optimistic people I've ever met. She's bright, funny and professional. You have to listen because she tells us how long she's known her husband, Brandon before they got married. WOW! You are going to enjoy this. I met John... I met John... Okay, I can't remember when I met John or where. I do remember that he told me at the time we met that he would open a high-end audio shop and he did just that. I have to say that I like people who do what they say and this is probably why we are friends today. So, from his shop in Downtown Las Vegas, I give you John T Marshall. 

I met Penny through a mutual friend, Mark Johnson. At that time she was working on The Amazing Jonathan Show.  She is funny, quirky and just full of life. Penny is the type of person who just loves everyone she makes a connection with. We've worked on many projects together. I give you the very talented Penny Wiggins. 

I met Justin here in Las Vegas as we were both doing some acting gigs. It was back in the day. We became friends pretty fast and kept in touch over the years. Recently, we ran into each other and I thought it would be great to go out grab a drink and catch up. It's Justin Minton.

Amanda works at Three Square Food Bank. I know her because she was my boss for a year. We shared the same office for almost a year and we worked well together to build up a department within that year. I am honored to call her friend. We talk and talk and talk when we take the time to kick back and this podcast is no different. I give you Amanda Jerzak.  

I met Ronald many years ago. He was working for Stitched and become the stylist for The Will Edwards Show for a season. I learned so much from him. He was so impressive I had to have him as my style mentor. It's always a good time meeting up and grabbing a drink with him. I give you, Ronald Smith. 

Ashanti Lewis recently joined the Three Square family and it is where I met her. She spends a great deal of her time in Carson City lobbying for bills that will aid in the fight against hunger. I got a chance to take a trip with her and a few others to attend a Nevada Legislation Session. Ashanti was on her game and I was impressed. In this podcast, we talk about everything. Take a listen. I met Seth many years ago though a mutual friend. We hit it off and have been friends ever since. I have been around as he did his magic, married the love of his life and starting a family. If you know him I'm sure you love him. It's Seth Grabel. 

Chelsea and I met a very long time ago at an actor event. we stayed in touch over the years. Worked on different movie projects together. She showed interest in producing my late-night variety talk show, The Will Edwards Show and from that point forward we have been business partners and good friends. It was an honor chatting with her. It's Chelsea Crews! 

I met James Wade through my wife, they work for the same company. He invited us to a listening party for one of his albums. I was impressed by his talent, his determination, his drive to do what he loves. It took us three tries to get this podcast interview done. I guess the third time was the charm. We talked about a lot of stuff; his music, being black in this country and what you have to do to survive and his time here in Las Vegas. I give you, James Wade. 

I booked Steven to headline the Anniversary Show for WE Funny Comedy Show in January 2017. He came on and just killed it. From that moment on, I just wanted to work with him any chance that I could. He's been back WE Funny,  I got to act in one of his comedy sketches and we are working on other projects together. This is the Season 2 Finale of Let's Grab a Drink with Will Edwards and I could not think of a more suitable guest. Sam stole me from Lynn. It's true. Our friend Lynn introduced us over Facebook and said we should get together. We met up at Sunrise Coffee Shop, talked for hours like we had been friends for years and we closed that coffee shop out. We have been friends ever since. When we get together for a catch-up session, we catch-up about everything. Ladies and gentlemen, the Queen of Rock and Roll Dogs, Sam Ratcliffe! 

I met Ulysses many years ago. He was a musical guest on my late-night talk show, The Will Edwards Show.  He had so much passion in his performance. We stayed in touch over the years and have become very good friends as a result. The conversation you are about to hear is like all of our conversations when we get together. We encourage each other all the time. He is an old school MC, songwriter, dad, son and friend. I give you Ulysses Diaz.  

I met Tab through my comedy show; WE Funny. She was always great about being on the show and was always hilarious. One thing led to another and I ended up being invited to be a guest on her podcast. Had a blast! When I left that podcast, we had her on WE Funny a few more times but it was always in the back on head that this lady must have a great story to tell. After chatting with her I realized that her store is amazing. I hope you enjoy it. 

I met James about a year ago at work. You ever meet someone and know immediately that you are going to be friends? Well for me, that's what happened when I met him. He is just good people. He's a busy man raising two boys with his wife. In his retirement from the police force, he finds himself in a new position fighting against hunger in Southern Nevada. I give you James Goddard. 

Rhayne and I became fast friends many moons ago. If she calls me and says, "I need you to help on a cancer survivor event"; I am always there for her. As she is for me. It's always very interesting talking with Rhayne because her mind works like none other. She is just brilliant, compassionate and very talented. Well, you are about to find that out. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Rhayne Thomas!   

Jason and I become friends a few years back. I was hosting an open mic in Las Vegas and he was doing comedy. I started a show called WE Funny Comedy Show. I asked Jason if he would be interested in helping me book the show, well about three years and we are still doing it. By far, one of the nicest human beings I know. I invited Jason to my place because the first bar we were going to record it was packed. Jason is a true professional and it was an honor chatting with him. We talked about stand up comedy, marriage, running and Las Vegas. Enjoy!

Keri and I became friends at work. We then found out that we live in the same apartment complex. We've had many conversations and I thought she has lived an interesting life. Thus this interview. We talk about her passions in life, her running to Boston marathon 2 times and we talk about living in Las Vegas. I hope you enjoy. 

I have known Chris for over 25 years. It's actually been 28 years and neither of us can believe it. We met in college at an audition of the college music. From that moment forward, we were best of friends. I traveled to Rutherford, NJ just minutes outside of New York City to chat with Chris while drinking a whole bottle of wine. Enjoy!

This is Season 2, Episode 1 and I'm happy to have had a chance to catch up with Sabrina Cofield. We grabbed a drink at Big Whiskey at Town Square on the Las Vegas Strip. I do believe that Sabrina and I became friends as a result of being introduced by Chelsea Crews. We chat about acting, being a black woman in the entertainment industry, working on projects together and Las Vegas!

This is Episode 10, our Season 1 finale. It is a very special episode. Keisha and I have been married for 13 years. Before getting married, we both spent many years in Scientology. This podcast is the first time we've ever spoken about our time in Scientology. Enjoy!

I have known Kelly for over 10 years now. We have worked together on films and other projects. But most importantly, he is one of my best friends in this world. We hang out often but not like this. We talk about the new film that he is about to shoot. By the time this podcast episode aired, the film was done all principle shooting. We chat about him being a first-time father, a new book and of course, his hometown of Las Vegas! 

I first met Jada at a fashion event here in Las Vegas. I was in the process of writing my book about men's fashion and she was just getting started as a stylist. We could have talked all night. Professionally we have collaborated on projects and have help each other understand dressing the opposite sex. We got a chance to chat at Sambalatte Coffee Shop in Boca Park and we learned a lot about each other. Enjoy! 

Travis and I tried to do this interview at a coffee shop but I had malfunction in the audio. I decided to invite him to my home to get it done. I met him at Show Creators Studios. He was the production intern assigned to my former show "Stripped with Will Edwards". We became fast friends and I was excited to get a chance to grab a drink and catch up. We talked about growing up, film making, the pains of being an adult, break bones and Las Vegas! 

I've known Dorian Stonebarger for over 10 years. At the time, we met through her boyfriend - now her husband. Because Derek and I were pretty close, it feels like I've been there for many of their milestones. Creating an arthouse theatre in downtown Las Vegas, Derek popping the question at curtain call of one his plays, opening a new bar, hosting their wedding reception, life changes, Derek opening another bar and yet another bar. Now I work with Dorian in Hunger Relief. We've been friends even when we didn't know it. 

I grabbed a drink with a good friend at the Rio all suites casino. He was in Las Vegas on an acting gig and we had a chance to chat and catch up. Every time he's in town, we meet up and catch up. I'm talking about my friend, Sam Dever. On this podcast we talk about acting, dating, living in LA and Las Vegas! 

Tricia is a new friend. We are both in hunger relief. She has a passion for style and fashion which is something that we share in common. She's young and has a very cool vision for her future. This is why I thought she would be great to chat with. 

I met Richard Jack through his Non-Profit called "Gentlemen By Choice". We became fast friends and support each other on many things. I get a chance to grab a drink with him at Bourbon Street Sports Bar on E. Craig Rd and the 15 in North Las Vegas. 

I get a chance to interview Evelyn Connors Leslie. We meet up at ReBar on Main Street in Downtown Las Vegas. We've known each other for about 4 years now. In that time, she got married and started a business here in Las Vegas. Listen as we chat, catch up and nothing is off limits. 

I met up with Eric at Alibi Ultra Lounge inside the Aria Casino and Resort. Eric and I have been friends for a long time. So long that we both can't remember how we met. In this podcast episode, we talk about nightlife in Vegas, business, family and his love for Las Vegas.
