It's a podcast with a bit of a difference for this episode, because we are celebrating an anniversary; 10 years ago this month was the first time that Steve, Bob and Katie stepped into a virtual studio together for a podcast charting Britain's fortunes at the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona. On this special episode we recall that first week and the events of Barcelona as well as picking one of our highlights from the last 10 years. Since we're in a nostalgic mood there's also a chance to take a look back at the last time the World Championships were in Fukuoka, where they return this month, way back in 2001 --------------------- For our interview with James Goddard go here: James Goddard Interview For more on the relay drama from Fukoka 2021 watch the video here: 20 at 20: Dramatic Relay World Title For GB in Fukuoka --------------------- Review, subscribe, share on Anchor, Apple, Google, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts --------------------- Connect on social: - Twitter @pullbuoy - Instagram @pullbuoyuk - Facebook @pullbuoyuk - YouTube --------------------- Episode Artwork: Simone Castrovillari

JAMES GODDARD - Freedom For A Day - James Goddard got into Real Estate in 1992 in an area where he was not known, by 1995 he was in on 10% of all sales that occurred in that county and number one in the State in closed transactions for Prudential Real Estate. In 1996 he Purchased part of a Coldwell Banker Franchise and started over 50 miles away. Within 3 years he was tops in the State again in closed transactions and was many more times over the next 10 years. In 2006 he sold off the franchise (after quadrupling the sales), for more than 12 times the purchase price. In 2008, while the average agents income went down over 30% in his State, his went up over 15%, worked less, and took the final 2 months of the year off and was once again tops for his Franchise in the State in closed transactions. In March of 2009 he retired from active selling to promote his book Freedom For a Day, with the premise of "what if you believed for just one day that everything would work out perfectly" explaining how we are our own worst enemies, and can achieve anything. Today he speaks motivationally, and to sales forces on their potential, and how to and what Social Media to use. - www.jamesgoddard.com For Your Listening Pleasure all the radio shows available on The 'X' Zone Broadcast Network with our compliments, visit - https://www.spreaker.com/user/xzoneradiotv. Matthew Collins, Head of Intel at Hope not Hate, discusses the new approach of the British far right in their desperate bid for attention. In recent days various individuals have been seen wearing the hi-viz vests of the french anti-Macron protesters while abusing journalists and MPs outside of the UK parliament. Matthew warns that this is not a movement just another costume for a post-organisational, DIY, and donation thirsty bunch of ne'er-do-wells. The light of journalistic exposure has already begun to show some of the figureheads for what they really are. Duncan Cahill joins Matthew for this short episode that explains the significance of these protests, and provides an insight into some of the mucky motivations and murky characters (such as the nazi Nick Griffin) lurking behind the scenes.

We consume a lot of noise, but we rarely get the opportunity to reflect on how it affects us. This is the third in a series of 5-minute immersive noise meditations by four different artists. The sonic tone Ut from the Gregorian scale is said to alleviate guilt and free the listener from anxiety and fear. In this meditation, we wallow in Ut. James Goddard makes music as Skin Tone. Meditation begins at 2:00. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
sharing a live set by Skin Tone performed at Casa del Popolo during Suoni per il Popolo 2017. this performance was broadcast on Free City Radio, live on @radiockut on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017. Skin Tone, is a project by James Goddard, who sent this text to describe this track : « Here is the live set, recorded on June 17th at Casa Del Popolo, part of Slut Island's co-presentation with Suoni per il Popolo. It's been post-facto titled "Butchering The Sun God". The Sun Ra line I'm referencing was from a statement he made on Scanadanavian television in the 70s. An accurate transcription of the line would be : "It's all about people doing something else other than what they have already done, cause what they have done is the possible. And the world the way it is today is the results of the possible that they did." »
