We are a Christian, Bible based Church based in Chatfield, Texas. Our goal is to express the love and simplicity of Jesus Christ and propogate the Gospel throughout the World. We remove the complications and restrictions of Religion and stick with the written Word of God. Our Church is based on the foundations described in the book of Acts as Peter started the first Church. The love of the Father is available to all and that is what we make clear to all.

What are you doing about it? What does the Bible say we should do about it? Hopefully, the answers to the last question will be answered in this episode as we review and discuss part of Jesus' Sermon on The Mount in Matthew 5:43-48Thank you for listening to our podcast. In this episode we look at what the scripture says about trusting in the Lord, not ourselves or in mankind. We look at Psalm 118:8, Proverbs 3:5-6, and 2Corinthians 1:8-9. We must pray about every move we make and every thing we see and hear to make sure it is from the Lord. Support the show
Since it is 3/16, I thought this would be a good time to review John 3:16. I also discuss what a friend of mine shared with me about the image and depiction of the cross in modern day. I also shortly discuss how easily it is to be swayed by the devil and how quick we can sometimes forget that the attacks sneak in. Support the show
In this episode we discuss what the scripture says about speaking in tongues in church. I was asked if this is appropriate and correct, so we go in and review the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14. We read and review all of chapter 14 in this episode, but I recommend that you read it all from chapter 12 thru 15 before listening as we focus on chapter 14. We then discuss 1Thessalonians 5:16-28, and how we can combat this spirit and protect ourselves. In this episode, we take a break from our current series and take advantage of an unexpected visit from my friend Mr. Red Maust. He gives his testimony about being recently led back to church.
In this episode, we discuss working for the Lord, not working for man. What is our priority in our daily walk? Is it to make sure that we are following and getting approval of man or the world, or is it seeking the approval of God? This episode identifies a stumbling block in our spiritual walk that many may not realize is hindering us.
In this episode we discuss being on the spiritual milk vs. the strong meat. We show through scripture that the Holy Spirit resides within every believer, and it is up to us to reach within us to get it and see it manifest.
In this episode we discuss the fact that there is evil in this world and that we are to be the light, in the darkness that is evil, in order to overcome it. We are to be doers of the word and not hearers only.
From whom do you seek approval? Is it form man or from God? In this episode we discuss the Titantic vs. the Ark. Which one succeeded and which one failed? We look at scripture that talks about the approval of man and the knowledge of man vs. God.
In this episode, John and Steve look into how we often get in our own way of receiving our blessings and realizing the plan God has for our lives. Just as in the Bible, it took forty years to make an eleven day journey into the promised land for the same reason.

In this episode, we look at some of the things that Peter got to do and see both during and after his walk with Jesus. Then, we go back to the first day when they met, and he let Jesus onto his boat after a long hard night of fishing.
In this episode, we use the scripture to identify what the church is. We sometimes get comfortable assuming the church is the building when in fact it is the body within the building. We also identify that the harvest is plentiful in this world and we must get out and do the labor in order to bring in the harvest for the glory of the Father. In this episode, we discuss 1 Peter 5:1-11. In this scripture, the word speaks of the responsibility of the elders to take charge of educating the younger generation. It also speaks of the responsibility of the younger generation to humble themselves to the teachings of the elders. If we expect Godly ways to infiltrate our society once more, and if we want to see the generational change, we must follow the word and demonstrate and teach these things to the up and coming generations. We must also humble ourselves to eachother, so that we may learn from one another, and most importantly, humble ourselves before the Lord in order to improve our walk with Christ. In this episode we review the scripture which tells us to be "doers" of the word, not just "hearers" We also discuss the need to combine faith with works. the scripture says that faith without works is dead, just like the body without the soul is dead. Merely believing and hearing, without doing and working is not enough. You may say "I believe in Jesus Christ" or perhaps "I can quote the scripture", but the evil one also believes in Jesus, and he too knows the scripture: so what seperates you from the evil one? Works, what you do, combined with faith and hearing of the word. What kind of fruit are you producing?
In this episode, we review the scriptures where God says he is faithful to his promises, merciful, and will not forsake you. God is always with you even when you think he has forgotton you. His word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
As God's children, He will always supply our daily needs and our daily bread. In receiving Jesus Christ, who is the bread of life, we are no longer hungry but full.
Often we have trouble trusting in the Lord and his book of truth because we tend to compare it to trusting mankind and things of the world. Those things will often let us down but our Father in Heaven is trustworthy, he never lies and his scriptures are true and stand strong. The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord, it is high time we start doing that.
It has been said that your "comfort zone" is your dead zone. This means that sometimes when we get comfortable, we tend to get complacent, thus limiting what we can do in our own lives and in the Kingdom. We must make moves with intention, and step out of that comfort zone.
Matther 7:15-23John Ellington and guest Michael Ramos speak of the scripture relating to wolves in sheep's clothing within the church and how they mislead and turn people away from Christ. You can always identify if something is of God by the fruit it produces. We must listen to all, and compare with the truth, which is the Bible.
Lamentations 3:19-26. John Ellington with guest Michael Ramos discuss the scripture as it relates to reflections of the past, the mercy and compassion of Jesus, and the need for patience.
We take a look at Genesis chapter 22. We focus on vs. 10-13 where God shows up to intervene right at the last minute. We look at how this affects us today and is a test of our faith in Christ. How many times has God shown up to intervene in your life's problem right at the last minute? How was you faith standing in that time? Has your faith improved, knowing that he always shows up, even if it is the last hour? Have you learned and grown stronger in faith because of this?
This is the testimony of a Brother in Christ, Mr. David Nelson. David tells of a childhood tragedy, the brutal death of his Father, in a senseless act of violence. David tells how God was ever-present and brought him to where he is today.

As we move into the latest trend of "The New Normal" let us be reminded of what God calls normal, and how many times we have started a new normal. Let your new normal begin with Christ and the book of truth at the center of all you do.
What scripture says about not embracing or living in the past. How God says he is creating a new thing and does not count your past against you.
What scripture says about not being ashamed of professing the Gospel. Taking steps to boldly tell others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This episode speaks of God's plan to prosper you and give you peace and eternal life, regardless of your past.
This episode answers the question of will we be punished by God for our former doubt in his existence. This episode also speaks of evil roaming the world trying to take you away from following Christ through false prophets.
How to recognize oppression for what it is and not be swayed from your faith or your gifts.
What the Bible says about all Christians being of one body and how to handle conflict.
When Peter stepped out of the boat and focused on Jesus, he was walking on water. As soon as he turned his eyes from Jesus and focused on the storm, he bagan to sink. The two fold lesson here is don't be afraid to step out of the boat, and if you do, stay focused on Jesus.
During these times of seclusion, don't let evil creep into your mind. God is with you always!
How we can be forgiven our sins committed after Baptism as we walk with Christ.
