Have you ever felt called to something big — but felt unqualified, unprepared, or even scared? In this episode of Chosen By Jesus with Kelley Tyan and Taylor Tyan, we dive deep into why God doesn't call the qualified — He qualifies the called. We share our own stories of starting scared — from teaching without experience, to launching a business with no formal training, to writing a book and stepping into ministry. If you've been waiting for perfect conditions, this is your sign to take the first step in faith. Through real-life examples and biblical encouragement, we'll show you how to trade the pain of regret for the blessing of obedience. You'll learn: Why waiting until you “feel ready” keeps you stuck How God uses your weakness to display His power Practical ways to push past fear and take the next step What the Bible says about trusting God in uncertainty Key Scriptures: Ecclesiastes 11:4 – Stop waiting for perfect conditions 2 Corinthians 12:9 – God's power in your weakness Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust Him with the next step Hebrews 11:8 – Faith to go without knowing the whole plan If you've ever said, “I'll start when I feel ready” — this episode will give you the faith-fueled push to start now. ⸻ Want to go deeper? It's about aligning your purpose with a message that matters — and finally having the courage to share it.
The Unqualified Observers, Kelham and Thomas, are back after a little hiatus and that means it's time to sit down and discuss another movie. This time it is a recent Australian horror movie, "Talk to Me." Have you ever wondered what a casual possession game and stupid teenagers would create if given enough time together? Well there is no need to wonder, 2022's Talk to Me gives us a glimpse into this exact scenario. From breaking the rules to ignoring warning signs, the characters in this film really decide to put themselves through the ringer, all for fun and games. But their torment is our pleasure, and the only way to find out how that torment went down is to listen to the latest episode. Don't worry, even with all the craziness in the movie, there is still plenty of time for the tangents we all know you love.As always, please rate, review, subscribe, and share this podcast to help it continue to grow and find new audiences.Contact Us: Email - unqualifiedobservers@gmail.comSocials - @observecast @unqualifiedobserversKelham - @coolgollumThomas - @stimpyisking
In this powerful and deeply personal message, Christine Caine walks us through the earliest questions found in Scripture—Did God really say? Where are you? Who told you?—and how they still echo in our hearts today. Through the story of Adam and Eve and her own incredible testimony of abuse, rejection, adoption, and redemption, Christine shares how shame tried to shape her identity—but the truth of God's Word broke every lie. This message is a reminder that no label, no trauma, and no past can define you when God has already spoken the truth about who you are. Unnamed. Unwanted. Unqualified. Yet chosen. Called. And loved. If you've ever wondered whether God really said something about you, this episode will challenge you to believe again, hope again, and live free.

You feel that tug to help others—but deep down, you wonder if you're really qualified. No title. No platform. Just a heart that wants to serve. In this episode, Natasha Miller shares the truth that changed everything for her: the very thing you think disqualifies you might be exactly what God wants to use. If you're a Christian woman wrestling with insecurity, doubt, or fear of stepping into your calling—this conversation will show you why obedience, not perfection, is what God uses to change lives. You don't need permission to be a blessing. You just need to say yes.

“When you have a team that talks to only people who can buy, usually their close rate increases 80 to 100%. And then the back end, you're able to kind of feed that data back into your marketing… 28% on average reduction over the course of 90 to 120 days in your lead cost.” Wasting time on calls with buyers who can't buy isn't just bad for business—it's demoralizing. But what if you could know exactly who's qualified before they ever hit your calendar? And what if that same process made things better for your buyers, too? SimpleCheck lets you pre-qualify leads using soft credit data, so your sales team only talks to people who can afford to say yes—while everyone else gets routed to free content or lower-commitment offers that match their needs. Buyers avoid the shame of overreaching or being pitched things they can't afford. Sellers get higher close rates and lower ad costs. Everyone wins. One Year Bible Podcast: Join Hunter and Heather Barnes on 'The Daily Radio Bible' for a daily 20-minute spiritual journey. Engage with scripture readings, heartfelt devotionals, and collective prayers that draw you into the heart of God's love. Embark on this year-long voyage through the Bible, and let each day's passage uplift and inspire you. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible! On this July 19th episode, host Hunter guides us through Day 201 of our year-long journey through the Scriptures. Today's readings include 2 Kings 17, 2 Chronicles 28, Psalm 46, and James 3. Hunter brings us into the heart of these passages—reflecting on Israel's exile, the rise and fall of kings, God's steadfast presence in times of trouble, and the challenge of taming our tongues. As always, Hunter reminds us that this daily practice is about more than just reading; it's about being transformed by the love of God and letting that love shape our hearts, words, and lives. Join us as we seek wisdom, peace, and purpose together—one day, and one walk, at a time. TODAY'S DEVOTION: When he tames our heart with his love, our lives are changed. It's as if we've been reborn. We begin to live a different kind of life. James is contrasting two different kinds of life here. There is the Spirit-filled life, evidenced by a heart that's being tamed by his love. And there is the heart of the flesh. James points to something as simple and mundane as the tongue and our words. And he shows us that this little tongue of ours simply cannot be tamed. It can't be controlled. It often controls us. It creates circumstances in our lives that are simply beyond or out of our control. It's a flame of fire, he says, and that fire finds its source in hell itself. He tells us that if we could control the tongue, we'd be perfect. But alas, we can't even control this tiny little tongue of ours. And we are not perfect. We can't even affect the change we want in something as simple as the use of our words. It's as futile as trying to draw fresh water from a salty spring, James says. But in Christ, our heart is tamed by his love, and we begin to participate with that love. And we begin to learn to draw from the refreshing springs of Christ, his presence with us, in us, daily. We experience something completely different. In Christ, we can learn to have wisdom that is pure and peace-loving. We can learn to be gentle. We can learn to yield to others, to show mercy, to be sincere, to not show favoritism. We can learn to be peacemakers. A life tamed by his love, in the end, will yield a harvest of righteous living. James is describing in such beautiful detail here what the Spirit-filled life looks like. And that life is possible if we want it. It's not possible on our own effort, but it is possible when we are captivated, tamed by the love of God. So let us look into the face of Christ and see the One who is Love itself. Let us behold the manner of love that has been poured out on us. Unqualified, unconditional, fully received, fully embraced. Let us live in this love of his and let us participate with the Spirit's work by offering that love to others, even today. That's the prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Merciful God, you have brought us through the night. Into this new day, we offer you our lives again. Our hopes, our fears, our work, our rest. Keep us faithful in the little things. And mindful of your presence in every moment. Let us not be led by anxiety or pride, but by your peace that passes all understanding through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. Lord Jesus, you stretched wide your arms on the cross to draw all people to yourself. Draw the hurting, the hungry, the weary. Break down every wall of hostility and build us into one family by your spirit. Amen. And now, Lord, teach me to walk not with fear, but with faith. Where there is noise, let me be still. Where there is boasting, let me be quiet. Where there is suffering, let me kneel. Let me not crave recognition, but righteousness, not applause, but communion. For in you I have life, and in dying with you, I rise. Amen. And now, as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. https://jo.my/9bd7hx Electrical Safety Awareness: Qualified vs. Unqualified Personnel One spark can shut down a whole loading line. That's why a strong safety culture keeps electrical work in the right hands and out of everyone else's. Qualified vs. Unqualified Personnel is more than a label—it's a line that protects every pallet, product, and person in the facility. A qualified employee has the training, tools, and judgment to work on live circuits and other electrical activities. Everyone else is unqualified by default. Clear? Good. Because blurred lines around electricity can lead to injuries, fires, costly downtime, and even death. It is essential to maintain clear and accurate documentation. Here are a few tips to assist you with Qualified vs. Unqualified Personnel: Know where you stand. If you haven't completed task- and voltage-specific training, step back and call a qualified teammate. Guesswork and electricity never mix. Hands off the panel. Never pull a dead-front or breaker cover unless your name is on the electrical-qualified roster and you're following an energy-control procedure. Spot and report damage fast. Exposed conductors, cracked cord jackets, or taped-up plugs belong on a work order, not in service. Tag them out and log the hazard before someone forgets. Respect the approach boundaries. Arc-flash labels highlight the dangers of proximity to unqualified staff. Use marked floors or barricades so visiting drivers and temps know where “too close” starts. Refresh skills regularly. Electrical tasks change as equipment ages. Schedule annual practice on test meters, PPE checks, and lockout steps to ensure “qualified” personnel stay current. Keeping unqualified hands away from energized parts reduces almost every electrical incident we see. It also stops the silent costs—lost production, fried electronics, and emergency contractor bills. Regulations require you to match training to both the task and the voltage. That's not red tape; it's a roadmap. Follow it and you'll gain confidence, speed, and better uptime. One of the top priorities of a solid Safety Culture is ensuring the well-being of everyone, both inside and outside the workplace. Your commitment to clear roles, swift reporting, and ongoing training makes that priority real. Keep the line bright. Keep the power flowing safely. Thank you for joining us for another episode of Warehouse Safety Tips. Until we meet next time – have a great week, and STAY SAFE! #Safety #SafetyFIRST #SafetyALWAYS #StaySafe #SafetyCulture #ElectricalSafety #QualifiedPersonnel

2 episodes ago I did a solo episode called “I Don't Qualify to be a Gatekeeper”. I got so many messages about it, I wanted to add a little more perspective, more stories and even countering some of my points based on experiences. Big admission at the end. I might regret it. So he had a question about his lead quality. His audience is executives and entrepreneurs. He said in the past, he kept getting unqualified leads from Facebook. He was wondering, are they active on Facebook or does he need to use LinkedIn for this type of audience? OK. So to you, I would say kind sir, welcome to the club...
This week Jon asks a simple question; what do you need to say yes too? Saying yes can be terifying especially when we feel unqualified. The Scriptures are littered with men and women who were not qualified but still were called into the service of our Savior. How can this be possible? The simple answer is this: our Savior is qualified! This week devotion shares the following Scriptures: Exodus 3.11; 3.13; 4.1; 4.10; 4.13 Isaiah 56.8-9 Ephesians 3.20 If you wish to discuss this topic in further detail, feel free to reach out to Jon directly at jon@christianoutdoors.org. Are you looking for a speaker for your next event? Pete and Jon would love to fill your need! Let us know how we can serve you!
A discussion about the impact that uncertified teachers can have on a child's learning and education. Last year, nearly 400,000 uncertified teachers were reported to be employed in school districts across the country, largely to combat a teacher shortage. In addition, it has been reported that many states have lowered the standards and requirements teachers once needed to enter the classroom. Tonight, Dr. Phil will discuss the impact these solutions could have on American students. Dr. Phil will speak with Amber Shields, a former principal and non-profit education leader who claims districts have prioritized filling teaching vacancies over the education of the students, which can result in months of lost learning. Dr. Phil will also speak with Jessenia who says she he was hired as a long-term substitute without even a formal interview, credentials, or prior experience. Jessenia admits, a student truly passionate about a particular subject could probably teach the class better than she could. Plus, Dr. Phil will speak with Aurora who says she was stunned when she received an email from her son's principal that his 6th grade science teacher is uncertified and had been instructing him for months. Aurora says she had no clue that schools were even allowed to hire a teacher that had no certification, and says there is nothing she can do, because her son is required to take the class, and the district is not going to fire the teacher.
