In this video, our father, Dr. Kay Ijisesan teaches that humility is key to walking in divine purpose. He stresses that some people are placed in your grace space, and it takes both humility and alignment to tap into what God has prepared through them. There are times when you must cut off distractions and pull away from obsessions. He further indicated that there is a purpose over your life, and you cannot afford to blow it.To fully step into that purpose, you need to build the capacity of faithfulness. Faithfulness enlarges your capacity so that God can entrust you with more. This is a season of favour, but it is not favour without meaning. It is favour with a purpose. As 2 Corinthians 5:21 declares, we are ambassadors of Christ. Your purpose is always bigger than your personal existence.Dr. Kay concludes the preaching by indicating that humility opens the door, faithfulness sustains the journey, and alignment positions you for divine purpose.ABOUT THE NEWWe are a people of love and excellence who are result-oriented, spirit-led, word-rooted, prayer-driven, and kingdom-conscious. Led by Pst. Shola Okodugha, we are on a divine assignment to equip and raise men; to release people from strongholds that have stifled them from taking their rightful places, and to give young people an avenue for their God-given gifts to find expression.OUR CREED"As sure as God helps us,We will not give upWe will not cave inWe will not quitWe will not failWe will not dieUntil our job is doneAnd victory is won"——CHAPTERS:0:00 - 4:17 - Intro4:18 - 16:22 - Pre-Service chat16:23 - 19:49 - Call to worship19:50 - 25:13 - Prayer session25:14 - 51:32 - Praise and worship51:33 - 1:04:09 - Fireside chat (NXTCON'25)1:04:10 - 1:08:11 - Announcement/Dr. Kay's Welcome1:08:12 - 2:07:38 - The Word2:07:39 - 2:15:08 - Prayers/Prophetic declarations with PS2:15:09 - 2:22:09 - Tithes and offerings2:22:10 - 2:31:56 - Announcement/First Timers' Welcome2:31:57 - 2:38:11 - Announcement2:38:12 - 2:45:06 - The Creed2:45:07 - 2:47:20 - After service chat2:47:21 - 2:49:40 - Outro——BROADCAST DETAILSMinister: Pastor Shola OkodughaDate: Sunday, September 28, 2025——Stay ConnectedSubscribe to the latest content: http://bit.ly/subscribethenewliveWebsite: http://wearethenew.org/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wearethenew_global/#TheNewLive #SholaOkodugha

This message was inspired by the passing of Charlie Kirk. I don't believe he was truly a racist in real life — I met him, spent time with him, and saw another side. But his last posts online give the opposite impression. That reality made me reflect:
Unlock the spiritual and communal power of charity within Judaism as Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe guides us through the teachings of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch. Discover the profound obligation each of us carries to give within our means, regardless of financial status, and how this act of giving can be a catalyst for both personal and spiritual growth. With insights from the Gaon of Vilna, we explore the distinction between tithes and personal charity, affirming that every act of giving holds equal value in the eyes of the Divine, whether it comes from abundance or modest means.Navigate the complexities of charitable giving with a heartfelt discussion on the guidelines rooted in Jewish tradition. Learn how to support individuals based on their previous lifestyles and the importance of maintaining dignity for both giver and receiver. Rabbi Wolbe highlights the thoughtful balance between personal financial stability and the aspiration to give generously, stressing that charity is not just an act of kindness but a profound commitment to communal harmony and peace. Our conversation also emphasizes the essential role of supporting both Jewish and non-Jewish individuals in need.Witness the transformative power of dignified charitable initiatives within the Jewish community. Rabbi Wolbe shares stories of organizations like Tomche Shabbat and a unique clothing charity in Brooklyn, both of which prioritize preserving the dignity and self-esteem of recipients. By offering gift cards instead of food boxes and creating store-like environments for clothing selection, these initiatives empower those in need, allowing them to maintain their dignity. We close with a reflection on the spiritual connection between giving and Hashem, celebrating the divine blessing of being able to give the finest in the spirit of true generosity. To have your questions featured on the Ask Away series, please submit your questions at askaway@torchweb.org_____________The Everyday Judaism Podcast is dedicated to learning, understanding and appreciating the greatness of Jewish heritage and the Torah through the simplified, concise study of Halacha, Jewish Law, thereby enhancing our understanding of how Hashem wants us to live our daily lives in a Jewish way._____________This Podcast Series is Generously Underwritten by Marshall & Doreen LernerDownload & Print the Everyday Judaism Halacha Notes:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RL-PideM42B_LFn6pbrk8MMU5-zqlLG5This episode (Ep. #56) of the Everyday Judaism Podcast by Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe of TORCH is dedicated to my dearest friends, Marshall & Doreen Lerner! In this conversation with Rabbanit Dr. Adina Sternberg, we explore how the tithes mentioned in this week's parsha can refine our sense of gratitude. We explore the difference between a 'maaser' mindset and a 'reishit' mindset through an original Torah idea written by Adina. To read more of Adina's Torah, check out her Hebrew book on the holidays here. This week's episode has been sponsored in honor of Rabbi Ed and Bobbie Winter's 60th wedding anniversary by their children and grandchildren. Mazal tov!

Help us, whenever possible, to live in peace with others, to seek reconciliation and healing and forgiveness. For Your Son came and lived among us, was betrayed and denied, abused and put to death. He rose again and came with the message of peace to those who had denied him and abandoned him. May we walk in his ways. Amen. Silently Confess Our Sins Assurance of Pardon For nothing is impossible with God. There is no place you can go, no end of the earth you can run, where God cannot find you. There is nothing on earth or beyond death that can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. You are forgiven. You are loved. You are reconciled to God. Go and live with the love of God. Amen. *The Apostles’ Creed #881 *Glory Be to the Father #70 Children’s Chat Scripture – Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18 Pastor: The Word of God for the people of God. Caleb Drahosh There's nothing that we have that isn't given to us by God. God is the Creator of everyone and everything and so all things belong to Him first. The foundation of giving for the Christian is the generosity of God. No act of generosity is greater than the giving of Jesus Christ. Reflecting God's generosity is commanded in Scripture. This is done by taking a portion of what one has been given by God and giving it back to Him in the way that He commands.

Have you noticed how the pleasures of life are fading away? Music, movies, celebrations, even simple joys—things that once brought us happiness now feel empty. Creativity is gone, joy is disappearing, and entertainment feels like a burden instead of a blessing. This isn't just coincidence—it's Bible prophecy unfolding before our very eyes. The Book of Enoch, Isaiah, Ecclesiastes, and many other scriptures foretold a time when “all the pleasures of life will vanish” and “the daughters of music shall be brought low.”
Comments? Questions? Send us a message! This is the second of a three part series on pastors and leaders discipling the saints in the areas of giving and stewardship Not always an easy topic to address, but important. Jesus taught His disciples on the subjects of giving and stewardship.Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples, teaching people to observe all things He has commanded us.Therefore, we are to teach people about giving and stewardship as part of our discipling curriculum. These short episodes are designed to give some practical ideas and tools to the equippers. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will make at least some of these concepts useful to the hearers. For Poimen Ministries, its staff, ministries, and focus, go to poimenministries.com. August 10, 2025 – Tithes [English Translation] by Immovable Foundation Church
Too often, we only hear about the curses of God's Laws. Yes, our people have suffered under those curses, but that's not the whole story. The Word of God promises that if we keep His statutes, commandments, and judgments, we will prosper in all that we do — not just in the Kingdom to come, but today. In this message, I share my personal testimony of how seeking God has brought me success, health, strength, and peace — and how turning away from Him brought the opposite. The Bible declares:“Keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways… that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.” – 1 Kings 2:3 (KJV)God's Laws were given to us not just to warn us of curses but to usher us into blessings:Deuteronomy 28:1-3 – Obedience brings blessings in the city and in the country.Judith 5:21 – If there is no iniquity in us, our God will defend us.Joshua 1:8 – Meditating on His Law leads to good success. This is not just about ancient Israel — this is about you, today. Your wealth, your health, your strength, and your success all come from the Lord. His Laws were meant to make you prosper and keep you in perfect health.

I just turned 40 years old — a milestone I never dreamed I'd see. Growing up in the hood, surviving war in Iraq, burying friends and family, sleeping in my car, battling depression, and even staring down death itself — I shouldn't be here. But by God's grace… I'm still here. And if you're reading this, then you're still here too — and that means God still has a plan for you.
