AI companies are hitting growth milestones in record time—some reaching $100 million in revenue in just two years. But while this pace feels familiar in tech, healthcare has always been slower to adopt new tools. That may finally be changing.Kent Bennett and Sofia Guerra of Bessemer Venture Partners join Steve Kraus to unpack findings from Bessemer's State of AI 2025 report and what they mean for healthcare. From “supernovas” and “shooting stars” to the rise of systems of action, they explore how AI is reshaping not only software businesses but also the way doctors, health systems, and patients interact with technology. We cover:

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.[c] 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. 5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. 6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. 7 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. 8 Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields[d] with fire. 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/faith-love-trust--3493635/support.

In the 26th message of our “Unveiling Yahweh” series, we will be looking at what it means for God to be an ever-present Father. The Bible testifies to the fact that, when a person is born again, the gracious Father who adopted them provides them with everything they need to live the victorious Christian life. In today's sermon, Dustin Renz gives us four significant reminders about what God's fatherhood means for the true child of God, and also invites those who are bound in sin to enter in to this wonderful relationship. This week we explore what it means that God is ever-present. God is able to be fully present everywhere and at all times. We, unlike God, are bound to be in one place at one time though often deceive ourselves into thinking we can live beyond our limits. How do we learn to live within our boundaries and what might it look like to grow in our ability to sense God right where we are, wherever we are? In this episode, I share a recent experience I had where I was able to heal a past version of self from the power of the ever-present now moment. What was so powerful about this moment was that the memory I have of this past moment included the recognition of the presence of a guardian angel or spirit guide. It wasn't until a week ago that this memory from over 20 years ago came full circle in a way that brought me to tears.17:55 is the minute-marker for the guided practice.ResourcesCompassionate Witness by Ascension GlossaryDisclaimer: This podcast is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only and does not substitute individual psychological advice.

These Days - James | Ever-Present Dynamics - 7 | Pastor Chris Heller James 3:13-18 & 4:1-12 This week in our fall sermon series James will ask, “What causes quarrels and fights among you?” He knows the answer, and it may surprise you! Relationship tension does not only wreck our peace, it wrecks our future. Could it be why many people bemoan just wishing to be by themselves? But is isolation the answer? So often, once we're isolated from others, we feel the most vulnerable and in distress. This duplicity of saying one thing and doing another comes up often in the book of James as being “double minded.” Join us this week as we unpack that concept. The psalmist said, “God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress.”

The universe, points out economist Noah Smith, is always trying to kill us, whether through asteroids hurtling through space or our every-few-hours hunger pains. Why, then, should we expect anything but a gravitational pull toward poverty? Listen as Smith explains to EconTalk's Russ Roberts why he believes that poverty will always be our "elemental foe," and how what he calls "industrial modernity" is key to keeping poverty at bay. They also discuss Smith's impatience with the "degrowth movement," which he thinks jeopardizes our gains in the fight against the elemental foe.

Gospel Scripture: (all NIV) Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:24 “and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:25 (a) “God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.” Hebrews 9:22 (b) “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:11 “Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Luke 15:10 says “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 1:13–14 “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession- to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:15–23 “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” Ephesians 2:8–10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.“ Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.“ Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
