What do you do when you're in a wilderness season — fighting, praying, believing — and things still look dry and unchanged? In this Walk It Out Wednesday teaching, Pastor Don Johnson revisits Jesus' temptation in Matthew 4 to uncover how the wilderness is your launching pad to greatness — where the private fight prepares you for public success. You'll learn how your God-identity sustains you in adversity and why the wilderness is designed for maturity, not misery. You can overcome weariness and make a significant shift by using the Word with strategy, clarity, and strength. Get answers to key questions you may be wrestling with: • Why does my wilderness season keep repeating? • How do I stay hopeful during hardship and delays? • How do I find strength when I feel alone? • Can I thrive in a dry season? Breakthrough Moment: Every wilderness has a purpose — and God never lets you walk through one without preparing you for the victory on the other side. Sweet friend, Jesus will set your heart FREE! Join us on the podcast for day 16 of our BRAND NEW 30-day audio devotional: Living a Lifestyle of Prayer. This plan was lovingly created by the team at Help Club for Moms: moms just like you, with a heart for Jesus and for moms. Each devotional was prayerfully written to lead you into the heart of God for prayer, a journey that will strengthen you as a mom and draw you closer to Jesus.
You don't get to choose your wilderness, but you do get to choose how you fight in it. In “The Rumble in the Jungle,” Pastor Don Johnson shows us that the battles we face aren't signs of weakness — they're signs of promotion. Just like a boxer enters the ring focused on victory, Matthew 4 reveals Jesus stepped into the wilderness already equipped, already affirmed, and already undefeated. The space between who you are and who you are becoming is a fight. The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus has already secured your victory! Let this timely message show you: • Why God leads you into uncomfortable places • How to discern real opportunities from traps • How to resist shortcuts that sabotage identity • Why your anointing attracts attacks • How to fight back with the Word If you're weary, vulnerable, or under pressure, this is your reminder: You have already won. Now fight like it. Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Pastor Cora Jakes, Pastor Don Johnson, and Dr. Oscar Williams come together for a panel that's going to shake something loose in your spirit. In this Walk It Out Wednesday service, they dive into the book of Exodus and unpack the powerful truth: Your isolation already has an expiration date, and God's the one who set it. Your participation is required in your own deliverance. How are you actually participating by faith? There's a difference between reacting to the storm and responding with faith. You have to face your own stuff to participate in your freedom. The panel tackles questions that you've been battling with: How do I move from isolation into ministry? How do I reach someone who's isolated but won't admit it? What's my purpose and where am I even supposed to go? How do I trust God enough to let go? Bottom line: Every isolation comes with an assignment. Just like God rerouted every wrong turn for Israel, He's been doing the same for you. Many of us struggle to ask for help. We find ourselves trapped in isolation that makes us believe no one fully understands our struggles. But Sarah Jakes Roberts delivered a liberating word: God never intended isolation to be a destination; it's meant to be a place of divine encounter. Too much isolation distorts our identity, causing us to forget who we are, what we believe, and where we're called. The woman with the issue of blood heard about Jesus while in isolation, but she broke out of it to pursue transformation. We need that same faith to break out before we settle. The anxieties and divisions devastating our world cannot be overcome in isolation. It's time to surrender the place of isolation, open up to let God's glory in, and allow others to care for you. This requires sacrifice and moving in Gpd's timing, not the world's schedule. The expiration date on your isolation has arrived. In part 2 of this message, Pastor Brandon unpacks Jesus' teaching on how to pray effectively, not like the hypocritical religious leaders or the mindless pagans, but in a way that truly connects with the heart of God. Jesus warns us against praying for attention, using empty repetition, or treating prayer like a performance. Instead, He gives us the Lord's Prayer, not as a ritual to recite, but as a template for meaningful, personal, and powerful communication with our Father in heaven. Discover how to: ✅ Pray with sincerity, not showmanship ✅ Align your will with God's purposes ✅ Build a private, authentic relationship with the Father ✅ Use the Lord's Prayer as a framework for deeper, effective prayer Let Jesus' words transform your prayer life from routine to relationship!

FIGHT THE DEVIL — Part 3 Message: *The Power of Agreement* Your heart, left on its own, tends to drift out of alignment. The enemy doesn't always show up loud — sometimes he just gets you to *agree* with the wrong things, one small drift at a time. In this message, Pastor Harrison unpacks what it means to be *yoked* — to come into agreement — and how the enemy uses subtle alignments to pull us off course. But the good news is: Jesus offers a better yoke. One that brings freedom, peace, and rest for your soul.
Deep down, you know you were never meant to stay where you are. The ache you feel isn't failure — it's God stirring your spirit to move. In “The Nomadic Life,” Touré Roberts reveals that following Jesus means embracing movement — spiritually, mentally, and physically. Jesus Himself lived as a nomad, moving wherever the Father led. Likewise, we must release comfort, renew our minds, and follow God's provision wherever it flows. The nomadic life is not instability — it's alignment. It's learning to discern when to move, when to rest, and how to stay postured for purpose. If you've felt stuck, God may be calling you to shift. His promises for you are already settled. Stop letting your flesh lead you into dangerous waters. This dynamic panel discussion with Dr. Valerie Crumpton, Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Pastor Cora Jakes, and Pastor Don Johnson follows up on Sunday's message, “Get Out of Your Way.” Their conversation highlights how we have the tendency to sabotage our own spiritual growth. Pastor Johnson shares how Jesus in Gethsemane reveals that most of us have a hearing problem, not an obedience problem; while Dr. Crumpton examines how the garden represents God's classroom where the process of life and death cultivates us. This Walk It Out Wednesday encourages us to refrain from coveting someone else's promise, but instead understand that the process is for you to become more like the One who ordains it. Questions Answered from The House: How do I know what God has promised me and fully serve Him? How do I remain in the process without getting distracted or discouraged? Do you discover your identity in the process or promise? Join this conversation and make sure to bring your questions every Wednesday! The very thing you've been praying for may require you to become the answer. In this transformative message, Sarah Jakes Roberts reminds us that we are often the answers to our own prayers, and God has always had us in His plan. Drawing from Matthew 26:37-46, where we find Jesus in His most relatable moment, sorrowful and uncertain in the Garden of Gethsemane, she distinguishes between God's promise and our process: “The promise depends on God; the process depends on you.” While we focus on the promise, God uses the process to transform us into the version that can carry it. This version will allow us to look more like Him. Just as God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before releasing them to have dominion over the earth, He positions us in smaller places to cultivate the character needed for greater purpose. The process God has placed you in isn't about getting what you desire; it's about becoming who He needs you to be. A sermon from Brent Kercheville. We have been looking at how Jesus goes about transforming Simon into Peter through the different teachings and interactions Jesus has with his apostle. I would like for us to open our copies of God's word to John 13 where we will consider another important interaction between Jesus and Peter. Before glory comes groaning — but how do we remain steady while awaiting God's answer? In this Walk It Out Wednesday teaching, Bishop T.D. Jakes takes us deeper into Romans 8 to show how God establishes believers in a position that can't be shaken. Life may test your condition — pain, disappointment, pressure — but your position in Christ remains your anchor. You are seated with Him in heavenly places, covered and secure. Through every sigh and struggle, the Spirit groans with you, praying for what words can't express. Even when you don't understand the process, God is using it to shape your character, silence pride, and bring your faith into alignment with His purpose. Rom. 12:16. 10/19/25. An expositional sermon from the letter to the Romans.
Sometimes, when we've been walking in our sin for too long, we forget that we don't have to wear these shackles. And when we give our lives to Christ, we still willingly put them back on and hope for the best, even though our breaker of chains is right in front of us. That's why in today's message, Pastor Richard urges you to come to Jesus and allow Him to free you of any bondage that holds you back. Don't stay in your chains; Let Jesus break you free.
A sound is rising from the earth — a groan that carries both pain and promise. It's the collective pain we have all endured as we've hoped and waited for God to make sense of our struggle. In “The Groan Before the Glory,” Bishop T.D. Jakes reveals that our suffering isn't proof of God's absence — it's the soil of transformation. The Spirit groans within us, interceding for what words can't touch and awakening the sons and daughters of God to rise. What feels like breaking is really birthing us. The groan is producing glory — and the glory comes with power! Every shout shakes something loose. Every tear turns into triumph. And every praise disrupts through darkness like an earthquake. The glory of God is breaking out in you — so open your mouth, lift your hands, and let the fire fall. God is making you powerful. Watch today and step into your supernatural comeback! Read OnlineAfter Jesus had spoken, a Pharisee invited him to dine at his home. He entered and reclined at table to eat. The Pharisee was amazed to see that he did not observe the prescribed washing before the meal. The Lord said to him, “Oh you Pharisees! Although you cleanse the outside of the cup and the dish, inside you are filled with plunder and evil. You fools!” Luke 11:37–40It's hard to imagine Jesus calling someone a fool. But that's exactly what He did. This Pharisee had just finished listening to Jesus give a series of teachings and then invited our Lord to His home for dinner in an apparent gesture of kindness. But as the passage unfolds, it's clear that this Pharisee is no friend of Jesus. Instead, his hospitality and kindness are a cloak for the evil within his soul. Why does Jesus respond so fiercely, calling the Pharisee a fool? Because this Pharisee is filled with hypocrisy. His exterior actions do not flow from a heart filled with charity and faith. Instead, his exterior actions are a show. He is a fraud. He, like many of the Pharisees, was very concerned with various external rituals, such as scrupulously washing his hands before he ate. He believed that doing so was a sign of his holiness and closeness to God. But it wasn't. His heart was one that was filled with judgment and self-righteousness. He looked down on others and elevated himself. In doing so, he deceived others and even deceived himself. The central message we must take from this is that we must diligently focus upon that which is in our hearts. Our hearts, our interior life, must be blooming with love of God and others. We must place all of our efforts on cultivating a sincere life of virtue within. This is done by prayer and humility. Humility will open our eyes to see the truth of who we are. Prayer will strengthen us to change as we see that which needs to be changed within. Only then, when we see clearly the truth of who we are and prayerfully rely upon grace obtained by prayer, will we be able to become people of true integrity and holiness. And only then will our interior holiness be made manifest externally in our actions. Reflect, today, upon these powerful words of Jesus: “You fools!” Don't be offended by these words; they are words of love from our Lord. They are His fierce attempt to wake this Pharisee up and lead him away from his hypocrisy. Listen to these words as if they were also spoken to you. Every one of us can humbly benefit from this loving chastisement from Jesus. Every one of us needs to humbly be transformed more fully interiorly. Let Jesus' words speak to you and reveal to you the ways that you need to change. Perhaps your pride has led you to an interior practice of judgment of others. Perhaps it has blinded you to sins that you need to confess. If you can listen to these words as if they were spoken to you, then Jesus' fervor will reach you, and your eyes will be opened to that which is in your soul that needs to be changed. Do not turn a blind eye to this. Be open, be humble and listen. My fervent Lord, You spoke words of love in many ways. At times You were gentle and at times You were firm. Please give me the grace and humility I need to be open to Your firm rebukes of love. Help me to sincerely see the ways in which I need to change my life so that Your grace will transform my interior life, flowing over into my actions. I love You, dear Lord. Help me to love You more. God is setting up your showdown. This is a climactic moment where God proves His sovereignty. Touré Roberts built upon his teaching from last week, reminding us that a showdown isn't merely conflict — it's a decisive encounter where you stop wrestling with circumstances and start witnessing God's power. In 1 Kings 17, we see that Elijah arrives fully mature, fully certified by heaven. And that authority came from radical consecration, radical obedience, and radical boldness. Elijah mastered God's presence through worship. He set the Lord before him constantly, cultivating an intimate relationship that qualified him for his assignment. Then comes obedience. When God speaks, provision follows. The prophetic word Elijah spoke wasn't optional; it was provisional. In whatever showdown you find yourself: Believe the Lord and you will prosper. Message: “Showdown Etiquette” Scripture: 1 Kings 17:1-11 (NKJV) Speaker: Touré Roberts Date: Oct. 12, 2025 ✨ Welcome to Your Moment of Transformation You don't have to walk this journey alone. You may not be in a setback — you might be in a showdown. If you feel like you've let life push you around long enough, you may have entered a “Showdown Season” — a time when God is calling His people to stand in faith and reveal His power in the face of impossible odds. Drawing from 1 Kings 18:19–39, Pastor Touré unpacks Elijah's confrontation with the prophets of Baal to show how God uses tension, pressure, and uncertainty as the stage for His glory. When we stop wavering between opinions and fully trust that “the Lord, He is God,” revival breaks out. This is a word for anyone standing between fear and faith, hesitation and action. God is stripping away emotional crutches and calling His people back to confidence, conviction, and clarity. It's time to rise in boldness, because the same Spirit that answered Elijah by fire still works through you.

This week, Walk It Out Wednesday brings together Dr. Valerie Crumpton, Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Pastor Don Johnson, and Dr. Oscar Williams to dive deeper into Pastor Touré Roberts' two-part message “On the Other Side of Endurance.” This powerful panel unpacks the book of Matthew and its five discourses leading up to Matthew 24. The conversation centers on Jesus' promise that if we remain steadfast in faith, we will be saved. As they discuss key themes of perspective, persistence, and perseverance, Dr. Williams reminds us that salvation is about staying under the trial and enduring until the end. Dr. Crumpton goes on to reflect on her life and how every test has shaped her, and Pastor Johnson emphasizes perception — that whenever God says “but” He's turning things around. The questions that sparked this spiritually sound discussion include: How should believers handle seasons of shaking? How do we discern between attacks meant to derail us and trials meant to shape us? What habits keep our hearts pure, so our love doesn't grow cold. Through it all, the reminder stands clear: We don't live for victory, but from victory. What do you do when the very thing God promised you seems to die in your arms? Our founding pastor Bishop T.D. Jakes dissects 2 Kings 4:18-27, teaching us about a wealthy woman whose son — her miracle — suddenly dies. She doesn't bury him. She doesn't call a doctor. She lays him in the room of the prophet who prophesied to her womb. Bishop Jakes walks us through this powerful text. One woman's oil kept flowing as long as there were empty vessels. Another woman, who seemed to lack nothing externally, still had a hidden poverty: the absence of a child. Whether you're broke in the bank or your heart, poverty can touch any of us. But the Word of God has no limits — God only stops pouring when there's nothing left to fill. Sometimes the prophetic word carries life that even death can't cancel. This is a word that will stir your faith, confront your doubts, and remind you that God has more supply than you have need. Don't give up on what the Lord said. Your turnaround is still possible. What do you do when it feels like your prayers aren't breaking through? In this week's Walk It Out Wednesday, Sarah Jakes Roberts revisits her message “Break the Barrier” and goes deeper into what true repentance looks like in our everyday lives. She unpacks the barriers that block our sound — shame, pride, ignoring conviction, clinging to old identities — and shows us how humility positions us for revival. Through practical teaching and real questions like “How do I move forward from shame?” and “What do I do when I feel stagnant?” we learn that God never disowns us, even in our failures, and His Spirit gives us the power to release a sound that heaven cannot ignore. Touré Roberts then adds a powerful reflection on the Feasts of the Lord and how their prophetic meaning points us back to Christ. Together, we closed our churchwide fast with communion — a reminder that this is a season for alignment, renewal, and fresh encounter with God. Don't miss this intimate and timely conversation. What do we do when life's pain silences us and chokes our praise? In “Break the Barrier,” Sarah Jakes Roberts challenges us to push back against darkness by releasing the sound heaven cannot ignore. In 2 Chronicles 7, we see how God responds when His people humble themselves, pray, and lift their voices. The Holy Spirit helps us interpret what we're exposed to, cut through the noise, and declare God's truth with power. But too often, barriers like fear, pride, and shame hold us back. We forget that we're still God's people, called by His name even when we fall short. With emotional transparency, SJR reminds us: It's not about perfection — it's about repentance and faith that speaks.Your praise is more than words — it's a wave that breaks through heaviness, strengthens others, and reaches the heart of God. When we prophesy His promises over our lives and communities, revival takes root.Don't miss this timely and vulnerable message — because when God's people release their sound together, barriers fall and His Spirit moves.Message: “Break the Barrier”Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:12-15 (NKJV)Speaker: Sarah Jakes RobertsDate: Sept. 21, 2025✨ Welcome to Your Moment of TransformationYou don't have to walk this journey alone. We are God's change agents in the earth. During this week's Walk It Out Wednesday, Touré Roberts takes us deeper into his Sunday word, “The Power to Change,” and reminds us that breakthrough is less about what happens around us and more about being spiritually revived. He also explores our heart health and the need for our faith to be activated so we can walk in the power of God. He breaks down how God's word flows like water, confirmed by His Spirit and revealed in stillness. You too may want to know:· What are some examples of keeping your heart healthy?· How do you heal a sick heart?· How do you know what God wants you to do, and know that He's directing you to it?The most powerful people in God are those who withhold nothing from Him. On Celebration Sunday and the first day of our 10-Day Corporate Fast, Pastor Touré Roberts brings a powerful word from Proverbs 13:12 on “The Power to Change.” Scripture reminds us that “hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”This message calls us to recognize that every anointed person is carrying something — and to step into breakthrough, we must make room for what God wants to do. As we begin our fast, we must know that fasting isn't just about sacrifice, but about capacity, alignment, and stewarding our resources for the season ahead. Pastor Touré reminds us that the tension of delay and disappointment is not wasted — it's the very space where God develops us, positions us, and prepares us for transformation. When we keep our hearts healthy, pain becomes the launching pad for abundance. During this Walk It Out Wednesday service, our pastoral panel of Dr. Valerie Crumpton, Pastor Venshard Dobbins, and Pastor Don Johnson (along with Dr. Cynthia James and moderator Anthony Olds) dive into Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts' Sunday message “Make a Move.” Together, they explore what it means to live with a faith that moves. The panel reflects on Genesis 12 and Mark 9, which show us that God responds to our faith no matter the measure. From Abram's shaky beginnings to the desperate father who cried, “I believe, help my unbelief,” they remind us that grace fills in where our faith feels weak. Even when fear, grief, or default behaviors cloud our choices, God's promises remain. And when faith feels stagnant, it may be because we haven't taken the step God is waiting on. Pastor Sarah's message reminded us all: Faith is more than belief; it's a verb. Every move we make in trust opens the door for God's power to meet us.Have you ever wanted to know:• How do I make a move I can trust when I'm dealing with the fear of failure?• What do you do when you know God has power to do all things but struggle to believe He willdo it for you?Don't miss this deep dive that will build your courage, stretch your faith, and remind you that one move with God can change everything!Message: “Walk It Out Wednesday: Make a Move”Speakers: Dr. Valerie Crumpton, Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Pastor Don Johnson, Dr. Cynthia James, and Anthony OldsDate: Sept. 10, 2025Welcome to Your Moment of TransformationYou don't have to walk this journey alone.
