What do you do when God calls you to build, but fear, failure, and uncertainty keep whispering that you're not enough? In “Nothing Into Something,” Sarah Jakes Roberts reveals how God takes ordinary people, limited resources, and imperfect histories, and turns them into vessels of purpose. Drawing from Exodus 31, she shows how God fills you with wisdom, skill, and His Spirit, so you can walk in your divine purpose. This message is your call to confront fear at its root and challenges you to stir up what God has already placed inside you. Fear may be loud, but it was never meant to lead your life. God offers power, love, a sound mind, and the wisdom to build what He's called you to build. If you've been hiding, doubting yourself, or living smaller than your calling, this message is an invitation to break agreement with fear and trust God to turn nothing into something. Message: “Nothing Into Something” Scripture: Exodus 31:1-6 (NKJV) Speaker: Sarah Jakes Roberts Date: Jan. 11, 2026 ✨ Welcome to Your Moment of Transformation You don't have to walk this journey alone. Unlocking God's supernatural plan for your life requires abandoning what comes naturally and stepping into the divine intention He established before the fall. In this Walk It Out Wednesday, Sarah Jakes Roberts challenges us to shift from our second nature back to our first nature as image-bearers of God. She breaks down our identity as heirs, detailing how we learn to shift environments by partnering with God and how the storms we face don't disqualify us from our inheritance. She reminds us that we have the capacity to be agents of change in our families and communities when we align with God's original design for our lives. Some of the questions that lead this conversation include: How do I find my inheritance in God when storms keep coming? How do you function in limited environments when you have unlimited capacity? How can I get back to my first nature — God's original intention for me? How do I ensure I'm planted and not just dreaming? Who should I share my dreams and goals with? On the Feast of the Epiphany, we're invited to ask a deeper question: Will you allow yourself to be taken, broken, and given? In today's Peace on Earth reflection, we look at the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish — a profoundly Eucharistic moment where Jesus: takes, gives thanks, breaks, and gives. This isn't just about bread. It's about you. Jesus wants to take you — to delight in you. He wants to give thanks for you. And yes, He may allow you to be broken… so that you can be given to the world. This is how love multiplies. This is how vocations are lived. This is how lives are transformed. As the Christmas season draws to a close, may we surrender again and trust that God can do more with our “yes” than we could ever imagine. May there be peace on earth — and peace in your heart. Amen. #PeaceOnEarth #Epiphany
2026 is the year we stop striving—and start letting Jesus serve us.
The environment you're in right now is strategically designed to draw out something greater within you. In this transformative message from Luke 2:46-52, Sarah Jakes Roberts explores how God places us in situations that demand more from our hidden spiritual capacity. Just as Moses was drawn from the Nile, God pulls out what He's already placed inside us through the environments we encounter. Hannah's story in 1 Samuel reveals that breakthrough often requires doing something unnatural to access the supernatural. When Jesus humbled Himself to live in human limitation, He modeled the ultimate act of surrendering what was natural for something greater. Your willingness to shift your environment, not just wait for your season to change, may be the key to experiencing what God wants to do through you. Obedience is the only strategy for stewarding something bigger than your understanding. This message shows us how to break out of limitation and step into supernatural breakthrough. As we reflect the advent season, Pastor Sean looks at what it represents. 1. Christmas is a moment, but the incarnation is for life. 2. His light enters ordinary places, through us. 3. We need to go from beholding the light, to being bearers of the light. 4. The world needs Christmas all year! We also look at how we should respond practically going forward. 1. Schedule daily devotions. 2. Join a Sunday school/ Wednesday evening class. 3. Be part of a small group for accountability. 4. Let Jesus show you where you need to grow! Let's keep Christmas alive all year long! Happy New Year!!!
What God placed inside you was never meant to remain hidden or dormant — it was designed to grow, sustain you, and impact others. In part two of his message “The Empire Within You,” Touré Roberts challenges us to stop waiting on external change and start working what God has already placed inside us. We carry more authority, provision, and purpose than we've been using — and heaven is waiting on us to activate what's within. Through the life of Mary, this message shows how God moves you from being stuck in faith to being strengthened by purpose. The empire within you is meant to nourish you, stretch your capacity, and ultimately express itself through your life. Purpose is uncomfortable by design — it expands your thinking, faith, habits, and confidence. This message is a call to release what God has placed within you with boldness and clarity. If God said it, it will happen. It's time to work what He's given you. What if the pressure you feel in life comes from trying to play the starring role in a story that was never meant to be about you?In this Christmas message Pastor Ryan Visconti looks at the quiet faith of Joseph and shows how real peace and purpose are found when Jesus becomes the center of your life. Through Joseph's obedience sacrifice and humility we discover that God often interrupts our plans for a greater purpose and that the most meaningful role we can play is supporting what God is doing. This message will encourage you to trust God when life does not go according to plan to release control and to find freedom by letting Jesus be the hero of your story this Christmas season.
What do you need to be set free from? On this final day of Advent — December 24 — we reflect on the Gospel of Luke 1:67–79, known as the Benedictus, the words spoken by Zechariah after months of silence. It's a powerful reminder of why Jesus came: to set us free. Free from anxiety. Free from sin. Free from wounds, addictions, fear, and the burdens we carry. Jesus wasn't born just to change history — He was born to change hearts. As we approach Christmas, take a moment to name what you're asking Jesus to free you from, and pray simply: “Jesus, this Christmas, set me free.” And if you still have time today — invite someone to Mass. Christ came for the whole world, not just for us.
Love took on flesh Love came near Love has a face Love is full of grace and truth Application points: Let Jesus define love for you Stop hiding from God when He has come near Stop loving from a distance

In this holiday service, we celebrate Christmas at The House by blessing families with what they need and what God knows will help steward the destiny He has placed inside them! Then, Touré Roberts brings an enduring message from Luke 1:31-38 and Luke 17:21 about the empire within you. The kingdom of God isn't something you watch for. It's already within you, and there are three keys to unlocking this empire: what it is, how to own it, and what to do with it. Just like Mary, we don't produce the kingdom; we receive it. Heaven speaks before it forms, and God is speaking divine things over your life right now. Don't despise small beginnings. When you shift from looking to man to glorifying the Lord, you step into your royal consciousness as His maidservant. The King is in you. It's time to receive the empire within. Today we look at Matthew 1:17.....The Genealogy of Jesus. Pastor Dustin admits that you probably won't find your life verse in this passage but describes the richness and depth of of how Jesus can change our "now" and our "future" so we don't have to live in our "past".3 observations for the text:1) Jesus doesn't come to us because he is impressed. He comes to us because we are desperate. 2) Jesus came to save anyone who would trust Him.3) Don't surrender to heritage. Let Jesus inform your life.

What happens when God breaks 400 years of silence? What if Christmas isn't just comfort and joy, but a call to clear the way? This week on The Cutting Room Floor, Neil and Scott go deeper into Christmas According to Kids, Part 2, unpacking the story of John the Baptist, Mary, Elizabeth, and the moment when God's long silence finally ends. They explore how ancient prophecy collides with everyday faith, why John's whole life was about getting out of the way, and how Christmas awakens a deep longing, even in people far from God. From Malachi to the manger, from dragons to dinner tables, this conversation pulls back the curtain on the spiritual battle behind the nativity and the simple invitation Jesus still gives: come and see. The Challenge This Christmas, ask the question John's life demands: Who is near to me, but far from God? Then take one small step, ask a question, share your story, extend the invitation. Let Jesus do the rest. Hosts: Neil Gregory & Scott Nickell What We Discuss Why God's 400 years of silence matters more than we realize How Malachi's prophecy points directly to John the Baptist Why Christmas softens hearts in ways Easter often doesn't The power of asking simple, curious questions about faith "Come and see" as Jesus' most effective invitation strategy Spiritual warfare hiding in plain sight in the Christmas story Finding comfort and joy without pretending everything is okay Why your story with Jesus matters more than having all the answers ⸻ About Southland Christian Church Southland is one church meeting in multiple locations across central Kentucky. What if every “I am not enough,” “I am unworthy,” or “I am unloved” whisper could be silenced by the voice of Jesus within you? In this revelatory episode of Perspectives with Catherine Toon, theologian and author Dr. C. Baxter Kruger unpacks how the lies of shame and separation shape our souls—and how Christ’s “I AM” restores us to wholeness. Baxter shares life-changing insights from his soul diagram and Trinitarian theology, explaining how evil plants the lie of “I am not” early in our pain, and how Jesus descends into our darkness to rewrite our story from within. Through vivid stories of healing, scripture reflections, and practical questions like “Jesus, are You in me?” and “What are my ‘I am nots'?" Baxter and Catherine lead us into a deeply personal encounter with the indwelling Christ. Discover how identity in Christ dismantles religion’s striving, and how hearing God’s voice within restores security, belonging, and joy. Learn how to recognize the Father’s goodness, the Spirit’s companionship, and the freedom that comes when shame and striving fall away. “There is no place in our being deeper than the union of the Father, Son, and Spirit with us.” – Baxter Kruger Experience the reality that you are already included, already loved, already whole. In this anointed Walk It Out Wednesday, Bishop T.D. Jakes focuses on Jesus' parable of the vineyard owner and the wicked tenants and how this teaching unveils profound truths about stewardship, rejection, and redemption. The tenants walked into finished work but failed to honor the owner with his portion. Despite their repeated rebellion, God remained longsuffering, ultimately sending His Son who became “the stone the builders rejected.” This rejected stone becomes our cornerstone — the foundation we build upon rather than the unwavering approval of others. When feelings threaten to become our god, we must walk by faith, setting our plumb line according to Jesus alone. Let Jesus help you carry your burdens
Most churches and Christians love to do things, especially things for God. These "doings" sometimes take us away from the mission Jesus actually gave us. This week we explore how we must let Jesus be and do everything He must while finding our place in relationship to Him. Let Jesus be Jesus, and we, as a church, do our best work when we point to Him.
Sometimes rejection is direction. In this moving message from Mark 12:1-12 and Matthew 21:42-45, Bishop T.D. Jakes confronts the dangerous spirit of entitlement that threatens our relationship with God. Bishop reminds us that we did not build what we're standing in. God brings us into places that were already prepared. The question isn't whether we deserve it; it's whether we can steward it with humility. Entitlement can masquerade as pride, hide behind scripture, and embody false humility, while God waits to see if we've truly grown on the inside. This is God's pattern: bringing us into places of growth we didn't create so we can stretch into His purpose. The greedy heart corrupts expansion, but gratitude recognizes that we don't deserve what's been given and transforms everything. If you're stepping into a new season, struggling with comparison, or needing a reality check about ownership versus stewardship, let this word recalibrate your heart. Episode 390: Here Comes the Teacher — Watch Advent invites us to wake up to God's presence—even in the chaos. In this first week of our Advent series, Here Comes the Teacher, we explore Jesus' call to "stay awake" in Matthew 24. Rather than predicting the future, Jesus offers a posture for faithful living: watchfulness. In a world marked by turmoil, whether in the first century or today, the Teacher invites us to pay attention, stay centered, and notice where God is breaking in right now. Sara and Tim unpack how Matthew's Gospel speaks into moments of crisis, reminding us that God's presence is not distant or theoretical. It's Emmanuel, God with us, showing up in the swirl of ordinary life. From practicing the means of grace to asking daily, "Where have you experienced Christ's presence today?" this episode offers a hopeful and grounded way to move through Advent. Leaders especially will find encouragement to help their communities stay awake to God's activity, resist fear-driven distractions, and cultivate habits that keep hope visible, even when the world feels anything but calm. This week's invitation: Stay awake to Christ's presence. Let Jesus—not the turmoil—be the center of your story. For show notes, visit transformingmission.org/390.

It's time to work what God placed in you. In part two of his message “Let's Go to Work,” Touré Roberts reveals how God designed us for enterprise, purpose, and impact long before we ever saw it in ourselves. Drawing from Ephesians 2, James 2, and John 9, he shows how faith isn't passive — it's activated when we build, create, serve, and walk out what God already planted within. You are God's workmanship — His poem — crafted with intention, rhythm, and capacity. The gifts, ideas, and abilities in you aren't random; they are part of a divine ecosystem of productivity waiting to flow through your life. This message will challenge limiting beliefs, ignite your design, and call you into the kind of work that transforms lives — including your own. It's not just time to believe. It's time to build — your calling, your purpose, and your kingdom business. A Prayer to Let Jesus Lead by Katie J. TrentWhat is the significance of the Christmas star? In today's episode, we learn how the star points us to the greater truth of Jesus’ guidance in our lives. Just as the star led the Magi on their long journey to find the newborn Messiah, Jesus promises to lead and direct us as we trust Him.We reflect on how stars fill our homes and holiday traditions—tree toppers, decorations, and even cookie cutters—reminding us of the light that guided wise men to Jesus. Yet Scripture tells us something even more astounding: God not only created the stars but counts and names them (Psalm 147). If He knows every star, how much more does He care about us? Reference: Matthew 2:9-10 Prayer: Jesus, we choose to trust in You and ask You to lead and guide us all the days of our lives, just like You led the magi. Help us not to lean on our own understanding, but to seek Your will and Your wisdom in all we do. And let us become an example for our children so that they will allow You to lead them all the days of their lives as well. Amen. Revival isn't God doing a new thing, it's reorienting us back to His original design. In this timely message, Touré Roberts unpacks how the kingdom of God operates as a counter-kingdom, challenging both culture and religious rigidity. Through James 2:14-18, Ephesians 2:10, and John 9:4, he walks us through how faith and work are divinely integrated. Learn what it means to be God's workmanship and how we are God's “poem” crafted with intentional rhythm and purpose, not mass-produced. Work means more than good deeds; it's toil, labor, business, and enterprise designed to advance the kingdom. God prepared our work beforehand — it's time to move from working for a salary to operating in God's original design. The power to multiply isn't just in you, but in the ability God gave you (Deuteronomy 8:18). In a world that favors the masses, we must know that opportunities to create and build are more accessible than you think. Remember: You are called to lead. You are the head and not the tail. You don't get to choose your wilderness, but you do get to choose how you fight in it. In “The Rumble in the Jungle,” Pastor Don Johnson shows us that the battles we face aren't signs of weakness — they're signs of promotion. Just like a boxer enters the ring focused on victory, Matthew 4 reveals Jesus stepped into the wilderness already equipped, already affirmed, and already undefeated. The space between who you are and who you are becoming is a fight. The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus has already secured your victory! Let this timely message show you: • Why God leads you into uncomfortable places • How to discern real opportunities from traps • How to resist shortcuts that sabotage identity • Why your anointing attracts attacks • How to fight back with the Word If you're weary, vulnerable, or under pressure, this is your reminder: You have already won. Now fight like it. Pastor Venshard Dobbins, Pastor Cora Jakes, Pastor Don Johnson, and Dr. Oscar Williams come together for a panel that's going to shake something loose in your spirit. In this Walk It Out Wednesday service, they dive into the book of Exodus and unpack the powerful truth: Your isolation already has an expiration date, and God's the one who set it. Your participation is required in your own deliverance. How are you actually participating by faith? There's a difference between reacting to the storm and responding with faith. You have to face your own stuff to participate in your freedom. The panel tackles questions that you've been battling with: How do I move from isolation into ministry? How do I reach someone who's isolated but won't admit it? What's my purpose and where am I even supposed to go? How do I trust God enough to let go? Bottom line: Every isolation comes with an assignment. Just like God rerouted every wrong turn for Israel, He's been doing the same for you. Many of us struggle to ask for help. We find ourselves trapped in isolation that makes us believe no one fully understands our struggles. But Sarah Jakes Roberts delivered a liberating word: God never intended isolation to be a destination; it's meant to be a place of divine encounter. Too much isolation distorts our identity, causing us to forget who we are, what we believe, and where we're called. The woman with the issue of blood heard about Jesus while in isolation, but she broke out of it to pursue transformation. We need that same faith to break out before we settle. The anxieties and divisions devastating our world cannot be overcome in isolation. It's time to surrender the place of isolation, open up to let God's glory in, and allow others to care for you. This requires sacrifice and moving in Gpd's timing, not the world's schedule. The expiration date on your isolation has arrived. Deep down, you know you were never meant to stay where you are. The ache you feel isn't failure — it's God stirring your spirit to move. In “The Nomadic Life,” Touré Roberts reveals that following Jesus means embracing movement — spiritually, mentally, and physically. Jesus Himself lived as a nomad, moving wherever the Father led. Likewise, we must release comfort, renew our minds, and follow God's provision wherever it flows. The nomadic life is not instability — it's alignment. It's learning to discern when to move, when to rest, and how to stay postured for purpose. If you've felt stuck, God may be calling you to shift. His promises for you are already settled. Now, it's time for agile posture willing to get in a heavenly flow. Your next level begins with your next move!
