Normal Nonsense

The bands back together. That's right, for the first time in....I don't know, lets say loads of weeks the boys are back together and face to face. Now in the new more comfortable setting of Johns sitting room. This week a full update on what has been going on with the show and what is coming. Feels good to be back folks!

HELLO!! Just a little mini episode to keep your hunger for some double n at bay. A quick update from John on the show and what the fup is going on with it. Will it return? Will there be a new jazzy intro? Where are my pants? None of these questions are answered in this episode but you get to hear John's smooth voice for a whole 13min or there about.

It was inevitable, both Dublin losing and the lads going on an hour long rant about it. In this weeks episode its all about the semi final of the Ireland that seen John and Damo's beloved Dubs fall to MAYO. John and Damo give there honest option on the match, the situation the current Dublin team are now facing, what they think the next few years look like for Dublin football and how they feel the rest of the All Ireland will play out.

Another week of mindless jibber jabber.  The plan was to talk about our favourite places, but Damo though it was places we wanted to go and John just didn't put the work in. But we did make some choices for our Halloween special Movie Night so not a total loss

We are back!! The boys are firmly back in town!! Season 2 kicks off with just a catch up with the lads, listen as they talk about all those amazing plans they had during the break!! This is it folks! The end of season 1! As with all the big shows we had a special guest on, this week we had a man who once got our whole group kicked out of a pub for a fart…...crap we didn't even talk about that  on the show. We did have a good chat about ice cream though also Peter pulled Damo up on some issues from previous episodes. We chat a show record amount of crap and find out that John has a dark dream! Damo picks his robot body parts and plans to go back in time and mess the timeline up along with a lot more season finally worth topics!

This week Damo returns! The lads look at the upcoming semi-finals of The King of The Ice Cream/Pops Tournament! They also look back at the quarter finals that gave us a few ooooo and aaahhhh and yeeeeeeeh moments The also talk about their plan, they answer some questions! John wraps up Veg Watch (No music this week due to complaints) and the plan to get a group together to complain about some other TV ads!

Well Damien is on some annual leave this week, wink wink nudge nudge say no more. So John searched all over his own home for a fill in and after his 4 year old son said no a number of times, John was left with only one option....do the show solo!! But John didn't think of that so his fiancée Katie jumped in to help out,  They go over round 2 of the King Of The Ice Cream/Pop and look at the quarter finals.  Then John blasts Katie with question after question!

This week the lads look at round 2 of THE KING OF THE ICE CREM/POP TOURNMENT and look at all the match ups, also they fix a problem that was over looked in the tournament and now we have ourselves a WILDCARD!! Damo gives some advice and John tries to start shit in his group of friends. Veg Watch is all types of crazy this week, has John finally done it, has he grown something? This weeks show has it all! The lads introduce two new segments, Damien's Advice along with Veg Watch! They also chat about this years GAA championship and give an early prediction. Then Damien goes through all his near misses in jobs while John gives us a run down of his first ever job where he charge over €20 for two coffees and one wasn't even the right kind of coffee! Is there a Normal Nonsense beer coming......well you'll have to listen to find out!

That is it! we are done spelling these long ass numbers.  This week John and Damo chat about there dreams, they give an in-depth dream analysis on the dreams you submitted to them.  They also chat about the new format they have been shitting on about for weeks but we haven't seen yet. All this and more!

Its another week of some Normal Nonsense. This weeks the lads forget the topic and go off in a hundred different ways. They talk pints in the garden, pints in pubs, new 90min in pubs rule, tiny hand hand puppets(that's right I said hand hand puppets). They look ahead to the next Normal Nonsense Presents: Movie Night when the will review Battleship! They also talk about the changes coming to the show. This will be the last episode........that's released on a Friday, had you worried there that we were puling the plug didn't I, no the show will go on, regardless of all the hate mail we get. The show will now come out on a Monday. The first Monday show will air on the 29th June 2020! They also reveal next weeks topic!!

The boys are back in town!! Well they never left the town, but they are back in Normal Nonsense town....that's a place. This week they reunited face to face, while social distancing. They had a plan and topic but the excitement of seeing each other they forgot that and started talking about reality TV dating shows and game shows. Along with this they dish out the plan for the future of Normal Nonsense and what the have planned. And as always they shite on about a lot of other stuff!

Join us as we look at all the memorable character like Jar Jar Binks and........other, I guess. Its a movie review show with all that Normal Nonsense goodness...and swearing, lots and lots of swearing

Another week apart means another ZOOM call for the show to go on! This week we get a bit serious, taking a look at whats been going on in the world, we then have chat about drugs. Are they good? Are they Bad? Did John actually trip balls when he had some funky tea? Find out the answers to these questions and more. Plus find out what Star Wars movie you thought we should watch and review!

This week we take a look at how the city has changed over the years, well we try but we both don't remember much.... Damien promises to record a video to be used as an ad to get people to come to Ireland, he also puts his plans forward for a metro system. John reveals some worlds he doesn't like and gives some details about a time he almost crushed some people with his giant feet. We start to plan our return into the real world. All this and more

After half an hour of the show John noticed he hadn't hit record, but the professionals that the lads are they got back into it and redone the start of the show! This week the lads take a trip down memory lane and look back over their classic YouTube videos. They look back at how the Damo Ducky character got his name and how the character brought life to more characters in the Duckyverse So jump on board the Duckyholic train!

A taste of the new show form Normal Nonsense host John! John will be taking a look at some of his childhood favourite cartoons and giving his view on them from his adult eye! They talk favourite matches, players and moment form games they have attended. They give their view on rule changes and what they see happening to the sport in the future. John plugs he new show again and Damo forgets to suggest a movie, all this and more!

The lads continue to adapt to the new world, this week they take to ZOOM to record the show! They talk favourite Disney movies and list off the songs they listen to when they were 17! They look back to what they were doing when they were 17 and revisit the time John broke Damien's bike. The jump 3 years and talk about what they might be doing! All this and more on this weeks show!

Later than normal but just at the right time, it's Normal Nonsense! his weeks show kicks off the week of double penetration from the show! That's right we are going to be penetrating your ears twice this week! We had a bit of a hazy week last week so our normal show didn't get put out. This episode the lads talk about stuff they have been doing while in lock down. Damien has started his journey to be the number one sign language person in Ireland! John has started a shopping addiction! Space what is it? Can we live there? The lads answer a fan question about living on Mars. They also talk about the news that the Luke Kelly statue in Dublin city that was vandalised over the weekend. All this and more on Normal Nonsense

Still staying home the lads continue to record the podcast via the wonders of technology! This week they take another look back at their school days and pay their respects to their form principle, who sadly passed away earlier this week, They chat about what they want to do post COVID 19 and they get down to some real business and discuss the best pint of Guinness they have ever had!
