Quick in and out podcast focusing on two college football prospects per episode discussing their strengths, weaknesses, background and pro potential!
In the final episode of the show before the draft on Thursday, Lawrence is joined by guest Nino Olivier (i_MiLK on Reddit and @NinoOlivier15 on Twitter) as we both bring forward our own mock drafts on what is going to happen in Round 1 on Thursday. We go over possible trade scenarios (including an earth shattering one from Lawrence), plan Bs for teams if that player isn't available, and the best remaining player left on the board after the 1st round ends.
Episode 29 takes on Texas A&M center Erik McCoy, who had a couple of great games blocking against incredible competition in Alabama and Clemson and Iowa safety Amani Hooker who is one of the smartest, instinctual defensive players in the draft but has some athletic shortcomings that could really affect him in the NFL.
Episode 28 features San Diego State TE Kahale Warring, a former water polo player who has only played organized football for five years, yet has some of the biggest upside as a developmental prospect in this draft with his speed/separation, size, and technique that's already way ahead of his learning curve. We also talk Utah LB Cody Barton, a man coverage specialist with great positional instincts...but will some of his limitations relegate him to a rotational/special teams type?
On Episode 27, we finally tackle one of the 2019 draft class's most talked about prospects, QB Dwayne Haskins. Does Haskins warrant a first round pick being used on him, or is his value being inflated due to needs at the position? Then we talk about Notre Dame's Jerry Tillery and his ability to use his length and long arms to disorient and move interior linemen to get the QB but can he overcome some technique consistency issues that seem to plague him?
On Episode 26, Lawrence talks Nebraska wideout Stanley Morgan Jr. who may just be the best overall, polished route runner in this entire receiver class. Then, he analyzes lengthy Michigan St. CB Justin Layne who gives receivers fits in press coverage with his long arms but has some notable deficiencies in other types of coverage.
The latest Prospect Profile covers Michigan's Chase Winovich and how his arm usage, football IQ and sheer effort enable him to consistently disengage from blockers and create quarterback pressures and tackles for loss! Then, we go over Texas A&M RB Trayveon Williams and his great pass blocking ability and second level running, but will he be able to overcome some obvious tunnel vision and lack of strength between the tackles at the next level?
We finally wrap up NFL Combine coverage with Day 4 of the on field drills which saw the defensive backs show off some of their elite athleticism, such as Juan Thornhill's incredible jump out of the gym type of numbers on the vertical and broad jump. Metcalf having one of the best combines for a receiver his size in recent memory, the Iowa tight ends Fant and Hockenson absolutely dominating their position drills/athletic testing, some hilarious 2nd positions some prospects were asked to workout for, and much much more!

Then, Buffalo's towering QB Tyree Jackson has got the prototypical NFL arm strength and size coaches love, but will coaching be able to fix some of his evident mechanics issues that lead to some alarming accuracy issues?
This week, we cover the big physical NC State receiver Kelvin Harmon and how his ability to box out defenders with his size/strength makes him a constant threat to move the chains. We also cover Florida's Jachai Polite and how his lateral quickness is some of the best of all the edge defenders in this class while some of his "Run support issues" have been totally blown out of proportion and we debunk that on this episode.
In Episode 18, Lawrence discusses Ole Miss walk on tight end Dawson Knox and how he is a key example of "Scout the traits, not the college production" credo and what he could become if he reaches the potential offered by his physical tools. Then Lawrence dives into Central Michigan's Sean Bunting whose great length for a corner and his ability to jam up receivers is at times overshadowed by his lack of presence in run support.
Episode 17 treads through some serious territory when Lawrence covers Miss State's pass rushing DT Jeffery Simmons and his assault incident from high school that haunts his past. Will NFL general managers feel he's too much a PR risk to touch or will a gambling evaluator feel his upside is too much to pass on? Then, we cover stout, lengthy West Virginia offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste who seems like a rock solid late day 1/early day 2 pick!
For the second week in a row, Lawrence covers another college football all star game in the 2019 Senior Bowl! Then, we cover the undersized but dangerous, speedy and crafty Florida State pass rusher Brian Burns who also finds himself making plays in the run game, bolstering his stock further.
In the latest Prospect Profile, Lawrence gets back to the defensive secondary and covers lengthy Penn State corner Amani Oruwariye and lauds his ability to use his long arms and size to disrupt receivers and continuously make plays on the ball. We have a special guest host on Episode 8 as Lawrence is joined by Nino (Known as Reddit user i_MiLK, please check out his draft analysis on his user page or the NFL Draft Subreddit!) and we discuss Memphis RB Darrell Henderson and how his second level explosiveness is going to possibly land him as a day 1 starter, as well as Alabama LB Mack Wilson and how his coverage ability and general athletic ability allowing him to cover sideline to sideline will make him a surefire first round pick and starting LB for many possible teams.
On the latest Prospect Profile, Lawrence raves about the hard hitting, ball hawking University of Virginia safety Juan Thornhill and how well he's been able to adapt to being a full time safety from being a hybrid corner/safety in just one season and thrive in that role. Ryan Finley, the much hyped before the season QB from NC State is discussed and Lawrence explains how he feels Finley's pro potential is capped by a few major flaws in his QB play.
