Message by Doug Bunnell, recorded live May 19, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Bellingham. Scripture read by Elodie and Vale Bates. Special music by Tammy Rutgers (organ), Elliot Smith (trumpet), Kaden Smith (trumpet), Jamison Schmidt (trombone), William Kovacevic (trombone), and Shon Schmidt (trombone). Be Just, Patient, and Faithful: Be responsible and generous with your money, patient, and live with integrity. Why might James be so down on rich people? As rich people, how do we hear these hard words? What does patient living look like? How might we strengthen our hearts? What is the upside to letting your yes be your yes and your no be your no? Which of these hard words will you work on today? James 5:1-11 1 Come now, you rich people, weep and wail for the miseries that are coming to you. 2 Your riches have rotted, and your clothes are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you, and it will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure for the last days. 4 Listen! The wages of the labourers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. 5 You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have fattened your hearts on a day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned and murdered the righteous one, who does not resist you. 7 Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains. 8 You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. 9 Beloved, do not grumble against one another, so that you may not be judged. See, the Judge is standing at the doors! 10 As an example of suffering and patience, beloved, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 Indeed we call blessed those who showed endurance. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

Adam and Andy are back talking all things New York Football Giants! This was not the dress rehearsal Giants fans hoped for. The guys discuss the surprising start of Nate Solder at right tackle and what that means, if anything, for Matt Pearts future. Andrew Thomas all struggled bringing Adam dangerously close to the edge on Dave Gettleman's roster construction. Daniel Jones gave Giants fans exactly what we wanted: high completion percentage, mobility outside the pocket and down field accuracy on a 23 yard touchdown to Kaden Smith. He also through an interception on the goal line, just to keep us on our toes. Beyond the concerns, BJ Hill did not play in the finale making Andy wonder what that could indicate for the 53 man roster. David Sills and CJ Board have earned their roster spots, but what will become of Pettis and Ross? And could Adam have been right all along that Gary Brightwell can make the opening day roster? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/message

Then they break down Leonard Williams' career year and where he ranked as one of the league's top pass rushers. They also talk about the possibility of regression in 2021.

Dan and Nick dive into a tight end position that is guaranteed to be featured in Jason Garrett's offensive system. It's not only a position that will be featured more often in the passing game, but also in a very different way than we've seen from a Giants tight end since the 2013 season. SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Holden Kushner joins Greg to recap Week 14 and work the Week 15 waiver wire en route to glory in the 2019 fantasy football playoffs. Their booms of the week kick things off. Holden laments the loss of Calvin Ridley while celebrating the ascension of Ian Thomas, and Greg wonders if he can run back Joe Mixon against New England next week. Ryan Tannehill also went boom, but he did so from Greg's bench. Was the benching process sound, though? Greg argues that touchdown regression could still be on the table for Tannehill going forward. Busts of the week come next, featuring Jack Doyle and Brandin Cooks, but also with hat tips to the inactive Josh Jacobs and the laundry list of players who ended up injured on Sunday. The second half of the show is a breakdown of the Week 15 waiver wire. Should Raheem Mostert or DeAndre Washington be the top priority at running back? Are Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, and Patrick Laird even worth additions considering their poor offensive situations? Why aren't Zach Pascal and A.J. Brown already owned in more leagues? Did Week 14's injuries to Mike Evans and DeVante Parker create more opportunity at wide receiver in Tampa or Miami? Speaking of the Bucs, is O.J. Howard finally back on the fantasy radar? Can Case Keenum salvage Terry McLaurin's value? Who are the top streaming options at quarterback and defense? What other lingering questions and difficult decisions will keep Greg and Holden up at night as Week 15 approaches? With less than three weeks to go until the 2019 NFL Draft, Brandan Schulze and Rob Staton will be exploring different Seattle Seahawks mock draft scenarios every Monday. With only three Mondays leading up to April 25, this week's show kicks off with the likely scenario of trading back to acquire additional picks. Rob's seven-round mock draft for the Seahawks also covers the first 103 picks so we can see which players the Seahawks could be missing out on based on who they select. The first trade with Kansas City gives Seattle an additional third- and sixth-round pick, and a trade back with the Cardinals gives the Seahawks an additional selection in the fourth. Those moves would give Seattle seven picks to work with and a full day to make a decision on the first pick of the second round. The first pick goes to Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry, who is reported to be coming to the Seahawks facility for an official visit. Tune is as Rob goes into depth on the reasoning behind the first three picks, including defensive end Charles Omenihu of Texas and safety Marvell Tell of USC. Defensive tackle Armon Watts of Arkansas, tight end Kaden Smith of Stanford, defensive tackle Greg Gaines of Washington and cornerback Derreck Thomas of Baylor round out the list of picks.
