Oh hey what's up, it's been a minute, how you been? We're back and I have some stories that I'll share on a future show but for now here is an awesome time I had with Craig Taylor of OnlyLoveFoundation and Monica Marquez of podcast Momo on the Move. Aimless Again is a punk rock band out of Long Island. They came by and showed us a few singles from their first album. We talked music but we mostly talked shit. Safrah is an incredible musician, singer and fellow libra from Long Island, NY. She performed for us and displayed her talents, but beyond that we just had a ton of fun playing around, doing what libras do. Dudley Music is a Long Island-based Hip-Hop recording artist, producer, and Jazz musician who plays saxophone, keys, guitar, drums, flute, and clarinet. He usually performs, curates and hosts events around Long Island and NYC but came by our studio to bless the mic. Nicky Dreams @11d.r.3.a.m.s.11 is the definition of an entrepreneur. He has his hands in a little bit of everything, ranging from working with kids to his own music and art of all kinds and so much more. He came on with Alexa @lexgetcrazy_ to shoot the shit and fill us in on all the exciting projects they're working on. Travis from FreeUrVoice Vocal Coaching came on with Aya Nori, one of his ridiculously talented students. He put her through a live vocal lesson and showed us the intricacies that go into a vocal coaching session. After her lesson, Aya performed two beautiful songs for us that I know you'll enjoy. Karina is a new friend that has recently come home after working in California for a few years. Chris and Mike are film makers and have just wrapped up their first film. They came on to talk about their trials and tribulations within the movie industry and let us into their hilarious world. After working at the elementary school for the first day in Soweto, South Africa, we all sat down to reflect. We talked about what we observed, our first impressions of the kids, and what we had planned for the rest of the week. Some parts got pretty emotional. I loved everything Africa had to offer and am so thankful to be able to do meaningful work with the Only Love Foundation. Ryan, Matt and Steve are the founders of Moverz. They explained what Moverz is, how it got started and what plans they have for the future. We also discussed the time we pitched Vic Dibitetto on being apart of our vegan mafia sketch and how we refuse to give up on the idea.

The Foschino Brothers are two beyond talented musicians representing Long Island. They played some original music, spoke about their experiences within the industry thus far, and explained what it takes to make it within the NYC music scene. At the ages of 11 and 9 they performed at Jones Beach Theatre for over 5000 people, enough said. Gabi Riel is an entrepreneur, producer, and extremely talented musician out of NYC. She’s also the lead singer and sax player for the funk-fusion band, Chameleonize. We talked about the 3 months she spent in Barcelona immersing herself in the culture, her musical journey thus far, the disconnect between millennials and their parents, and much more. Took me a while, but I'm back from Africa and ready to pump these out again. Johnny and Steve run NextStep Entertainment, a collective that promises to bring your party to the next step (which I've seen them personally accomplish when they helped out the Moverz at an event a couple months ago). They came by with their friend Tommy, who plays a mean guitar, and we talked about how the company came to be, Grand Theft Auto, and falling down escalators.

Zak Reyes is a good friend and singer/songwriter. He came on and spoke to LiveMic and I about his musical path then performed an acoustic set. We talked about life and love, and how both are major motivators when writing music. We also had special guest Kaylaship bless us with some holiday music at the very end. Thanks guys, love y'all.

Remus is an actual international man of mystery. He's the reason the studio now has the vibe that it does due to the outstanding artwork he has donated to us. He told story after story about his days as a rave organizer, how he got into the world of underground art and graffiti, and left us with some profound words. I'd normally tell you to follow him on social media, but he's completely off the grid.

To put it mildly, Abushady is a solo artist and the lead singer of the Mariguanas but there is so much more to him. He is also an extremely spiritual being and came on the show to talk about everything under the sun (and beyond). This one went just about 3 hours and we covered just about every mind stimulating topic I can think of. Check out both him and the Mariguanas on all music streaming platforms.

Brandon Ramirez is a singer/songwriter and performer out of Coram, NY. He joined LiveMic and I for another awesome live performance where he played several songs for us. Aside from playing music, Brandon also talked about his upbringing, how he got onto the musical path and his plans for the future.

Live Mic threw a Toys for Tots event at the American Air Power Museum in Farmingdale and we decided to bring the mic along with us. The Foschino Brothers and David Martinez performed, followed by a couple duets with Kayla, to spread some good vibes. Non Stop to Cairo is a New York based reggae/hiphop/ska/dope band. They came on and put on the first full band live show in ROTM history. Monica and Tommy came back to speak about nothing in particular. We ended up learning a lot about hip hop from Tommy, like how Jay-Z and Dr. Dre are both in G-Unit and that @lifeofdesiigner is not a designer.

Ryan Costello is a good friend and Co-Founder of Moverz. We had our first one on one sit down and talked about the origin of Moverz and where we see it going.
