Hour 3 Gio is going against his team, the Vikings, by picking the Eagles this week in his knockout pool. We talked more about Zach Wilson and Gio thinks if Joe Douglas didn't draft him he would be gone. Gio questions whether the locker room respects him or even likes him. Jerry returns for an update and has audio from Rob Saleh on the Jets moving forward without Aaron Rodgers. Gio wishes Zach Wilson was more of an underdog so we could root for him. Maybe Zach should make up a story about his past so we all pull for him. Jerry Jones was asked if he would trade Cooper Rush to the Jets. Jerry has clips of Vic Dibitetto's comments after the Giants blowout loss to the Cowboys. Mike Tomlin thought the Steelers ‘stunk up the joint'. In the final segment of the hour, there are rumors that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are dating. Gio wonders if he's emotionally deep enough for her.
Hour 1 Yesterday on WFAN, you could hear the hosts going through the seven stages of grief regarding Aaron Rodgers' injury. Joe Benigno was in denial and Brandon Tierney went right to anger. We played many short clips of BT freaking out about how the Jets are not dead and how he's standing behind Zach Wilson. Gio still doesn't believe that Zach can be a competent QB. There is too much competition in the AFC to think you are going to do anything in the playoffs without a great QB, no matter how good your defense is. Gio cannot believe how positive Benigno feels after expecting a Super Bowl this year. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Rob Saleh wondering why people are writing an obituary on the Jets. He made it clear Zach is the QB going forward. Micah Parsons thought the Giants should have pulled Daniel Jones once the game got out of hand. Adam Schein doesn't think Zach Wilson should even be in the league. Ronny Mauricio hit a deep HR last night. Max Scherzer has yet another injury with the Rangers. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer & Gio went golfing yesterday. Hour 2 Yesterday The Athletic said Aaron Rodgers didn't like some of the plays Nathaniel Hackett was calling. Boomer said Rodgers held on to the ball way too long. A caller can't believe Jets fans and coaches are buying into Zach Wilson again. Boomer said sometimes it takes time with players, the way it did with Geno Smith. Jerry returns for an update and talks about the level of disappointment after the Aaron Rodgers injury. He also said Zach Wilson is a changed man from a year ago. Joe Benigno was on Evan and Tiki and was very positive. Sean McDermott talked about all the turnovers the Bills had Monday night. Deion Sanders met the media and had a few senior moments talking about their upcoming game against Colorado State. In the final segment of the hour, Gio has a 1979 East Islip football schedule that was found in a wall on Long Island. Boomer then realized his senior year was 1978, so that's not his schedule. Hour 4 The Mets are bringing in David Stearns as President of Baseball Operations. Boomer said he was the best NARP available. That's Non Athletic Regular Person. Gio welcomes him to Hell (New York). A caller wonders if Bill Belichick got a chubby after realizing Zach Wilson was back to QB'ing the Jets. A caller thinks Zach Wilson should date Gisele and then the fans would love him. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Mexican government releasing videos and pictures of aliens that they found that are over 1,000 years old. Moment of The Day involves a fired up Brandon Tierney. In the final segment of the show, Gio is still trying to figure out if he believes the aliens that were unveiled by the Mexican government.

Hour 4: How many New York baseball teams will we be talking about this fall? Gio guesses zero. For every bad team that goes on a run there are a ton that stink all the way through the end of the season. The Yankees have hope but are not playing to the standard we have for the Yankees. So much will come down to when Aaron Judge comes back. The Mets ruined any momentum they could have had with their recent 4 game losing streak. The Mets would have to play almost exactly like last year's team to make a run this year. It's a large enough sample size this year to believe they aren't capable of playing that well. CLo returns for his final update of the day. The Yankees lost a game and series and Aaron Boone told a reporter to “save it” with that question. The Mets only scored 3 runs this weekend. At least they won a game. Gio has a story of our friend Pete Bellotti just missing out on meeting his favorite actor, Paul Rudd. Vic Dibitetto posted about the reaction to his clip being played on the show and then calling into the show. CLo has a Moment of the Day featuring Jerry asking questions he probably regrets. In the final segment of the day, Gio and Jerry offer condolences to the family of Elise Finch from CBS News. Would you legally represent an alleged serial killer?
Hour 1: It's a beautiful summer Monday after a rainy Sunday and the New York baseball teams returned from the All-Star break with a dud. The Mets are done and the Yankees are on the road to nowhere. Gio spent the weekend partying with his father-in-law. They started early Friday afternoon and stayed out very late Friday night. Gio left a sliding glass door open and a lot of mosquitos and flies made their way inside. The Yankees bullpen melted down on Sunday. We know what the Yankees problems are but not if they can be fixed midseason. When will Aaron Judge come back and how close to 100% will he be when he does return? Fans are counting down the days until football season starts. CLo is in for Jerry and begins with the Yankees blowing a game in Colorado and losing another series to a bad team. Aaron Boone got very testy with the media. Jerry doesn't think we appreciate Gerrit Cole enough. The Mets salvaged the finale of their series against the Dodgers. Max Scherzer actually pitched very well. Jerry was at a baseball field with a mound that wasn't centered. Today is deadline day for Saquon Barkley and other franchise-tagged players. DeAndre Hopkins took more money to sign with the Titans. Gio had a problem with the coverage of the Scottish Open. Steph Curry wins at everything. In the final segment of the hour, Gio shares some top - and bizarre - headlines with Jerry. What words could Gio tweet out of context without getting in trouble? We've grown numb to cursing. Does Gio curse more than the average person? Jerry got duped by a well-known scalper and Gio scalped a fake ticket to the Aaron Boone game. Hour 2: How realistic is it that Max Scherzer and/or Justin Verlander can be traded in the next two weeks? Gio would find a way to unload Scherzer. Jerry wonders if Scherzer or Verlander would even waive their no-trade clauses for certain contenders. Maybe these pitchers think they owe it to Steve Cohen to stick it out with the Mets. Will there be a market correction on the price for starting pitchers? Starters make too much money and good relievers don't make enough. CLo returns for an update but first Jerry asks if golfing has cut into Gio's boat time and Gio shares a story about a boat mishap. He's losing it with his boat. Some guys out on the water in Suffolk are not familiar with Gio or WFAN. John Flaherty did play-by-play for Sunday's Yankees loss. What happened to Anthony Rizzo? The Yankees bullpen is going through a tough stretch. The Mets somehow managed to win a game. What happened to Pete Alonso? Max Scherzer had a lot to say about mud in his cleats and his landing spot. In the final segment of the hour, Gio explains that he knows his slip problem is a first-world problem but it's still frustrating. We hear from callers who feel Gio's pain. Gio and Jerry discuss other embarrassing moments to have strangers witness. Hour 3: It's deadline day for Saquon Barkley and the Giants. Will they come to an agreement on a long-term deal? Gio thinks Saquon will have to cave and take a deal he doesn't want because he, unfortunately, won't get a better offer down the road. The Giants offer isn't what Saquon wants but it offers the most security. Jerry thanks there's room for compromise between the two sides. It stinks that running backs are forced to live in this devalued world but it's reality. The disparity between QB and RB contracts is huge. Saquon is fighting an unwinnable battle. Gio and Jerry agree the Giants have a chance to be very good this season. It's great that we can actually look forward to football this year. CLo returns but first Gio discusses eating beaver after killing it while hunting. What careers earn more than running backs? Joe Benigno did a Q&A with the New York Post. The Yankees bullpen blew two leads in Colorado yesterday. The Rockies tried to hand the Yankees the series with horrible fielding mistakes. The Mets found a way on Sunday and avoided getting swept. The Wimbledon final was epic and had some interesting celebrity drama surrounding attendees as well. There were some strange sounds too. In the final segment of the hour, Gio is disappointed in who was chosen to be the “Golden Bachelor” because he's too attractive and too cool. Gio wanted to see a regular guy on the show. Gio could program an amazing TV network. This week's Flubble Montage featured all four members of the show struggling to find their words, and at least one on-air choking fit. (0:00) Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe for some personal stories about getting caught having sex in public, after news broke about a police officer who had to leave his job for having this happen while on duty. Right out of the gate, Sue had a story that made national news on the AP wire. (4:45) The Chaz and AJ Problem Solvers are on the case! Tribe member Mikayla emailed the show recently with an issue regarding her cable company, and a two-year wait for her new house to be connected. Attorney General William Tong was on the phone to share some good news with Mikayla. (13:24) Comedian Vic DiBitetto wasn't laughing about the Oscars debacle. Chaz and AJ spoke to him about the state of live, standup comedy and why he's proud to not be a "Hollywood" comedian. (25:54) Boss Keith's Top 5 was really just an excuse this week for him to brag about being right last week, on all five of his Oscars predictions. Plus, he was pretty upset to not get a call Monday morning for his hot takes on the Will Smith slap. (39:16)
