There's hopes an unprecedented lawsuit against Meta will change social media as we know it. The Facebook and Instagram owner is on trial in California over claims it deliberately designed its platforms to be addictive to young people. More than half of US states have joined the lawsuit, seeking billions of dollars and changes to the platforms. Laura Marquez-Garrett, Counsel of Record in a successful case against Meta in March, says the platforms are designed to be digital nicotine - and it's not ok. "If we can change social media as we know it by taking out the digital nicotine and making it something that is safer, it's a great step forward - and I do think these outcomes could change social media for the better."

Monica Marquez helps leaders turn AI ambition into adoption by building the trust, capability, and new ways of working that make transformation real.AI changed the size of the gap, not the shape of the problem. Adoption stalls in trust, capability, and ways of working, not in the technology itself. The leaders she works with are not behind because they lack talent. They are behind because no one has handed them a system for turning their own judgment into something AI can amplify. Every leader already has a version of authentic intelligence. Her work is helping them codify it, so the artificial kind has something worth amplifying.Monica spent twenty five years inside Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, EY, and Google, building the leadership development and professional growth systems that helped established professionals advance, stay relevant, and grow as the ground shifted under them. Talent, leadership, and transformation at scale, inside organizations that do not have room for guesswork. In 2019 she left corporate to co-found Beyond Barriers with Nikki Barua, building on Nikki's bestselling book to create an AI powered professional development platform that accelerated success for women and all leaders. Today she is co-founder and Chief Product Officer of FlipWork. The throughline has never moved: she builds pathways into what comes next.Unlocking Humanity with Ancient Knowledge Hosted by John Edmonds Kozma Unimpressed Podcast offers a groundbreaking look into consciousness, ancient wisdom, and the nonconscious aspects of humanity via the Quantum Field. Host Mike Palmer connects with Monica Marquez, founder of FlipWork and founding director of the TIDE Center at UNT Dallas, to explore how humans can navigate the rapid disruption of AI in the workplace. Drawing from her deep background in human capital, diversity, and leadership development at industry giants like Goldman Sachs, Google, and Bank of America, Monica brings a deeply human-centered approach to the AI revolution. Mike and Monica skip the standard AI hype to discuss why simply rolling out AI tools isn't enough to drive real adoption. They dive into the psychology of AI integration, unpacking what Monica calls the "identity bottleneck" - the challenge workers face when shifting from a traditional mindset where "effort equals success" to a modern reality where "impact equals success." Monica also introduces her "long division" analogy for AI, explaining why we shouldn't ban the tool in classrooms or boardrooms, but instead require users to show their work and actively interrogate the AI's logic. Key Discussion Topics: * The Identity Bottleneck: Why our traditional conditioning to reward "grit and elbow grease" is causing resistance to AI's effortless outputs, and how to overcome the feeling of "cheating." * Measuring AI Fluency: A look at FlipWork's psychometric diagnostic, which assesses "agentic velocity" (individual adoption) and "enterprise symbiosis" (organizational support). * The Calculator Analogy: How educators and leaders can demand the "long division" of AI prompting to combat passive consumption ("work slop") and prevent cognitive atrophy. * Agentic Teams: Why AI isn't a one-size-fits-all solution and how to orchestrate specialized models (like Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini) just like human team members. * Democratizing Expertise: How everyday users can use AI as an accessible thinking partner to overcome biases, expand diversity of thought, and level the playing field. Whether you're an educator, an enterprise leader, or an individual trying to disrupt yourself before you get disrupted, this episode offers a practical blueprint for multiplying human genius in the AI age.

Many health tech and med tech companies don't struggle because of weak products, they struggle because buyers don't clearly see or trust their value. In this episode, Saul Marquez of Outcomes Rocket, who has interviewed nearly 2,000 healthcare leaders, shows growth-stage companies how to turn complex offerings into clear positioning, real pipeline, and measurable revenue in the healthcare market. In this episode of Marketer of the Day, Saul breaks down his Discover–Define–Deliver framework for healthcare marketing strategy. Instead of jumping straight into tactics, cold email, conferences, content, LinkedIn, PR, he shows why most teams need a fast but disciplined “discovery sprint” to map the landscape, clarify positioning, and understand the real decision-makers and early adopters in their space. Saul explains how one week of focused discovery can save months of wasted execution and move you into the top tier of companies that actually have a documented marketing strategy (only 28% of med tech companies do). Saul also shares a powerful case study of a client with a truly innovative “smart hospital” platform that the market didn't know how to categorize. By doing voice-of-customer research, segmenting early vs. late adopters, and building a targeted list of the right CIOs and clinical leaders, Saul's team helped them stand out as the smart hospital player. Through a combination of focused podcasting, thought leadership, PR partnerships, and a smart hospital maturity model, the company went from “bumping their head against the wall” to being acquired by a major medical device organization. The conversation then dives into podcasting as a B2B growth engine in healthcare. Saul outlines three types of podcasters and explains why most B2B companies are in the “business owner” camp, not media companies chasing downloads. He reframes podcasts as a way to create contacts and contracts, not vanity metrics. Using his content flywheel, a single episode becomes SEO content, social posts, sales enablement snippets, PR assets, and opportunities for pod swaps and deeper relationships with buyers and partners. Downloads are vanity; strategically leveraged conversations are where the real ROI is. https://youtu.be/6F0aamX1bgo?si=KgMDfiuUCkpzAZEi Throughout the episode, Saul returns to a central theme: strategy over shiny objects. With marketers bombarded by new channels, tools, and “can't-miss” offers, the real advantage comes from knowing what to avoid and staying anchored to a clear, evidence-based strategy. He calls out “sleepy opportunities” most teams ignore, like repurposing PR into sales messaging, which only 6.1% of organizations do, and shows how focusing on these overlooked levers can create a serious competitive advantage. If you're in health tech or med tech and feel like you have a great product but inconsistent growth, this episode will give you a practical roadmap to build trust, clarify your message, and turn strategy into revenue with Saul's Discover–Define–Deliver approach. Quotes: “Strategy precedes tactics. If you don't do the strategy work, your chances of success decrease significantly, and you're leaving your business to chance.” “If you don't enjoy a marketing channel, you won't stay with it. Consistency is key, so do the things you're actually going to stick with.” “The most important thing you can do in your marketing is avoid the things that don't get you to the end goal as fast as possible.” Contact Details: Explore Saul Marquez's Official Website Healthcare Marketing Built on Insight. Continua a leggere QUI.

Dre Harrison and Pete McLaren sit down to review a wild weekend at Brno for the Czech GP (Don't worry, Lewis is back next week, he's on holiday)The weekend was dominated by Marco Bezzecchi being banned from the Grand Prix after striking a marshal during a crash in the Sprint Race. With his ban, and Marquez winning the Grand Prix, it reduces Bezzecchi's lead over Marquez to just 40 points from 102 just two weeks prior in Mugello. Is this a weakness for Bez going forward, and was it right he was banned? The race itself is also analysed, as Marquez had to dig extra deep to hold off Ai Ogura's worn-tyre pace, while Pecco Bagnaia managed his fourth podium finish in a row. And finally, some more follow-up on the F1-esque Concorde Agreement that the sport and factories agreed on. But what does that mean for you as a fan? Hosted on Acast. It's Borrie's worst nightmare come to life. Not only did Marc Marquez do Marc Marquez things in Hungary at the weekend but Tug has done the calculations and it seems that mathematically the Spaniard can still win the championship. Last year was the first time we went to Balaton, and the result wasn't great. This year? Hate the track, love the riders. And I say 'riders', plural, because it takes two to tango. And people, did we get one hell of a dance between Acosta and Marquez today. Yes, the king is back and schooling everyone with 1,5 functional arms. Keen readers might notice that this is slightly less than the average of 2, but leave it to Marquez to make the best of it and show everyone how it's done. And if that doesn't make you excited, then just think:He's only going to get better from here. Who also keeps steadily doing better is Pedro Acosta, showing us how gentlemen duel while speeding over the tarmac with Marc. He's making the KTM look good, perhaps even better than it really is. Now let's put him on a Ducati next year, and see what happens...So yes, Mat and Peter have got plenty to talk about. Also, is this going to be the year that the Bez becomes champion? You never know...---Want more? Visit our website or support us on Patreon. With big thanks as always to Brad Baloo from The Next Men and Gentleman's Dub Club for writing our theme song.
