The Catalan Gp is covered on this episode. With usually dull racing Jim and Rich jim and rich focused more on the news of the week. The announcement was that Gunther Steiner of drive to survive F1 fame is now a MotoGP own having bought the Tech3 team. Out on track the Moto3 race only became interesting in the last 5 laps. Jim was happy that for the first time in a long long time the riders kept out of the pit lane exit while riding 5 wide on the front straight. Piqueras took the win but despite a long lap penalty Rueda finished second and still has a commanding lead in the championship. In Moto2 Holgado lead every lap to take his first Moto2 win. The best par of the race was Munoz's pass of Dixion going into turn one. I was a masterful outside to inside maneuver but sadly Dixion was able to get back by in the late stages of the race. In MotoGP Marquez won, no not Marc, but Alex. Alex was unbeatable by anyone but himself as he crashed out of a comfortable win in the Sprint and handed the win to his brother. On Sunday he was unbeatable taking a commanding win after an early dice with Marc. Rio Hondo Prep will host the Marquez Gladiators on Friday night at Kare Park where both teams will bring 3-0 records into Week 2. The Gladiators have blown out all of their opponents and are averaging 46 points per game. Marquez travels well and you can count on a good showing from their pep squads in Irwindale. Rio Hondo fans have a tailgate planned for 4:00pm so it should be a great environment for high school football. Our guest this week is 2008 CIF Champion Tim Esquerra. Well, it can't be the first option if there's a two-second gap between those chargers up front and the runner-ups behind them. Maybe the answer is a lot more simple. They doing fantastic right now, but a lot of that has to do with those above-mentioned Spanish brothers. E' durata 10 giri l'illusione di Marco Bezzecchi, in testa al GP di Ungheria. Il tempo di un paio di controsorpassi a Marc Marquez. Partito con una gomma soffice posteriore il pilota dell'Aprilia ha cercato di costruire il suo vantaggio sul ducatista, che aveva scelto una gomma media, ma quando lo spagnolo è transitato primo sul traguardo all'11° passaggio è apparso subito chiaro che l'esito della gara era scritto. (la cronaca-commento della gara QUI)Settima vittoria consecutiva e vantaggio abissale per Marc Marquez sul fratello e su Bagnaia, tanto che matematicamente ma con un po' di fortuna potrebbe aggiudicarsi il titolo fin dal GP di Misano.Lui ha detto che preferirebbe in Giappone, perché se lo vincesse prima significherebbe che Alex ha avuto ulteriori battute di arresto, ma tant'è: ormai ci siamo.Paolo, Carlo e Marco parlano di questa possibilità, ma anche di questo motomondiale 2025 senza storia nel quale, peraltro, KTM ed Aprilia si stanno avvicinando al rendimento della Ducati che a Balaton, senza Marquez, sarebbe sprofondata.

Quella della Sprint di Balaton è stata finora, forse, la vittoria più facile del campionato per Marquez. Mercedes is third with 130 wins, and Red Bull is fourth with 124. And get this—McLaren's four straight 1-2 finishes? It's only the second time they've done that, with the first being way back in 1988. Ferrari has five straight 1-2 finishes in 1952 and 2002, Mercedes had five straight in 2014, from late 2015 to early 2016, and again in 2019. Ferrari & Red Bull's Hungarian GP Meltdown: The Tea is HOT! ☕ Okay, so what happened with Ferrari and Leclerc in Hungary? Apparently, the team is at a loss to explain his collapse. Lì aveva davanti una intervistatrice, non è stato un agguato ed è stata una sua decisione rispondere come ha risposto. Ma dai, capita, e del resto è la prima volta in carriera che si trova di fronte ad una situazione così difficile ed inattesa come quella di ‘aver imparato a prendere la paga' (parole sue) dal compagno di squadra.Il fatto che Tardozzi, più che Dall'Igna abbia gettato acqua sul fuoco va a merito della Ducati e apprendiamo con piacere che con la squadra non ci sia nessun problema, ma non è - come dice Pecco - che ‘fa figo parlare di cose di cui non si sa nulla'. La stampa parla di ciò che vede ed ascolta. Non del nulla.
