The offseason has been fairly quiet for the Ohio State Buckeyes over the last month, but the team has started spring practice, and storylines are sure to surface over the coming weeks. In the meantime, we reconvened to discuss important topics, such as Ohio State players switching jersey numbers. Several Buckeyes will be sporting new numbers on their shirts this fall, and we now know which number some of the incoming freshman and transfer portal players will wear. We looked at the Sunday league as well, to find out which former Buckeyes might (or might not) change jersey numbers, but have changed entire jerseys. Several Ohio State products have switched teams and some are still in the process of finding the next stop on their career path.Ohio State legend Eddie George is returning to the Buckeye State to coach Bowling Green. The 1995 Heisman Trophy winner is a solid candidate and could be on a bright career path trajectory, as some of the Falcons' coaches of the past have gone on to bigger and better things. This may be an Ohio State football podcast, but it's one that doesn't miss the opportunity to point out when things go wrong for Michigan. As such, we touch on former Michigan assistant coach Matt Weiss' 24-count indictment and what it could mean for the Wolverines, especially if any of it ends up tying into the ongoing sign stealing investigation. Finally, we discuss some big dates on the OSU calendar, including Ohio State's Pro Day and the Buckeyes' trip to the White House. We are in our monthly offseason schedule, but we could have more than one show a month depending on how much news there is. We will return to our weekly schedule in August, as camp opens and we get you ready for the 2025 Ohio State football season. We would love to hear from you, so please reach out with your feedback and questions via email at SilverBulletsPod@gmail.com Any questions directed toward us will be answered on our next show.Be sure to subscribe, rate, review, share, and follow the show over on Twitter at @SilvrBulletsPod.As always, thanks for listening!0:20 — New jersey numbers for OSU players, new homes for ex-Buckeyes in the NFL, and Eddie George returns to Ohio.24:13 — Matt Weiss brings Michigan more misery.28:40 — An Ohio State recruit from Chip's hometown and some upcoming dates of significance for the Buckeyes.

Start rocking with Ramblin' Gamblin' Man Bob Seger… NOW! Jim Lampley and OJ Simpson got freaky back in the day. Michelle Obama is proving the podcasting grift may be over. Chrissy Teigen is failing at her podcast. Kendra Wilkinson's slutty past gives TJ Holmes and Amy Robach's podcast a boost. GMA's star anchors are at WAR! More March Madness: The McNeese State Cowboys' manager is a huge NCAA star now. Some people are saying he might be special needs. A water bottle almost killed someone during a NCAA basketball game according to the announcers. A Karen Read expert rails against Drew's shoe tightness theory. That 11-year-old that snubbed Pittsburgh Pirates Paul Skenes got PAID. It's getting worse for Alec Baldwin as his wife emasculates him again. Their show sucks. Hot Mug Shot Girl Lily Stewart got arrested AGAIN. Look at this blubbering mess of a mug shot. People are keying Tesla's and the internet is doxxing them… sometime incorrectly. Some people are using their feces to vandalize the cars. The NCAA wrestling community loves Donald Trump. Bill Maher will meet with the President. We find more KISS content to sort through. Meet 14 cool sharks (and one manta ray) and see why it's important to BE NICE TO SHARKS! Though they're often portrayed as vicious man-eaters, sharks actually kill fewer than 10 people per year. Yet those myths cause real harm: many species are being hunted to extinction, with as many as 100-200 million sharks being killed each year. This humorous book humanizes the incredible shark through breathtaking, original, underwater photography along with incredible facts about these amazing creatures in the wild—sending kids a crucial message about conservation in an irresistible format. When RIND Snacks debuted in 2018, founder and CEO Matt Weiss won plaudits for creating an innovative and eye-catching brand of upcycled fruit snacks. Six years later, the New York-based entrepreneur is being lauded for transforming RIND into a vertically integrated healthy snack platform. Industry acclaim is nice, but Matt will say that his primary focus is to create lasting value for his company, shareholders and consumers. Last month, RIND, which markets dried fruit snacks and fruit and nut mixes that are sold in retailers across the U.S., announced the acquisition of Small Batch Organics, a Vermont-based manufacturer of granola products. According to a press release about the deal, the combined companies will have a retail footprint that will include 12,000 locations and generate over $25 million in sales by the end of 2024. RIND's decision to acquire Small Batch Organics is rooted in Matt's mantra: “do something to drive ever-forward progress.” It's a statement of intent to which he frequently returned during our interview at Natural Products Expo West 2024, held in Anaheim from March 12-16, 2024. As part of our conversation, Matt explains why he wanted to develop RIND as a platform snack brand from the outset; how he attempts to maximize the value of outside capital; how the company used alt-retail channels, foodservice, and travel stores to drive cash flow; and why investing early in brand ethos and a polished product has consistently paid dividends. Show notes: 0:35: Matt Weiss, Founder & CEO, RIND Snacks — Taste Radio editor Ray Latif admires Matt's hoodie game, the decision to acquire Small Batch Organics and why financial resources are focused on innovation, staffing and “operational excellence.” He also explains with “Kill ‘Em With Rindness” is key to the company's sales strategy, the value of bootstrapping before raising outside capital, his belief in “the one thing that never goes out of style in business,” and how he discussed the plan to vertically integrate RIND with its investors.
