Noah and Daren quite enjoyed "Thor: Ragnarok", the third Thor movie and newest entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they also feel that the heavier emphasis on comedy may sacrifice a little too much of the character Thor that comics fans have come to know and love over the years. Noah and Daren tackle "The Snowman", one of those films that straddles the suspense/horror fence. Although the novel was very good, the film falls flat and then some.
Noah and Daren are huge comic book fans and have been looking forward to this film for a long time, despite not being familiar with the original comic. Noah and Daren are happy that "John Wick: Chapter 2" is an enjoyable movie that adds to the underlying sense of humor found in the first film, but were a bit concerned with the relentless nature of the over-the-top violence in the second one.
The guys had a few reservations trusting an M. Night Shyamalan story again, and were pleasantly surprised by a very good movie... up until the end. Again.

Noah and Daren really enjoyed documentary "Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman's The Fantastic Four", and the insights and details about how the film was rushed through filming simply to maintain the production company's rights to The Fantastic Four, else they'd revert back to Marvel.
Noah and Daren really enjoyed Pete's Dragon, and think the reimagining doesn't harm the original, while still managing to tell an engaging (if perhaps a little overlong) story.
