This week on the show, Game Update 7.2 – Showdown on Ruhnuk is live. One of its many features is the PvP revamp which introduced PvP Seasons 1 and removed Ranked PvP. I'll share my experiences with the PvP Season and discuss what went into making that decision to remove Ranked and if it was the right thing to do. As you know, the name of the podcast is The State of the Old Republic. I thought it would be a great time to discuss just that.

The Nightlife Event arrived early, and the Double XP Event arrived late. I’ll tell you what happened this week in the Old Republic. When last we visited Balmorra, the Imperials were in full control, but the more they tighten their grip, the more the planet slips through their fingers. I return to my story project as the Republic looks to take back Balmorra. And finally, I’ll give you my spoiler-free review of Solo: A Star Wars Story. You might want to buckle-up.
