Will the good times continue with the Bad Batch show? NO! In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "The Clone Conspiracy" (s2e7). We return to Coruscant where we see some Clones are discussing what happened on Kamino, and it's clear someone in the empire wants that conversation to stop. We see the return of Senate politics while the shadow of facism continues to rise. Nothing like a great sci-fi story to show us a mirror about what is going on with our world. What do the divas think of this episode? Listen and find out!

We return from our short break to discuss how our bestie Crosshair is doing, and it is not so great. In this episode of Dark Side Divas we discuss the Star Wars - The Bad Batch episode "The Solitary Clone" (s2e3). Crosshair is living his "best" life on Coruscant recovering from injury, but he is reinstated and is immediately being given an assignment. Why is this one of the darkest episodes of Star Wars we have every covered, and what do the divas think about the episode? Listen and find out!
He's out for revenge, and he doesn't care who he takes down with him.The Maul – Shadow Lord Season 1 premiere plunges us into the gritty, abstracted cityscape of Janix, where Maul is unraveling at the edges. In our recap of “Chapter 1: The Dark Revenge” and “Chapter 2: Sinister Schemes,” we talk through the differences between Janix and Coruscant, and how the moody, macabre styling of this show reflect Maul's twisted headspace. We also discuss our two Jedi on the run, ego death among the Sith, and cheeky chaotic evil droids.Timestamps:00:00:00 Who Are We?00:02:23 Plot Summary00:10:11 Aesthetics and Meta Reasons For Them00:18:10 Jedi on the Run00:22:19 Janix vs. Coruscant00:34:52 Ego Death Among the Sith00:50:34 Bae Watch00:56:51 Closing ThoughtsWant more Growing Up Skywalker? After narrowly escaping a very questionable situation on Coruscant, Joeba and Ripley find themselves crash-landing on Nintendopia — a planet where cryptids don't hide… they throw hands.A full roster of legendary creatures enters the arena in a Smash-style showdown, complete with cursed items, environmental chaos, and absolutely zero balance patches. From Bigfoot's questionable stamina to Slender Man's psychological warfare, every matchup spirals further out of control. And just when it feels like a winner might emerge… a cosmic raid boss enters the chat. Good luck.

The search for the holocrons continues. This Endorian Life is a nostalgic Star Wars podcast from the Radio Meanwhile Network.
Hunter and Jessica have finally reached the end of the road with the Andor Season 2 finale, and it's a straight shot right into the events of Rogue One. The hosts break down the claustrophobic Coruscant rescue where a spectacularly lethal K-2SO helps create the ultimate "ISB sandwich," putting a permanent "hurt" on Officer Heurt. Meanwhile, Major Partagaz realizes his tyrannical web has finally collapsed, choosing to ironically listen to Nemik's rebel manifesto one last time before making his dark exit.Back on Yavin 4, Cassian's massive intel dump about the critical phrase "Jedha, Kyber, and Erso" gets a surprisingly underwhelming reaction from Rebel command. The hosts discuss Mon Mothma's tense Zoom call with a paranoid Saw Gerrera, and hilariously debate whether Bail Organa is secretly shopping on Coruscant for metal bikinis—or just practical claw clips—for a teenage Princess Leia. They also marvel at Cassian's miraculously fresh Rogue One haircut and his adorable dedication to watering his plants before heading off on a suicide mission to the Ring of Kafrene.Hunter and Jessica try to hold back tears discussing the emotionally devastating final montage, which features Dedra Meero sporting Narkina 5 prison stripes, Krennic admiring his shiny new Death Star, and Bix hiding out on "fake Lothal" with a very surprising baby Andor. Stick around as the hosts map out their upcoming pod schedule, transitioning from a Rogue One rewatch straight into the highly anticipated April release of the Darth Maul: Shadow Lord series.Join us on Facebook: The Purrgil Pod. A double-cross. A stolen shipment. And a revenge plan that makes absolutely zero sense. After being burned by one of Coruscant's most powerful families, Joeba Fett does what any reasonable space pirate would do…He crashes their gala, charms their most dangerous socialite, and kidnaps her mid-party.Enter Lady Vessryn of Coruscant — elegant, ruthless, and now very much stuck aboard the Black Swirl. What follows is a spiraling mix of:High-society dramaReality-TV-level chaosQuestionable decisions in hyperspaceAnd a “romantic” dynamic that quickly turns into mutual destructionBy the end… reputations are ruined, alliances are shattered, and somehow Joeba is still asking about a second date.
The Jedi Knights serve as guardians of peace and justice across the galaxy. From the shining towers of Coruscant to the farthest frontier worlds, they stand ready to defend the Republic. But being a Jedi means more than wielding a lightsaber—it means listening to the Force and trusting its guidance. In this episode, we continue reading The Nameless and explore the ideals that define the Jedi Order during this era. The Republic depends on them to maintain balance among thousands of star systems. Yet the galaxy is vast, and not every threat can be seen coming. As new questions begin to surface across the stars, the Jedi must rely on both wisdom and courage. Join us as we continue the reading and dive deeper into the High Republic. We hope you enjoy today's show. Hunter and Jessica are back to break down the penultimate episode of Andor Season 2, and the tables have officially turned! It's a bad day to be Dedra Meero. The hosts revel in her spectacular fall from grace as she finds herself strapped to an interrogation chair, getting threatened by Director Krennic and a rather intimidating drill. Hunter and Jessica debate if Dedra has essentially become the new Syril Karn, desperately craving validation from superiors who frankly couldn't care less.Meanwhile, Cassian, Melshi, and a wonderfully sassy, parade-boasting K2-SO jump into a U-Wing for a high-stakes rescue mission to Coruscant. The hosts try to decode the capital planet's absurdly complex, 5000-level 3D zip codes, and dissect the tense cliffhanger ending where the rebels and the ISB finally collide at a safe house with radios buried deep in its concrete.Plus, stick around for a quick tangent on Darth Maul's robotic "plastic surgery" ahead of the new Shadow Lord show, and hear Jessica's passionate, survey-fueled campaign to get a wing named after herself at the upcoming Star Wars Saga Museum. Hunter and Jessica are back to break down the intense pressure of Andor Season 2, Episode 10, "Make it Stop". The timeline has officially jumped to one year before the Battle of Yavin, and poor double-agent Lonnie is absolutely "shook". After being buttered up by a surprisingly gentle Luthen on a very public Coruscant park bench, Lonnie finally delivers the ultimate Rogue One setup, dropping the intel on the Empire's kyber crystal strip-mining operation, Jedha, and a guy named Galen Erso. Sadly, it's RIP for Lonnie, though at least a Dave Filoni-approved Loth cat is the one to find his body. Meanwhile, Dedra Meero smarmily struts into the antique shop thinking she's finally trapped her rebel spy, only to discover Luthen has melted his comms with acid and literally stabbed himself to avoid interrogation. Hunter and Jessica question Luthen's incredibly messy methods, debating whether a Mandalorian-style poison pill would have been a much smarter play. Ultimately, Dedra's solo ambition completely blows up in her face, resulting in her getting arrested and questioned by her very own newly-promoted assistant. But the real MVP of the episode is Kleya. The hosts dissect her tragic backstory of witnessing Imperial executions as a child and her progression into a hardened rebel. In the present timeline, she pulls off a masterclass hospital infiltration by stealing scrubs, hijacking a hovering space-wheelchair, and casually abandoning an elderly alien grandmother to sneak past security. It all leads to a heartbreaking final sequence where Kleya must finish the job, crying as she pulls the plug on Luthen's life support. Plus, stick around for the hosts' quick thoughts on the upcoming Andor comic bridge to Rogue One, Darth Maul's glorious return in Shadow Lord, and the countdown to The Mandalorian and Grogu.Join us on Facebook: The Purrgil Pod. Starting off in FOLLOW UP, we've got a tax economist who actually made money betting against the "efficiency" of Elon's budget-slashing fever dreams, while Tesla is busy trying to dodge a $243 million jury verdict for an Autopilot-assisted fatality. Not content with being legally liable, Tesla is also suing the California DMV because they're offended someone called their "Autopilot" and "Full Self-Driving" marketing deceptive—ironic, since Jack Dorsey just "proactively" halved the staff at Block to make room for more AI slop. Speaking of which, Goldman Sachs is here to remind us that all this AI spending added a grand total of zero to the US GDP last year, mostly because we're just exporting all that cash to overseas chip makers while 80% of execs admit the tech hasn't actually done anything for productivity yet.Moving into IN THE NEWS, Sam Altman had the audacity to compare ChatGPT's energy-sucking habits to the 20-year evolution of a human, though the internet wasn't exactly buying the "my bot is just like a baby" defense. Anthropic actually stood its ground against the Pentagon's demand for killer robots and mass surveillance, so naturally, the military just signed a deal to put Elon's Grok in their classified systems instead—because what could go wrong with an "edgy" LLM in the war room? Meanwhile, cities are dumping AI surveillance contracts as citizens start a literal "smash-the-snitch-box" campaign against Flock's license plate readers, Google's AI is busy inserting racial slurs into news alerts, and the White House is apparently harboring a staffer moonlighting as a racist "masterpiece" creator on X. We've also got Reddit being slapped with a $20 million fine in the UK for being lazy with age checks, while Discord and Apple scramble to build verification tools that hopefully won't leak your entire identity to a hacker in Belarus. In MEDIA CANDY, the Paramount-Skydance merger is leaving the industry in a cold sweat of "synergy" layoffs, but at least we're getting more Game of Thrones spinoffs and Star Trek reboots to rot our brains. Face/Off 2 lost its director, Ryan Coogler is taking on The X-Files, and Google wants to use AI to turn music into generic "lo-fi" background noise for the masses.Over in APPS & DOODADS, OpenAI is planning a 2027 smart speaker that literally watches you through a camera—because you definitely wanted a $300 Sam Altman-shaped eye in your kitchen—while the Dark Sky creators are back with "Acme Weather" for the low price of $25 a year.We wrap up THE DARK SIDE WITH DAVE with a deep dive into "Under Pressure" and Coruscant's urban sprawl, leaving us to reminisce about the days when KPT Bryce was the pinnacle of tech—back when "generative art" was just a fractal that took six hours to render.Sponsors:DeleteMe - Get 20% off your DeleteMe plan when you go to JoinDeleteMe.com/GOG and use promo code GOG at checkout.SquareSpace - go to squarespace.com/GRUMPY for a free trial.
Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universesPrime Video unveiled the first trailer for Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage in his first leading TV role as Ben Reilly—a name change from the Peter Parker version he voiced in Into the Spider-Verse—a down-on-his-luck 1930s New York private investigator forced to reckon with his past as the city's only superhero. The trailer also teased multiple villains and concluded with the tagline With No Power Comes No Responsibility. The eight-episode series is set to launch May 27 as a full binge release with each episode available in both black-and-white and color versions.Lucasfilm dropped the first full trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu Tuesday morning, setting up Star Wars' return to theaters after seven years with Din Djarin and Grogu enlisted by the New Republic to combat scattered Imperial warlords. The May 22 release directed by Jon Favreau and co-written with newly promoted Lucasfilm president Dave Filoni features Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver as former Rebel pilot Colonel Ward, and Jeremy Allen White voicing Rotta the Hutt, with footage showcasing Coruscant, Hoth, gladiator fights, and action sequences far bigger than the Disney+ series. Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights capitalized on Valentine's Day weekend with $83M globally ($37.5M domestic, $45.5M international), marking Warner Bros' ninth consecutive number one opening. Sony's GOAT overperformed with $35.1M domestic; the best opening for an original animated film since Pixar's Element, while Amazon MGM's Crime 101 stumbled with just $16.3M domestic against its $90M budget. The romantic drama skewed heavily female with 76% of audiences and represents record openings for both Fennell and Jacob Elordi, though the holiday boost may be short-lived as GOAT already beat it on both Sunday and Monday.Jason Momoa will star in Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions' film adaptation of Helldivers, directed by Justin Lin, set to hit theaters on November 10, 2027. The film is based on the popular video game franchise in which an elite unit of soldiers called Helldivers battle alien creatures threatening the fictional planet of Super Earth, with Helldivers 2 having sold more than 12 million units in its first four months after its 2024 launch.Blumhouse-Atomic Monster and Behaviour Interactive have tapped David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Alexandre Aja to write the feature film adaptation of the horror video game Dead by Daylight. Aja will not direct the film as he is committed to directing Under Paris 2 for Netflix, so the companies are beginning the search for a director, with James Wan, Jason Blum, and Stephen Mulrooney serving as producers.James Van Der Beek, the actor best known for playing Dawson Leery on the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek, died on February 11, 2026, at age 48 after battling Stage 3 colorectal cancer. Van Der Beek was diagnosed with the disease in 2023 and made his diagnosis public in November 2024, with his family confirming he passed peacefully and met his final days with courage, faith, and grace.Apple has acquired the IP and all rights to Severance from producer Fifth Season in a deal worth just under $70 million, with Apple Studios now producing future seasons in-house while Fifth Season remains as an executive producer. The series has been renewed for Season 3 with a fourth season considered a lock, and showrunner Dan Erickson and director Ben Stiller are open to expanding the franchise with prequels, spinoffs, and foreign versions to keep fans engaged during gaps between seasons.Lionsgate and Saber Interactive have announced a AAA John Wick video game in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Keanu Reeves reprising his role providing the character's look, voice, and involvement in production alongside franchise director Chad Stahelski.

It's Star Wars Podcast Day 2026, and we're bringing the Star Wars community a very special episode with a new "What If" scenario. This time we're asking: What if Anakin had told Obi-Wan, instead of Mace Windu, that Palpatine was a Sith? What would have happened? Assuming Obi-Wan was not on Utapau and was instead on Coruscant at the time, what would the outcome have been? Would anything be different, or would it have remained the same? We propose many scenarios throughout this episode, but we also want to hear from you - what do YOU think would have happened? Was Anakin too far gone? Would Obi-Wan have died instead of Mace, and thus changed the entire course of Luke and Leia's futures? There's so much to ponder, and what better occasion than Star Wars Podcast Day to muse it over? (And of course we want to give a special thanks to our amazing patrons for providing the idea for this episode!) We return to the final days of the old Republic. But not the Old Republic. That's different, now, that's like... an even older time before all this. Anyway, the Battle of Coruscant has concluded and its heroes, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi can finally come home for a little rest. And a little scheming. And a little paranoia. The Jedi Council members spin their wheels despite having all the clues. Palpatine spins the world around his finger. And Padme, Anakin's Wife (remember this), is also there. The start of 2026 means we're only a few months away from the first Star Wars movie since The Rise of Skywalker. And speaking of the final film in the sequel trilogy, we thought it would be a good time to look back at the original plan for Episode IX: Colin Trevorrow's “Duel of the Fates” script. In this episode, Haley's friend Jack Merritt joins us to discuss the highs and lows of Trevorrow's story, from a worthy role for Finn to a controversial take on the dark side. We also cover Trevorrow's portrayal of Luke Skywalker, his plan for Kylo Ren, and his use of Coruscant and Mortis. If you like imagining what could have been, this is the episode for you.
If you don't slow down you're not going to find what you're looking for, or at least you'll miss our episode about Lightsaber Lost! Ahsoka Tano loses her lightsaber to a pickpocket in the bowels of Coruscant and turns to an unlikely Jedi for help. We discuss the important lessons Ahsoka learns, the hidden easter eggs Dave Filoni planted for us, as well as our love for Jedi Master Tera Sinube in this return to The Clone Wars! Hosted on Acast.

The Purrgil Pod: Calibrate Your Enthusiasm (and Your Cough Medicine)Welcome back to The Purrgil Pod, where hosts Jessica and Hunter are battling colds and exhaustion to recap a very tension-filled episode! It was a festive evening indeed, where the ISB looked fantastic in their dress whites (don't get us started on Krennic and his little sash—oh, hot!). We debate why Mon Mothma's amazing, ribbon-covered outfits and great collar pieces aren't already available on Etsy! The tension is building as the Coruscant party and the Gorman heist go down simultaneously. While Cassian worries about protecting Gorman, Luthan is looking at the bigger picture, stating that if the effort "goes up in flames, it will burn very brightly". You definitely won't be laughing when we cover the heartbreaking tragedy involving Vel and Cinta, or when Bix decides she's had enough and delivers fiery closure to Gorst. Also, learn why you must "Calibrate your enthusiasm" when dealing with the ISB! And please, somebody tell us: Do we really need more Porgs in the next Mandalorian movie? This episode has everything—even Hunter forgetting the name of Coruscant. And not even one joke about this being our 69th episode. We are so grown up! Tune in!
Today we discuss Retreat from Coruscant, the next short story in Tales from the Empire. Taryn Clancy delivers mail throughout the Core Systems. She's on Coruscant making a routine delivery when the unthinkable happens. The New Republic's capital comes under attack by Imperial forces. She, and the New Republic, quickly flee the planet. This story helps bridge the gap between the original Thrawn trilogy and Dark Empire.
Today we continue the Young Jedi Knights series with The Lost Ones. Jacen, Jaina, Tenel Ka, and Lowbacca are visiting Coruscant to see one of the twins' old childhood friends, Zekk. He's a little older than they are and lives in the underbelly of the New Republic capital. But the Shadow Academy comes calling and their friendship will never be the same again.
Greetings from Coruscant Park.John & Matt discuss whether there were Theme Parks in the Star Wars galaxy far, far away! They agree there must have been, but what did they look like?
