If your business dies the moment you take a week off, you have a job rather than an asset, and this is why high performers burn out. They teach a client everything they know for a one-time fee, only for that client to walk away.Because you only got paid once, you try to find another person with the right personality and skills to teach every few months to stay afloat. It also prevents you from sharing the long-term rewards of the success you create in others. But what if there's a business model where you can be a mentor who gets rewarded for the ongoing success of your team?In this Diamond Life Mentor Uncut episode, Balazs W Kardos shares how high performers burnout and what to do to manage it with a dream team where everybody wins. You will hear powerful insights and motivation around:Leveling up your business partnersTargeting high-level business ownersWhy high performers burn outMaking residual income in network marketingFinding the right people with their pain points and skillsCreating a sustainable business modelTwo of Balazs W Kardos' strategies are joining a high-ticket and sustainable business and partnering with people who have relevant skills and community.Once you choose the high-ticket network marketing model and work smart for three to five years, showing up becomes more optional than a requirement because your team duplicates your systems. High Zaptitude, Grookey Community Day, and the start of Precious Pals has kept us busy over the last few days. With the Taken Over portion of Precious Pals landing this weekend, we will see a ton of activity in-game as it overlaps with Shadow Raikou Raid Day. This week gave us a little bit of everything, and we are loving it. Into the Depths is coming up with the release of Flimmet, however its Evolution, Glimmora is nowhere to be found. Will we see more Megas from Legaends Z-A being announced? With the announcement of Mega Victreebel and Mega Malimar being added to GO Tour: Kalos, it appears so. Let's hope the Mega meta continues to develop in a positive way, while allowing the game to stretch its legs and release things over time. Our Save the Dates for next season are here, and what we are already seeing is event EVERY Saturday. We speculate on what this sudden structuring of events could mean, and how it blocks gameplay from those that work on Saturdays. With event announcements rolling out leading to and after the Seasonal announcement, we could see the most packed event calendar yet. We dig into the listener mailbag with a voicemail, text and email. From new listeners to great ideas to feel good stories, the mailbag delivered big this week. After the mail, we discuss how different group sizes and gameboard environments have a dramatic impact on gameplay. We touch on Solo grinding, car grinding, and small and large scale Campfire events. There is no wrong way to play this game, and we want to hear from you. Hit us up and let us know your favorite ways to play the game. We also ask, is there any difference from how you WISH you can play the game vs how you ACTUALLY play the game? Let us know! Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne joins us to discuss her pivotal Leveling the Playing Field 2.0 Act, which seeks to address the unfair advantages that have allowed China to manipulate trade practices at the expense of American workers. She explains how the legislation aims to close loopholes that have enabled Chinese goods to circumvent tariffs and emphasizes the bipartisan support it has garnered in Congress. As the conversation unfolds, we delve into the broader implications of trade practices and the urgent need for accountability in how taxpayer dollars are being utilized. Congresswoman Van Dyne sheds light on the ongoing investigations into nonprofit organizations and their potential connections to fraudulent schemes, particularly in Minnesota. She emphasizes the importance of ensuring that taxpayer money is not funneled into corrupt operations that undermine American values and security.Furthermore, we discuss the potential historic moment in Congress regarding former President Bill Clinton's refusal to testify and the implications of holding a former president in contempt. Congresswoman Van Dyne shares her thoughts on the need for accountability and the expectation that no one is above the law, highlighting the critical role of transparency in government.Next, we welcome the acclaimed investigative journalist Peter Schweizer, whose latest book, "The Invisible Coup," exposes the alarming realities of weaponized immigration in America. J.P. highlights the positive steps taken by President Trump to bolster Christian values, including the establishment of the White House faith office and the open discussions of faith among administration officials. As we reflect on the challenges faced by Christians today, JP emphasizes the need for swift action against those who threaten religious liberty. He argues that the Minneapolis incident represents a troubling escalation in the left's war on Christianity, calling for decisive legal repercussions to deter future attacks on places of worship.Furthermore, we discuss the responsibilities of pastors and church leaders in advocating for their congregations and the importance of engaging with elected officials to safeguard religious freedoms. JP stresses that the protection of religious liberty must be prioritized and that the community must hold authorities accountable to prevent such disruptions from occurring again.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This week, I welcome David Glasgow and Kenji Yoshino, co-authors of the new book How Equality Wins: A New Vision for an Inclusive America. As leaders of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at NYU School of Law, David and Kenji discuss the legal and political landscape of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) following the 2023 Supreme Court decision on affirmative action. They provide a practical roadmap for leaders to advance equality while navigating legal risks and political backlash. My Key Takeaways The "Three Ps" of Legal Risk: A DEI program is generally only legally risky if it involves a Preference for a Protected group about a Palpable benefit. If any one of these elements is missing—such as a program that removes bias for everyone rather than creating a preference—it is likely legally permissible. Leveling vs. Lifting: While "lifting" strategies (like identity-based mentorship) are becoming more legally vulnerable, "leveling" strategies offer a safer and often more effective path. Leveling focuses on systemic changes, such as debiasing performance reviews and implementing objective hiring criteria, which benefit all employees while advancing equity. The Importance of Supporting Dissent: Effective DEI work requires creating psychological safety where dissenting views can be heard. Suppressing disagreement leads to "preference falsification," where people appear to agree but harbor quiet resentment. Engaging with counter-arguments ultimately builds stronger, more resilient support for inclusion. In the thirty years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law, the lives of disabled people have not improved nearly as much as activists and politicians had hoped. In Crip Negativity (U of Minnesota Press, 2023), J. Logan Smilges shows us what's gone wrong and what we can do to fix it. Leveling a strong critique of the category of disability and liberal disability politics, Smilges asks and imagines what horizons might exist for the liberation of those oppressed by ableism—beyond access and inclusion. Inspired by models of negativity in queer studies, Black studies, and crip theory, Smilges proposes that bad crip feelings might help all of us to care gently for one another, even as we demand more from the world than we currently believe to be possible. In this episode, Nick Caverly talks about his new book, Demolishing Detroit: How Structural Racism Endures (Stanford UP, 2025). For decades, Detroit residents, politicians, planners, and advocacy organizations have campaigned for the elimination of empty buildings from city neighborhoods. Leveling these structures, many argue, is essential to making space for Detroit's majority-Black populace to flourish in the wake of white flight and deindustrialization. In 2013, the city set out to demolish more than twenty thousand empty buildings by the end of the decade, with administrators suggesting it would offer an innovative model for what other American cities could do to combat the effects of racist disinvestment. Drawing on extensive ethnographic research with city residents, demolition workers, and public officials, as well as analyses of administrative archives, Demolishing Detroit examines the causes, procedures, and consequences of empty-building demolitions in Detroit. Contrary to stated goals of equity, the book reveals how racism and intersecting inequities endured despite efforts to level them. As calls to dismantle racist systems have become increasingly urgent, this book provides cautionary tales of urban transformations meant to combat white supremacy that ultimately reinforced inequality. Bridging political analyses of racial capitalism, infrastructures, and environments in cities, Nick Caverly grapples with the reality that tearing down unjust policies, ideologies, and landscapes is not enough to end racist disparities in opportunities and life chances. Doing so demands rebuilding systems in the service of reparative futures. Nick Caverly is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In "Beyond FBA: Unlocking Amazon's Fulfillment for Retailers", Joe Lynch and Wainwright Yu, the General Manager and Director for Amazon's externalized fulfillment services, including Buy with Prime and Multichannel Fulfillment, discuss how retailers can scale their brands by leveraging Amazon's global logistics and the Prime badge to drive multi-channel growth. About Wainwright Yu Wainwright Yu is a technology executive and leadership coach who currently serves as the General Manager and Director for Amazon's externalized fulfillment services, including Buy with Prime and Multichannel Fulfillment. Over a distinguished thirteen-year tenure at Amazon, he has launched transformative products for Kindle and Amazon Logistics while training emerging leaders through executive development programs. As a scholar-practitioner and father to four multi-exceptional children, he brings a unique, personal perspective to cognitive diversity in the workplace. Through his diverse work in global business operations and private coaching, Wainwright remains dedicated to his mission of establishing mindful, compassionate leadership as the standard for the modern professional world. About Amazon Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. Amazon strives to be Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company, Earth's Best Employer, and Earth's Safest Place to Work. Customer reviews, 1-Click shopping, personalized recommendations, Prime, Fulfillment by Amazon, AWS, Kindle Direct Publishing, Kindle, Career Choice, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, Alexa, Just Walk Out technology, Amazon Studios, and The Climate Pledge are some of the things pioneered by Amazon. Key Takeaways: Beyond FBA: Unlocking Amazon's Fulfillment for Retailers In "Beyond FBA: Unlocking Amazon's Fulfillment for Retailers", Joe Lynch and Wainwright Yu, the General Manager and Director for Amazon's externalized fulfillment services, including Buy with Prime and Multichannel Fulfillment, discuss how retailers can scale their brands by leveraging Amazon's global logistics and the Prime badge to drive multi-channel growth. Leveling the Playing Field with MCF: Wainwright explains how Multi-Channel Fulfillment allows any retailer—whether they sell on Amazon or not—to tap into Amazon's global network of 200+ fulfillment centers. This turns Amazon into a high-performance 3PL that handles picking, packing, and shipping for orders from your own website, Shopify, or even social media stores. The "Halo Effect" of Buy with Prime: A major focus is how Buy with Prime allows D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) sites to offer the familiar Prime logo and checkout experience. By providing the same fast, free delivery promise shoppers trust on Amazon, retailers have seen an average 25% lift in conversion rates on their independent sites. Unified Inventory Management: Wainwright discusses the strategic advantage of a single pool of inventory. Instead of splitting stock between various warehouses, retailers can keep all their products in Amazon's centers to fulfill both Amazon.com orders (via FBA) and off-Amazon orders (via MCF), drastically reducing out-of-stock risks. Frictionless Checkout via Amazon Pay: With Buy with Prime, the checkout process is streamlined using the customer's existing Amazon account details. This reduces "cart abandonment" because shoppers don't have to enter credit card or shipping info, making the purchase as simple as a few clicks. Unbranded Packaging Options: A common concern for retailers is brand identity. Wainwright highlights that MCF orders can be shipped in unbranded, "blank box" packaging, allowing the retailer's brand to remain front and center rather than being overshadowed by Amazon's smile logo. Trust-Building through Reviews: Through Buy with Prime, retailers can now display their Amazon.com star ratings and reviews directly on their own websites. This social proof helps "new-to-brand" shoppers feel confident enough to buy from a site they may be visiting for the first time. Predictable, All-In Pricing: Wainwright clarifies that both services offer a simple, transparent fee structure that includes storage, picking, packing, and shipping. For many brands, this eliminates the hidden costs of managing private warehouses and allows for more accurate margin forecasting. Peter Jones, who heads up Revenue at Premion, returns to Insider Interviews (see Ep 38) to educate us on the shifts in local TV advertising in a streaming-first world -- and how small businesses can compete with national brands, with greater access to sports inventory, and why measurement actually matters! Learn what "context" really means for advertisers (spoiler: consumers don't experience media in silos), how the collapse of some Regional Sports Networks has created opportunities for local advertisers, and why "smart curation" is more than an industry buzzword. But it's not just the small business that needs to adapt: it's agencies and brands, too. Peter breaks down what full-funnel capabilities now available to SMBs—from maxing out brand awareness across Premion's 210 DMAs, to measurable sales transactions, tapping 1st and 3rd party data.  And, as we gear up for playoff sports, he reminds us how technology has leveled the playing field and that local advertisers can get in the game, too! So, sports puns are pervasive in Episode 44 since part of our conversation is about Premion's new(ish) programmatic options to enable more inventory for all in live sports. Talk about a “game changer...!” Understand how local car dealerships and furniture stores can now leverage the same targeting, data, and attribution tools that Fortune 500 companies use, all while reaching their specific communities with precision. But for everyone, it's key to understand the importance of creative in driving outcomes, and omnichannel strategies (because yes, we're all scrolling during halftime), and why advertisers need to embrace data-driven decisions over personal platform preferences. "The first thing to realize is that big tech has leveled the playing field for local advertisers..." Whether you're a media buyer, agency leader, or local business owner trying to navigate the CTV landscape, this conversation delivers practical guidance on inventory, data, and measurement—the three pillars every advertiser should evaluate when choosing a CTV partner. Bottom line? The local advertising opportunity in streaming TV has never been bigger—but only for those willing to adapt, measure outcomes over impressions, and follow consumers wherever they are. This week we dive into Solo Leveling Season 2. We start off a quick play-by-play, Jin-woo's Red Gate, Demon Castle grind, rising heat from the Association, Chae Hae-in catching on, and the Jeju Island shadow-army to round it off, then we argue adaptation choices. Rick's fine with trimming inner monologues and letting visuals carry the pace but Jack pushes back saying that tiny connective scenes like the post-Red Gate interviews, Jinho's dad's motives among other things were cut, muddying why guilds chase Jin-woo. We spar over what characters actually “know” in-anime, when Baek clocks Jin-woo's growth, and how a few 10 to 20 second inserts or stat card bumpers could've fixed a lot without bogging things down. About the anime: Jinwoo steps into the role of the Shadow Monarch while still posing as an E-rank hunter in public. The season follows his push through the Red Gate and the Demon Castle to secure the Elixir, his partnership with Yoo Jinho as they navigate guild requirements, and the growing scrutiny from the Hunters Association as his sudden leaps defy explanation. Cha Hae-In starts to see through the act when he keeps showing up to save raids, pulling him into the S-rank spotlight and making every major guild angle to recruit him. It all builds to the Jeju Island raid, where his shadow army reveals its true scale, new generals are born, and the balance of power in the hunter world tilts hard. Lured Up Podcast 371 Live Streamed on - 11/10/2025 Publish Date - 11/14/2025 Pokémon GO has been treating Trainers pretty well since the Leveling update. Great events, new Pokémon and Shiny releases all delivered in a balanced and manageable cadence. We recap how great the events have been with the Halloween double feature, then Enchanted Hollow, and now Into The Wild. Things have been cooking, and the gameplay has been great, all leading up to GO Wild Area, which happened in Nagasaki, Japan last week and globally, this week.  The news cycle remains packed, with information on November and December Community Days, the debut of DMAX Eevee, and even the save-the-dates for next season. It seems that while the game and product teams may fumble sometimes, generally, the game has been feeling great. This weekend brings us GO Wild Area: Global, and GO HUb has put together a really great event guide that touches on just about every corner of the two day event. It lays out strategies for everything from box maintenance to sunscreen.GMAX Grimsnarl will be on most Trainer's radar during the event, so we put together a little MAX Battle Party for it. Ken will be attending the Niantic Community Celebration on Sunday, November 16th in Philadelphia, along with a group of incredibly talented creators! Check out the flyer at LuredUp.com! Our final discussion of the episode is about how Pokémon GO Communities can be a catalyst of community action. We talk about ways that even small communities can leverage Campfire and other tools to support those around them. Ken will be working with some great Community Ambassadors to host food drives to support the local community. Find Ken at the event to donate or learn how you can help! Important update for all Delta pilots. In this Engage Alert, host First Officer Ryan Argenta is joined by First Officer Mark Hinczynski (Contract Administration & Enforcement) and Captain Ian Turner (Scheduling) to break down a newly agreed-upon MOU between the Company and ALPA. What's inside: Click-to-Sick / Sick Lookback: The Company will pause counting sick hours toward lookback retroactive to the July 2025 bid period and going forward until verified compliance. Sick-leave verification tied to exceeding 120 hours is paused during this period. QHCP—Permanent PWA Change: The PWA now permanently broadens “Qualified Health Care Provider” beyond MD/DO, allowing verification via telehealth and additional licensed providers. New “Quick Slip” Step of Coverage: A seniority-based, no-trigger premium step added to coverage. Awarded in a single 12-minute ARCOS window, less opportunities for deal-making, added step before emergency coverage (inverse assignment). Leveling rules apply. Timing: Programming for Quick Slip is targeted for Q2 2026; interim protections remain in force until compliance is confirmed. Compliance will be jointly assessed (including pilot DARTs). Action items: Read the MOU language, contact your LEC reps with questions, and send DARTs to Contract Admin for issues.

Londinium Chronicles Part 3 Audio Sept 28.mp3 HEADLINE: How to Move the Billionaires: War, Leveling, and the Failure of Reform SPEAKERS: Germanicus and Gaius 200 WORD SUMMARY: The speakers address the internal crisis within "Fortress America": the modern-day Palatine Hill, represented by the billionaires who are untouchable and above the law. Gaius cites economist Thomas Piketty, highlighting the "gigantic" wealth amassed by the super-rich. Germanicus asserts that the only guaranteed pathway to practical leveling—bringing the super-rich back down—is through war, whether external conflict or civil war. He explains that upheaval is necessary because the rate of return on investments consistently outpaces inflation, creating extraordinary wealth imbalance. World War II and the Great Depression were instruments of leveling in the US, creating the middle class and a more cohesive society. Today, US society is highly bifurcated, with the top 7-8% of the population holding 60% of the nation's wealth. Germanicus suggests that the populares committed to radical change are not the conventional "socialist" progressives (who are "parasites" of the state), but groups motivated by non-material goals. Both speakers emphatically agree that the problem of wealth inequality and the power of the Palatine will not be solved by reforms, calling reform a "misdirection." They conclude that maintaining the "status quo" means they are deeply "in trouble." 1790 SULLA'S PROSCRIPTIONS
