In this short solo episode, Joe Way gives less of a preview and rather a reminder to log in for the HETMA Virtual Conference, emphasizing that it is free, easy to access, and built to fit into a normal work week. He explains that all you need to do is create a free account on the HETMA community site, go to the Events and Replays area, open the Virtual Conference listing, and click the Zoom link to join, with the schedule and recordings also available through the community. From there, he reflects on why the virtual conference matters to the organization's identity, because it was how HETMA began and how its “by us and for us” approach came to life, with the community choosing what it wanted to learn and bringing in the right experts rather than relying on a generic call for sessions. He notes that the virtual conference became an important platform for higher education voices, especially during the COVID era, and that it helped accelerate the organization's growth, leadership development, and initiatives, including moments where honest feedback from attendees shaped meaningful action.Joe highlights the unique community effect of the event, where people can join quietly, participate in chat, and still build relationships that later turn into deeper involvement and leadership within HETMA. This year's conference runs for three days, with morning kickoffs, sessions throughout the day, and a daily happy hour to keep the community connection strong, and Joe repeatedly gives permission to attend in the most realistic way possible by putting it on in the background, jumping in between meetings, and treating it as a flexible shared experience rather than something that requires stepping away from work. He closes by reinforcing that this free conference is especially valuable when budgets and travel are limited, because it still provides three days of learning, networking, and shared problem solving with the higher ed AV community, plus the ability to catch replays afterward if you cannot attend everything live.Visit the community page: https://community.hetma.org/posts/80675845.

WON DESPITE THE REF! | Aston Villa 1-3 Newcastle United | FA Cup ReactionWhat a chaotic night at Villa Park! Newcastle United marched into the FA Cup fifth round with a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa, but the real story was the shocking refereeing. With no VAR in operation for this fourth-round tie, the Magpies had to overcome both the opposition and a string of bizarre officiating decisions to get the job done. The Offside Opener: Aston Villa took the lead in the 14th minute when Tammy Abraham swept home a free-kick. Replays clearly showed he was offside, but without VAR to intervene, the goal stood. The Digne Incidents: Lucas Digne somehow escaped a red card for a high, studs-up challenge on Jacob Murphy. Later, Digne blatantly handled the ball well inside his own penalty area, but referee Chris Kavanagh inexplicably awarded a free-kick outside the box instead of a penalty.Bizot Sees Red: The momentum finally shifted right before half-time when Villa goalkeeper Marco Bizot was shown a straight red card for a wild, rushing foul on Jacob Murphy.Tonali & Woltemade to the Rescue: Newcastle made the extra man count in the second half. Sandro Tonali scored a brilliant brace in the 63rd and 76th minutes to flip the game on its head. Nick Woltemade then sealed the 3-1 win in the 88th minute, celebrating his 24th birthday in style.Up Next: Champions League Nights in Baku! There's no time to rest as the lads are immediately back in European action.Fixture: Qarabağ FK vs. Newcastle UnitedThis will be a tricky away environment for Eddie Howe's side, but Newcastle are the clear favorites. While Qarabağ can be dangerous going forward—having scored 33 goals across 20 Champions League matches this season—the Azeri champions are incredibly vulnerable at the back. They have conceded 41 goals in those same European fixtures and have struggled against high-level opposition. If Newcastle can handle the long travel and the atmosphere, there should be plenty of away goals up for grabs!----------------------CLICK THE LINK TO JOIN OUT TOON TELEGRAM CHAT - https://t.me/+wy_odMOP03A5YWZl---------------------⚫️ https://toonunder.com⚪️ Find us on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@ToonUnderPodcast⚫️ Twitter @ToonUnderPod⚪️ Apple Music and Spotify search Toon Under Podcast

If money feels harder than it “should” right now, this episode is your reset: you don't have a marketing problem, you have an offer clarity problem. In this conversation, I'm breaking down the foundational truth that changes everything in your coaching or service-based business: you can't sell what you can't name. And I know that sounds basic. But I'm telling you, after talking to business owners every single day, this is the pattern I see over and over again: people think they need better messaging, more leads, a stronger launch, or “visibility.”Meanwhile they can't clearly answer one question:What are you selling?I also share how my background teaching yoga shaped the way I understand offers: one class doesn't change your life, but a practice does. And your business needs to be positioned the same way.If you've been feeling stuck, fuzzy, or like your business should be working better than it is, listen to this episode. It will help you stop spinning and start selling what you're actually here to do.Because your next level isn't hiding in another funnel. It's hiding in the question you've been avoiding. In This Episode, I Talk About:Why revenue doesn't feel “easy” when you're unclear on what you're actually selling The difference between selling a modality vs. selling a transformationHow most coaches and business owners are misdiagnosing their “problem”Why people won't invest time, energy, or money if they can't picture the outcome they're buyingWhy specificity isn't a “niche trap” What “profitable” actually means in terms of business modelsHow values-driven businesses can lead right now, creating spaces of love, safety, and belonging when people need it most.If you've ever found yourself asking “why does making money feel so hard right now?”, pop your earbuds in and give this one a listen. And if you want help getting clear on it, come join me inside the Profitable Coaching Business Bootcamp (week of February 9). Using Galatians 1:10 and the example of the Apostle Paul, we explore the difference between seeking godly counsel and living for approval, and how to recognize when other voices have become louder than God's. Most women assume getting dressed feels difficult because their wardrobe needs an upgrade and they're missing key pieces that will make all the difference. And so they shop and shop and shop to try to make it better.   And I say this with love… but the real reason your closet feels overwhelming and incomplete all at the same time is because it's being treated like storage space instead of like a curated collection designed for your life. It's holding who you used to be, who you thought you'd be by now, who you're trying to be on your best days, and who you are on a random Tuesday. No wonder it feels like a lot.   The fact of the matter is… You don't need a better wardrobe. You need a better way to make decisions — about what stays, what belongs, and what works for the real life you're living today.   In this episode, I want to share a little peek at what we've been working on inside the free Shop Your Closet Challenge. Most of us have tried them - spent the money, followed the plans - only to end up frustrated or right back where we started. The missing piece? A strong foundation. And the good news is, it's not complicated - just a few practical, common-sense shifts can spark real, lasting change.  This episode is packed with real talk, science-backed wisdom, and practical tips to help you pick your own adventure in a doable way. No more "all or nothing" attempts. Start over for the last time with one or a few of the easy but effective action steps you can incorporate today.   If you're ready to stop feeling overwhelmed and finally start your wellness journey, this episode breaks it down into six simple, sustainable categories - what we call the Foundations of Wellness. You'll learn how to:   Eat a nutrient-dense diet rooted in real, whole foods (not calorie math), following Weston A. Price principles and honoring your bio-individual needs. Optimize digestion, the root of all health, by chewing thoroughly, practicing mindful eating, and supporting stomach acid and enzyme function. Balance blood sugar with small, daily habits like walking after meals and pairing carbs with protein and fat. Improve sleep through calming evening routines, avoiding stimulants before bed, and aligning with your circadian rhythm. Reduce stress with tools like the 4-7-8 breath, gratitude practices, and brain dumping. When new people find the Nutritional Therapy and Wellness Podcast, they ask, "Where do I start?" While we'd love for you to go back to the beginning and take them all in, this is for those who need a quick catch-up. We're doing a Rapid Replay Series of condensed episodes, including the most popular episodes according to streams and downloads, and a few of our team's personal favorites.   In this replay episode of The Nutritional Therapy and Wellness Podcast, host Jamie Belz, FNTP, MHC, brings back a historical lecture given by the founder of The Nutritional Therapy Association, Gray Graham. Gray discusses the optimal function of digestion in a way you've never heard it explained. Listen to this, then come back tomorrow to catch the next episode as Gray explains digestive dysfunction.   Optimal digestion is crucial for vitality. It ensures that the body efficiently breaks down food into nutrients, which are then absorbed and utilized for energy, growth, and cellular repair. Proper digestion supports a strong immune system, maintains a healthy gut microbiome, and helps prevent gastrointestinal disorders. Additionally, it plays a significant role in mental health, as the gut is often referred to as the "second brain" due to its impact on mood and cognitive function. Therefore, maintaining optimal digestion is vital for promoting physical and mental health, enhancing quality of life, and preventing chronic diseases. The follow-up to yesterday's explanation of how digestion works when functioning optimally, today's episode continues along the journey of digestion, explaining that if someone is not properly digesting their food, they will not be able to absorb and assimilate the nutrients from the foods they are eating, regardless of how healthful those foods are. Gray walks you through "Digestive Hell" – the myriad of diseases, conditions, and other unpleasantries that arise from a suboptimal digestive system.   Every cell in an organism's tissues, organs, and systems relies on the ability to absorb nutrients from food properly. Factors such as stress, poor eating habits, gallbladder removal, and reduced stomach acid (HCl) levels can hinder digestion. Given the critical role of nutrition in maintaining healthy cells, any disruption in digestion can be harmful in various ways. A dysfunctional digestive system catalyzes a domino effect, impacting the functioning of other bodily systems.   Topics Discussed: – Recap of optimal digestion – Start of digestive dysfunction – "Where's 'Digestive Hell'?" – Distraction, stress, sympathetic state – Pancreatic amylase – Dysbiosis, yeast, pathogens – It's all about acid/pH levels – Macronutrient degradation – Inputs for the production of HCl – Things that cause hypochlorhydria (stress, too much protein, zinc, other nutrient deficiencies, allergies…) – Dr. Jonathan Wright, Heidelberg Test, hypochlorhydria, pH for proper hormone function, and enzymatic action – Pasteur vs. Bechamp / Microorganisms vs. Terraine (Which is to blame?) – H. pylori – Heartburn, acid reflux, GERD, ulcers – Homework/experiment – Incomplete digestion, whole food particles in the small intestine – Gallbladder, bile, fats, cholecystokinin, liver, fat-free or low-fat diet as the cause of gallstones and gallbladder dysfunction, cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) – Burping up fish oil and delayed-release fish oil – Undigested proteins, microvilli, leaky gut/gut permeability, immune dysfunction – Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, healing her autistic child, GAPS Diet – Large intestine/colon, ileocecal valve, dysbiosis, inflammation, diverticulitis, irritable bowel, Crohn's disease, celiac disease/gluten reactivity, hormones/endocrine system, enzymes, heart health, allergies, butyric acid, and foul-smelling feces   ________________________________________ Thanks for listening! While this is a necessary step, the healthiest diet for an individual's bioindividual needs is of little benefit if they're not properly breaking down food into molecules that can be absorbed and utilized by the body. The health of the organism is dependent upon the health of the organ systems, which are dependent upon the health of the organs, which is dependent upon the health of the tissues, which is dependent upon the health of the cells, which is dependent upon digestion. Thus, all wellness begins with digestion.   Topics Covered: – Overview of digestion – Digestive inputs/volume – Six digestive functions – Digestion is a north-to-south process – where does it begin? – Digestion is fundamental to Nutritional Therapy – How's it all supposed to work? – Deep dive into optimal function ________________________________________ Thanks for listening!
