A Podcast detailing the rigorous and often delicate writing process for the Super Brophy Brothers webcomic. Tell your whores of friends that maybe they should show some class for once by listening to this. Rate us 5 stars and we'll love you long time. Check out the comic here: www.superbrophybroth…
In today's podcast, I can be heard saying "This is possibly the worst audio recording ever done." I can't think of a better way to put words out my mouth about it now.
We talk about Dark Souls (and etc.) for a while before spending an embarrassingly long time trying to write a very small portion of this comic. It's actually our longest released podcast to date and worth it not at all.
Strip Search is Penny Arcade's reality internet show about comic artists. This comic was inspired by the show's fourth elimination challenge (although it's our first crack at one), which required the creation of a comic using the concepts "Flatulence" and "Country Fair." Needless to say, this isn't intended to demonstate our hypothetical ability to compete. We're two people and we didn't play by the 90 minute time limit. We talk about it more in the podcast. (We're releasing this one now because it's relatively topical; the ones we skipped are still coming) Contained within are Strip Search spoilers through elimination #4 (episode 13), so be sure to watch that far before listening to this one. If you're interested enough in comic making to listen to our podcast, then you'll probably enjoy it.
It’s podcast! Come for the Dark Souls/Skyrim talk; stay for the descent into madness. Descents are always good.
It’s true, peoples. Turns out it wasn’t really sustainable for us to produce as many podcasts as we had been. Documenting some of the creative process for every comic strip was a cool idea, just not totally realistic. The podcasts for all the comics up through this one will remain available (The first 150 episodes) and I’ll release at least one episode per month hereafter. Donations to Super Brophy Brothers will fund the production of extra episodes, in addition to supporting us as an entity and fueling our growth. You’ll also be listed as a contributor for that episode.I talked about some of the motivation for this decision back in episode 119 of the podcast and you can hear me talk about some more of the specifics and how the funding will work in this one. A big thanks goes out to all the cool fellas and hypothetical ladies who’ve listened so far, and to anyone who continues to listen in the future!
Here’s the podcast. It’s short and straight forward. A strictly no bells and whistles affair.
This podcast is like a new Hangover film. Except none of the actors from the previous films could make it. We could make it though. Also, it’s not a movie and it is a podcast.
We’re surely talking about you, in today’s podcast. Also contained within are gamer chats and failed comic ideas. So, maybe you can enjoy that. (My end of the conversation stopped recording partway through our conversation. You may notice a decrease in quality when it switches over to the auxiliary recording.)
Fuck it. I guess our podcast is about video games. Here you go.
This is the only podcast ever that will teach you of flaunches. You need this info. Don’t lie to us. Don’t lie to yourself. After that, we talk about video games forever.
We twiddle around and toodle around and don’t get anywhere. Hey hey happy happy go.
You can listen to the podcast. We talk about tattoos and video games, I guess, etc.
This comic’s brief podcast abruptly turns to genitals, much to no one's surprise.
We had the original version of this conversation back in Podcast 111. (Towards the end) This podcast is basically us crafted it into the comic before you. So, I guess you probably know if that’s the kind of thing you want to listen at.
In this podcast: The stupidest conversation Eli has had in his life. Not Jake though. (Note: Halfway through, my (Jake’s) side of the conversation switches to the auxiliary recording)
In the podcast, we explore the realitude of this totally existent thing. As you might expect, it leads to some old fashioned gamer bitching.
We’ve upped the audio integrity of our podcast to semi-professional levels. The quality of the content remains roughly the same probably! This episode may contain: video game bullshiting, childhood prose, and a virtually satisfying explanation of how this comic came to be.
The brevity of this podcast episode was a gift to Eli and, truth be told, humanity at large.
Many are the reasons that one could conceivably dislike this episode of the podcast.
It stands to reason that we talk about our Strip Search rejection on the podcast. We are nothing if not reasonable.
This podcast contains some video game talk followed by a very belabored discussion about a comic that was not meant to be. WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE
Big thanks to Casey Stroz for providing the idea seed that we germinated(?) into this here comic. Listen to the process in the procdcast.
I'm running out of things to say about this comic's podcast!
Does the podcast for this comic have what it takes to roll with the big dogs? Definitively, maybe.
Witness the conception, development, and eventual decline of an idea, in this comic’s podcast.
What is podcast? That’s easy. It’s jambalaya. Love is also jambalaya.
Tonight’s podcast is served with a side of attempted bicycle homicide.
Today’s podcast contains mild Naruto spoiler for some reason? This comic almost took a dark turn.
I don't know what to say except podcast.
If you wish to be one of the sacred few to email in to the podcast, you might be interested to know our email address is superbrophybrothers@gmail.com. You can also listen to today's podcast. Ya' know, if you want. It's your life, dawg. Yolo that shit.
We talk about variety of things in today’s podcast including the potential future format of said podcast.
Speedcast. Zip zip zip zip zip zip zip zip zip zip zip zip get it.
Today’s podcast is dumb and dumb long. Be sure to enjoy it in the dumbest and longest way possible.
Today’s podcast is now on internet. Listen, as our attempts to write a comic are derailed by the very distinct possibility of us becoming participants in reality on the Penny Arcade Television. Then we run our mouths about a bunch of other bullshit for really no reason at all. It’s really not bad listening if you like bullshit.
Hop aboard the Spelunky talk express. OH GOD WHY IS THIS TRAIN SO LONG
It’s funny; I felt like there was a strange presence with us on the podcast for this comic. Must have been my spookmagination.
The next chapter of audio documentation on the ongoing struggle of brothers is arrived.
As aforeshadowed, here is the podcast detailing the creation of this comic and the comic prior.
Even a broken clock knows that it's podcast time. Broken clocks just be crazy like that.
We done been reviewed! It can be heard in Digital Strips episode 289 at 17:45. Why critics in the real world choose to release their reviews to the public and not simply mail them in letters to the reviewees is a mystery to me. If the prospect of us talking about people talking about our comic on our podcast, wherein we write a comic about us talking about them talking about us, sounds like a recipe for self indulgence, it's because it is that! None the less, it can be listened to if you so desire.
Today’s podcast contain an exquisite blend of talk about video games and questionable japanese humor. Don’t you just love when things get exquisite?
Mostly logistical comic talking in this podcast. Fucking bullets, how do they work?
Eli curses at the internet. Jake says ‘hello’. Welcome to the podcast.
